You forgot to include the others he *hunted down* while he was missing. Dudes the bestest boy.
Lol 😢
😮❤WOW - WHAT A HERO - HE SHOULD HAVE AN ANIMAL COURAGEOUS MEDAL!!!!!!! HE CERTAINLY OWNED HIS KEEP!!!
😯 What ? I didn't know . Yeah.. he should of added that .
He did not hunt the rest down dumbass he was guarding the sheep to make sure they didn't come back
That's right he did and his owner found him laying by the fence at home.
He was seen at 2 neighbors farms running the coyotes down and heard thru the night.
It was war. The good brave dog won the battles and the war!!!
I love Pyrenees they are so sweet and loyal to their owners
One hell of a loyal dog. A true definition of man's best friend.
Man,dogs is men's best friend but not always(as should be) men are dog best friend.
The sheep would say, “He’s our friend too”!
Straight up savage
He hunted down the last three and killed them before he went back home to be treated. What a boss. Magnificent. Go Casper. You rock
How do you know what the dog did .get out your mother s basement
No visuals? Damn.
@ronaldwesthaver7658 there's a longer video. The coyotes tried to go after his mate that was protecting the sheep along with him. He hunted down the last three coyotes & took them out before he returned. His injuries were discovered after he showed back up at the farm a couple days later. Research "Great Pyrenees Casper kills coyotes to protect his mate."
He was missing because he was hunting down the coyotes that escape. Dogs do that because they know the threat will come back if not eliminated.
😅 fake I knew it
This beautiful fellow deserves a combat metal. He is a warrior protector and deserves to be treated with great respect!
That’s loyalty, take care of him he’s a keeper
😂 he spent 15k fixing him
I'm pretty sure he already knows to take care of him bub
That dog already earned early retirement 😳
Beautiful boy❤❤
Yep
Get him to go after Biden. When he gets better..Good boy...
Now that's a damn good dog
Good DOG😅
For Real
Man’s best friend has more often than not proved that he’s better than a human friend… hats off to the community that values this …
This is why my four closest friends are dogs. One in particular is seldom far from my side. One is constantly with my wife. The other two split their time between us and our son.
They're very protective, 3 are Pit Bulls between 100 lbs and 145 pounds. The fourth is still a growing chocolate lab.
Now thats a real hero ❤
Put a spike collar on him, now you have an invincible guard dog.
The tail?
Oh, yes. No tail.
Put a spike collar plsss
these dogs typically have friends and they play rough. thats why they dont have spike colors, would hurt the other livestock gaurdian dogs
Thx I needed to know that haha
@@danielabecina551You do know Turkish Kangals wear them.
My father's cousin always kept two Great Pyrenees to take care of his sheep. They are great, big, good, boys and girls.
All LGD need no less than one backup, but a team of three is best
I’ve had several and have two right now. They’re deceptive because of their size people do not realize how agile they are!
Was surprised at that breeds ability
@speedgonzalez489 we had two at the ranch Odie and Bessie you're right and they're fast watched the male run down an antelope these dogs were stay at home the were others that stayed with the sheep and never came around the house they were fed in the pasture
@kevimcraig8257 yep. They’re very fast. I play with mine all the time and my female has gotten me a number of times because of her speed. She can keep up with my huskies too in a flat out run which is impressive because she out weighs him by 45 pounds at least! Extremely loyal too. Mine are by my side quite a bit.
Perfect definition of "you should have seen the other guy"
All the other guys😂😂they can't do much but lay there now.😮
That’s a great dog right there. What a great dog.
He's a heroic dog.!!! God Bless You Casper 🕊️🙏🕊️💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Dang,he pulled off a feet that most lions would be proud of ❤
The correct word is “feat.”
Wow, I hope that beautiful brave dog is ok now.
What a warrior dog and lovable pet!!!!! LOYAL and BRAVE
Not a pet, but a brother-in-arms!
Such a good boy. Yes he is.
Any updates on this beautiful family working dog? His eyes say it all - loves his family and livestock ❤🙌
He is no longer a working dog. After his medical care and recovery he immediately became a house dog. This video didn't mention this part but the night it all went down he wasn't guarding the sheep alone. His female great Pyrenees companion was also there with him. Pregnant with his puppies. He got in front of her and the sheep and then got all the coyotes attention and led them away from them. Taking them on all alone to protect his sheep and his Pregnant lady friend.
@@raychapman1134Wow! Thats awesome!.
Much love and respect to Casper. A real hero. And he did not just kill 8, he hunted down the other 3 and killed them too. His owner is a really lucky guy.
Wow, what a beautiful story and I hope he's doing good now. Please give us an update as soon as possible.
PLEASE UPDATE
Most amazing story I have ever heard of the almost unbelievable
details this beautiful dog endured while fighting for the lives of his family’s sheep! I don’t think I have even heard of a man, or men, taking on such a challenge and coming out victorious (though badly injured).
