Congrats and well done to you on reading a book again please stay safe and strong your in my thoughts and prayers love your number one Australia fan John and I have not read this book 📖 yet thinking about you and your family
I am curious but not curious enough to actually get it 😂 It does have a cool premise though, it should be right up my alley lol but after your review, I think Id have the same complaints. Great review!
Love your reviews. I agree with you with Stephen King, he's good with both Horror and Crime. He does have a hit or miss with his endings. But I'm glad you enjoyed it.
You are out of the reading slump- YAY!. I absolutely loved Later by Stephen King- gritty, fast- paced, suspenseful although it had a weird reveal at the end which kind of felt out of place. 🖤🤍👻 I wasn't a fan of druggie Liz though. Later was more of a crime story as opposed to a full blown horror. It wasn't perfect but it read okay. I gave it a 4 star rating as well.
Great minds think alike!!! Yeah I just felt like it ended roo abruptly and then the reveal added nothing, I didn't get the point! But you're right, it was still a fun read!!
@@MarieMcWilliams Tbh a part of me feels like in some of his current books he is going along the same vein as his son with the whole incest incorporation plotline. (Such as Joe Hills Heart Shaped Box). It seems rather unnecessary in my opinion.
@@Books_BrewsandBeyond I'm ok with it being in a book if it's part of the plot or development but this felt so random and added nothing at all to the story. I don't really get why it was even in it
@@evelyn_doe I'm the same, between work, my kid and everything else going on in my life I really struggle. Plus I'm such a slow reader which really doesn't help
@@MarieMcWilliams Ohhh I see.. Hope everything's OK!!! 💕💕 and yeahiii I feel you so much! I'm a slooooow reader too but that's the way to enjoy it, isn't it? Hehe
Have you read this one? What did you think?
unfortunatelly not yet,but i want to buy this one too!!!

Yeah if you read it let me know! I do think you too would be like, oh I thought there would be more lol but it's still a good read
It’s great you manage to read again! I really want to read this book, hope they translate it soon!
It's a good one, I think you'll enjoy it!!
Great review Marie! I’m looking forward to this one, even with that ending. 😂
I still enjoyed it and would recommend it but you'll definitely see what I mean when you read it! Lol

Yeah it was a good read!! I would have liked the ending to be a little more, well just more lol but it is what it is

@@MarieMcWilliams Yeah it was more or less just plonked in there.
I haven't read that yet. Sounds like a Brian Lumley lift. 😁 Sorry. Such a fan of Brian Lumley. Love the Queens of the Stone Age shirt.👍
Nice video.
Why thank you!! I do love a band tee lol. It's a fairly common trope but I think it's done in an original enough way.
Hey from here!Amazing as always :)) it seems intresting even though it's "little" for King xD
It's a great book! It's got a very abrupt ending but I really enjoyed it
@@MarieMcWilliams hmm i've got to find the time to read, due to work hours it's a habit like many others that i miss!

Good review! Odd about the ending of the book. I have read King before, but not sure this one is for me.
The ending was just so rushed! And the reveal so needless
Good book. 3/5
The ending was rushed and like you said, needless. But entertaining and funny too. Not a horror book though.
No definitely a crime more than horror!
I like your video from Steven in the uk
Thanks my lovely x
Another good video what is going too Be
I was a little underwhelmed by it, but I thought it was okay. He's done better recently, but he's also done worse!
I really enjoyed it, I just thought that ending was super rushed and the reveal was completely pointless!!
@@MarieMcWilliams Ahhhh King is known for not always sticking the endings though :D And yeah, the reveal was dumb ^_^
@@danecobain it added absolutely nothing! Bizarre
