    This is such a beatiful move to learn! I badly wanted to be able to pull it off since the first time I saw it. I knew it woudn't be easy. And now ... I am stuck with the opener... Maybe my hands are too small, or maybe I lack dexterity.
    P.S. I love your tutorials!

    Thank you EKat finally a cardistry move I can fully invest my time in. I’m a magician and though a massive fan of yours and Madison etc I avoid almost all flourishing as it generates unwanted heat and drains impact...unless you’re as good as you are😉 Thus I reserve my hand cramping for the hidden unsung hero type sleights. That said THIS I think I can use to invoke pyramid power in a tongue-in-cheek manner which will sell because of the obvious skill, satisfying visual and tension built. I live for trying to create tension in a genuine manner rather than typical magic cheese. Not saying I accomplish this lol but boy this looks like precisely what I have have been...so ya Thank you for this gem I will attempt to do you proud❣️

    DOES ANYONE KNOW IF she'll be returning to her Cardistry tutorials again, or is this simply a one-off? I hope she does both. I miss her old Cardistry tutorials, as she taught them so much better than virtually anyone else; No crazy angles or annoying music or "I'm-too-cool-attitude" - - just easy to understand explanations taught in her calm, collected, easy going manner.

    Can you teach how to do magic with small hands please? I'm finding it hard to palm cards with really small hands. Thanks ekat

    • @wendyvank
      @wendyvank 5 років тому

      I just sent the same comment. I can tell you that I had to learn the charlier and (especially the scissor cut) with a deck of bridge cards first. But with those cuts it was a matter of learning proper tilting of one pack - this one is just plain out of my reach. It will be interesting if we get a reply. No question she has big hands (for a woman at least!)

    • @BryanChess99
      @BryanChess99 5 років тому

      @@wendyvank lol yeah i hope we get a tutorial. Ekat pls dont recomment smaller cards as most small cards are expensive and really bad lol.

  • @wendyvank
    @wendyvank 5 років тому

    I can do the charlier cut without a problem (I have small hands so it took a long time). But with this cut once I snap the cards up so that they are on top of each other my fingers aren't long enough to grab the top of the top pack to bring it underneath. Any tips? Whey I try to release the pressure on my thumb hoping the cards will tilt back so that I can grab them they just fall all over the place...

    • @ekatmagic
      @ekatmagic  5 років тому

      don't worry I have more tutorials coming soon that are small hands friendly ;)

    • @wendyvank
      @wendyvank 5 років тому

      @@ekatmagic YAY! When I watch your tutorials I always think - great - one woman doing cardistry tutorials on youtube and she has to have big hands! I know that there have to be tricks to get things to work. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get a good, well defined fan with small hands! I can do it but the cards have to be held in such a way that I can't close the fan with one hand - well not in one movement. It's ugly! I still haven't been able to figure out how to palm a card either without it showing. I can do a tenkai but the angles are ridiculous! My wrists are 2" across - the slightest tilt the wrong way and it's all over! Can't wait to see your videos! Too bad I can't be your demo girl!!!

    • @ekatmagic
      @ekatmagic  5 років тому

      @@wendyvank don't worry about palming ;) think of things you can do because of your hand size instead. For instance, my card splitting is so precise because I have small fingers, etc.

    • @wendyvank
      @wendyvank 5 років тому

      @@ekatmagic I know... but I practice sleight of hand as well (rank amateur at both) and it's really hard to watch all of the amazing sleights using palming. But I can't make my hands grow so I guess I'll just have to accept it.
