    I have the NU50 and its nice but not perfect. Come on Nitecore, make the cell removable on the NU series of headlamps. The quick charge is nice but replacing the cell is WAY faster when your on the go and add a lower output of 50lm and this will be the perfect headlamp. 8, 25, "50", 100, 300, 1000 and 1700lm. I really like the red so add a much higher output to it as well so you have 5lm, 10lm and "100lm". You can call the new headlamp the NU60 I own many Nitecore products and love them and my NU50 would have been perfect with a few more lumen settings, removable from the headband with magnetic capability and a replaceable cell. Are there any plans for a newer NU headlamp?

    If it would have a removable 18650 then it would be perfect!

    Thanks for the review. Could you add that run/walk to more reviews and at different levels too? I like that view to show the beam practicality.

    So I can swap out batteries or not? Having a welded in battery is useless!

    Quite misleading when you claim an 8h runtime on 1000lm but it dips down to 400lm or so within minutes and then that's what you get for the rest of the duration. Same for the HC65 UHE, all these recent high lumen ratings are purely a marketing gimmick and not what the consumer gets.

      30 seconds i believe, so you have to go digging to find out the lumens/throw for high as the advertised stats are for turbo mode.

      From the included brochure there is a runtime chart. Basically if the user sets, and leaves it at high, the lumens drop in the first hour from 1000 to around 400. For the remaining 7 hours left on high, the lamp is only outputting 400 lumens. This is very deceiving for buyers who haven't seen the manual. I used to like Nitecore products but these new runtimes are straight up LIES.

    I have no desire to buy lamps that have non-removable batteries or that require special accessories even if they are removable, because the lifespan of the battery is directly linked to the lifespan of the product itself.

    Was ist die STABILE Leistung? Gibt es mindestens 450lm?

    Looks very promising, however the UI is neither very practical, nor intuitive. Almost a dealbreaker for me. Long press to turn on is annoyingly slow, or stuff like different click types to get to low red and low white and having to change the switch to cylce through red. I want instant on (memory), instant low, instant red and instant turbo from off. I would really appreciate if Nitecore would offer a fully customisable UI or at least stick to a more industry standard UI based on Anduril 1.

    Not sure why nightcore uses decimals with inches. Supposed to use fractions. Decimals are for metric.

      Imperial measurements and their associated fractions are for mouth breathing Americans. No one in the civilised world (ie the rest of the world) cares about your distaste for the decimal point.

    • @NitecoreStore
      @NitecoreStore  2 місяці тому +1

      Inches can have decimals. In the imperial system, inches are commonly divided into smaller units, such as fractions or decimals, to represent precise measurements. For example, 1.5 inches represents one and a half inches, and 2.75 inches represents two and three-quarters inches. Decimals are often used in engineering, construction, and other fields where precise measurements are required.

      You can use decimals for inches but people are less likely to understand what the decimal represents since inches is not a base 10 system. They were meant to use fractions.