This “Good Boy” deserves so much love and honor for all the rest of his life! I love him so much even though I know I will never have the chance to give him a big hug and a big treat!
HE IS THE BEST ❣️
He's a true warrior and loyalty runs deep in his breathe. He'll never retreat and he never surrendered got to love him❤❤❤
Casper went Rambo on those eight coyotes. Good dog.❤
You are a hero Casper!!!!
The dogs like "dont worry i walked away and most of this blood isnt mine now im going to bed its been a long day"
That dog deserves an award for being a hero and needs to be taken good care of. Love him so much
God bless Casper! I hope he's recovering well and your owner appreciates your loyalty. You're the best! ❤️😘🐕🐾
Send this story to Joe Rogan ASAP!
I have three Great Pyrenees, and they do their jobs well.
Awesome story of the loyalty of man's best friend
Brave dog. I'm sorry Casper got hurt but he did his job. I love you Casper hope you heal.❤
That is a real dog. A real best friend.
Could never tell me a dog doesn't take care of its people people should always take care of their best friend.
Dude HULKED out! Massively impressive
Such a soulful worker. He knew his job and did it well ❤️
Casper, your an awesome canine warrior. Your a blessing to your sheep family and human.
Dear Owner, more dogs please.
They lie down to get their strength back and lick their wounds.
They're very grateful that you took the time to take care of your dog after he took such good care of you thank you for not forgetting him and not forgetting the sacrifices that he's made for you
He was committed to his owner and understood the assignment! He has the heart of a lion! I just wish he had come home sooner !!
Hero ! ! !
Livestock dogs are pack animals, why would the owner put him at a disadvantage and without a spike collar
1. Not once in this story is whether or not he has a spiked collar mentioned he could very well have been wearing one at the time of the incident.
2. He’s making a pack he’s got puppies on the way. Why buy a herd of sheepdogs when you’ve got a litter of of pups on the way. Seems counter intuitive.
Yes, and one more partner at least
Why wasn't the owner helping? There's a video of it.
I saw a different version of the story. Apparently, there was a second dog, but she was pregnant and Casper stood between her and the coyotes.
Also, Casper disappeared for a few extra days and the neighbors heard fights and found the other three coyotes dead. Casper came home after the job was done.
This dog is really special. Upon returning home, Casper told his owner everything that happened.
They are very loyal ❤Good Luck Hero Take Care Be Safe Little buddy
Amazing Tough Guy ! A Dog Angel'
Wow. Good boy Casper, sorry you had to fight those coyotes. I pray you're recovering well now. I don't understand why your owner didn't go and look for you after a few hours. Two days it took him to find you beaten and bruised.? It sounds like you need a more caring, dedicated owner instead of one who takes 2 days to look for you. Poor boy. ❤
agreed... when I seen the BODY PARTS AND BLOOD me and my whatever was left of my good boys would be looking for him
Easy for you people to judge, when you only have a little information, and can't understand what's involved in raising livestock.
This is a working dog,, and the chores don't wait.
I have no doubt that the owner went looking as soon as he possibly could.
Not only was his trusted friend missing, but a very valuable protector was not there.
The dog continued chasing down the last three coyotes, and killed them as well, ending the threat for the foreseeable future.
He easily could have been miles away.
Next time, put down the potato chips, and call the owner, telling him exactly where the dog can be found.
I'm sure he'll appreciate it. He wants his dog, and friend back asap.
@@davidgraham2673you tell em bro 😌 i dont think the owner doesnt care OP but try imagine the scale that could be involved in the mans land especially if for sheep they tend to need plenty pasture land and roam. Their could also be the question of how accessible the land actually is, given that sheep are at home in hills etc, whos to day there isnt thick woodland nearby too given the coyotes had to have territory to call home. People forget what our furry babies were actually domesticated and moulded for. These toy dinky breeds etc. have people confused. Dogs were taken and made for the hunt, for livestock protection, for extra heat and protection within the home and yes companionship but if a dog isnt fulfilling those roles why you got a dog in the first place? At the very baseline i expect my dogs to bark to alert if not preempt and protect themself. That is what a dog is for. Doesnt mean they shouldnt be well cared for neither and most folk who work their dogs take incredible care of their colleagues bar the few who do stupid things...but for the most part, the bond those who work their dogs have with them, even police and military etc is some primal deep thing that some folk just have no clue on tbh then wonder why their housebound german shepherd is chewing the couch in half or worse situations. 😢please people put more research and respect into what a dog is, they are more than licky, tail wagging, four legged kibble eating fur babies and too many forget this when either judging situations like this or when taking on a dog themselves 😮
@@markmcghee3486 , Thank you.
You made my point far better than I did.
People (including myself) judge too quickly, with little to no information.
As the owner of a very high content wolfdog, people are quick to judge me on aspects of how I care for Cheyenne.
What they fail to realize, is that a Wolf is not a dog. There's a reason that lions, and tigers, and bears, are in a circus, but NOT a wolf. They are extremely intelligent, but only listen when it's to their benefit. You don't train a wolf, as much as coerce them into listening.
