- thalia singing nandito ako during 1997 philippine concert. i give credit to er2006 the original uploader of the video. i posted it in this site so that others unfamiliar with brazilian youtube can watch it also.
I hope she come back in the Philippines.. she is like Sushmita Sen. Filipinos will always love her. She is part of Filipinos lives. It's been 23 years..

NANDITO AKO is a good song I don't speak TAGALOG but i learned NANDITO AKO with Thalia, I bought NANDITO AKO cd and is a great CD,the person who sold me the cd from Thalia sent me th cd direct from The Phillippines,SALAMAT FILIPINOS i speak Spanish,and i now how to write in English,but sometimes I write wrong words hahahahaha.bye.

You know RPN did a great job of allowing Thalia to come here to Manila in August of 1996. Now TV5 was aired Marimar in July of 2020 so that we won't ever forget the history of Thalia in Manila. I wish there will be #ThaliainManila2022 if the situation of the quarantine is already over. Remember Anime, Asian dramas, and Spanish dramas are the best viewing on television during this pandemic. I miss Thalia 😢😢😢😢. And also Spanish dramas are the best viewing ever in the history of Philippine television. Let's thank RPN for a great job

Vivo en el Sudoeste Asiático y efectivamente sus novelas fueron muy famosas aquí. He estado en todos los países del Sudoeste de Asia, pero en los que siempre me la mencionan cada vez que me presento con alguien como mexicano, es en Malasia, Indonesia y Filipinas. No mencionan el nombre Thalia, realmente no ubican ese nombre, pero siempre se refieren a ella como “Maria la del barrio o Rosalinda” (en mi perfil hay un video que lo prueba, por si les interesa). Algunas veces también me llegaron a mencionar “La ursurpadora”; no se puede negar que Televisa la estuvo haciendo a lo grande durante un tiempo”, es increíble que hoy la empresa esté en bancarrota; los dramas Coreanos han tomado todo lo que Televisa alguna vez logro en los mercados internacionales de países “no hispano hablantes”.

if i recall accurately the song, the song nandito ako ( crudely "i'm here" ) is about one who has a secret love for someone who unfortunately has love for another. though the love did not turn out as wished, it reminds that person that if his relationship with the other one fails, an unfailing love waits for him on the other side saying patiently, "i'm here".

@aiaorui11 Back in the 90s, some Filipino TV stations wanted to air soap operas but since US shows are expensive, they tried to air Latino soap operas dubbed in Filipino. Televisa brought some telenovelas here.
One of these shows was 'Marimar'. Let's just say that Thalia's beauty and the storyline took the entire Philippines by storm, because that's basically what it is.