You must always be the Alpha, or you get a nightmare, ending with the wolf being put down.
As you said, guaranteed the Rancher loves that dog very much, as a trusted member of the family.
In Ranching, and Farming: every family member works hard, and has responsibilities.
That's a hard life, but they all love it; Man and working animals.
@@davidgraham2673 agreed
These dogs are monsters... but relentless. Wonderful dog !
Wow! What a dog so brave and loyal, good boy!
Wow! Casper is quite a hero!!!
So happy that his owner got the funds to get the health care Casper needed. ❤🐕
A Dogs Love And Loyalty Is Priceless !!!
That’s a dog of tremendous courage who took his job seriously😮😅😅😅
That breed is the most loyal dog you will ever see but they are seriously brave and will die for you.
And people wonder why I can’t live without a dog. Their loyalty and commitment are paradigms of hope.
A beautiful dog, worth far more than what his owner paid for him. His owner is lucky indeed! Swift recovery brave warrior!
Thank you! You, as an owner, loved and protected your animals as babies... Your story speaks volumes...
You forgot to mention, he hunted down the last three coyotes and took their lives to ensure the safety of the herd
This loyalty beyond ones expectation its more than many human friends would ever do. Give casper all the love , affection and kindness he deserves for the remainder of his life. ❤
What a brave dog to take on 11 coyotes!! What a hero!!!!❤❤
Now that's what I call bad a** dog protecting his sheep! It's so awesome that the ppl came forward to help Casper getting better!! Bless all of u for helping Casper n his owner!
This dog is a true loyal pet.
The loyalty of a dog.
What a dog. What a friend.
True definition of unconditional love 🙏 God bless this powerful pooch 🙏
One tough puppy. Maybe there's comfort kindness and love that will be his reward.
Casper is a BOSS !!!
Man's best friend really shines when you need them
Mans best friend! Never, ever forget that!
Dogs are absolutely incredibly loyal to whatever their taught and what’s breed into them
What a great good boy..So loyal to his owners and to the job at hand. We don't deserve such loyalty- but so glad they don't know this..❤❤❤
That’s how loving, loyal and brave our best friends the dogs are …!❤❤❤ thank you Lotd for saving his life …🙏🙏🙏 priceless member of the family!!!❤️
Incredible story! Glad Casper received the care he needed
That's loyalty, Wowzie
Casper: "Im not locked in here with you, you are locked in here with me." What a good boy.
What a heart warming story I love my livestock guardian dogs and pray God always protects them
We own a small female Rottweiler. Shes about 50 lbs. She went after 2 coyotes in our neighborhood and had a fierce fight with both. She survived, but was badly injured. The coyotes went after her hind quarters. We still have her. Shes13 years old😊
This breed of dog is amazing, my in-laws used to raise cheep and their dogs will kill and chase predators until they could kill them.
They had collars around their necks with 3 inch nails and they would even protect the sheep against bears yet they were the most gentle dogs specially around kids.
They will protect their sheep and owner until their last breath. Beautiful amazing animals.
Best dog ever Bless his brave little heart.
He's a great dog and needs to be given a 🎖️ a partner to continue to be the sheep protector ‼️🥇🥈🥉🏅🐶🐈🐄🐩🐕🎖️🥩🍖🍔🦴
20 months old his still a puppy. What a heart on this puppy. 🥰😁
Casper wants a haircut and a clean bath.
He's a really good dog 🐕 A super hero 👏 Such loyalty 💗 Proud of him 💕 Love him ❤️
There are Humans, animals and then there are DOGS....
Different, special!
I live on an island where coyotes will kill and eat tourists pets....it is a trajedy....nothing sadder than hearing a dog being killed by coyotes.....God Bless Casper!
That is one BAD MOTOR SCOOTER, This pup deserves the best care possible.
What a beautiful doggie!!! Help him! He loves you and protects you! - Angie
Casper is a badass. Definitely mans best friend.
Casper’s a warrior hound. Being the protector at all costs is never easy, but necessary
Great Pyrenees are tremendous dogs and will fight anything that threatens them or what they are protecting.
Tremendous and loyal dogs.😊
May your dog be blessed and getwell❤❤❤❤❤
That's why I would never have only one dog, let alone protection dog. Two can do so much more damage and protect each other. Being alone is hell of a strain on anyone. This guy is a BOSS.
Coyotes: Hello Mr.Anderson
Dog:🥷🏿🕶️
It’s ridiculous. $15,000. Even healthcare for animals is out of control.
Wow! Casper is an Avenger!
Casper is an absolute unit💙😊.
God bless him for being such a great protector of animals who can’t protect themselves👏🏼💙.
DOG: yeah, I look kinda rough but you owe me that steak!
Never underestimate a dogs willingness to prove loyalties to its owner
And certain people run to safe spaces because life is so hard.
He’s a keeper for sure
Absolute phenomenal protector.❤
Casper was like nah you started it I'm going to finish it
