Hello everyone, this was a monster to edit... I had no idea what I was getting myself into, haha! So much to talk about here, from Tim talking about reaction channels, to talking about Austin Brown's departure, but to sum it up, it was an amazing show, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Tim is great at mentioning a song and following up with they aren't going to sing the song. Yes, Austin is moving on to send time at home with his wife. Austin and his amazing voice will be missed.
Thank you so much for the taste of what I'm seeing in about two weeks. This will be concert #5 for me since I discovered them a bit over two years ago. This will be the last one for probably a year or so; other expenses have popped up lately.) I'm really lookin forward to talking to the guys again and congratulating him on his marriage. I just wonder if he'll remember me since most of the blue is gone from my hair. (Not the only reason I stood out in the meetups.) I'll also pass on my love and appreciation to Kristin Denehy again. I'm counting the days.

Glad you got to see them live. Yeah I saw them in Denver a couple of years ago. I sat in the mezzanine and thought oh I won’t hear Tim as well. Au contraire, he was amazing and his voice goes through you. I notice Adam’s voice goes through you too. Enjoy the ride!!!

I appreciate how open and encouraging they are of their fans and the reaction channels - in fact I was shocked to hear that they actively encourage videos and photographs during their shows, and don't mind people posting them online! (To be fair, a phone recording can never replicate their sound or Tim's earthquakes, so videos are no competition to the real deal :)
Absolutely, and I didn't know this until after the concert. When I first went in, there were 2 ushers to my left, about 3 feet away and a security guard about 5 feet in front of me. I saw one of the ushers tell 2 people they couldn't video, or something to that effect, I couldn't hear what he told this one fan, but she had her phone up, obviously recording and he walked over to her, said something and she put her phone down. Saw that happen twice. Then, about 2 songs into the concert, I noticed all the ushers were gone. So I don't know if HF had their crew tell them it's ok to video or what. There were no signs saying no video or photos, so I really didn't know what to do. But after Tim said what he did about reaction channels and how they loved them. I took video with the hopes of using that as a defense if they told me to stop. But no one ever did. I'm working on another video, where I talk about things like this, and what I would do differently at my next HF concert. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing! I found HF through reaction channels. I can’t believe you got the Billie Jean drum solo. Every version he does is amazing, but I need to hear that part live!! I loved how much they interact with the audience. I was up close & every time I got up to dance I got a grin or a point from one of the guys. I went home in disbelief. They. Saw. Me. Now I know that’s how they truly are.
Thank you! I did include the Billie Jean solo, but if you notice, I left out the part where he moon walks, haha, didn't want to give away the whole store... As far as crowd interaction they are great, I think they were a little disappointed by the lack of crowd involvement at the concert I went to, like they wanted more people standing, singing, dancing and all. I have a video I'm working on where I talk about things I've learned or will do differently for my next Home Free concert.
Thanks so much Eric, so glad you enjoyed seeing them live. They truly are great, I have bad hearing amongst other on going problems but seeing them live and no intrusive loud music I was able to hear and understand all lyrics.
I'm so happy that you had a good time! I'm also glad that rather than spend all your time videotaping that you could be in the moment & enjoy the concert! He's such a great story teller with terrific comic timing.
Home Free is my favorite group. Tim is awesome with his bass. Austin is awesome high tenor. The harmonies are great. Adam Rupp is my favorite beatboxer. Adam did great. Thank you for showing this.
I was at this show 3rd Row. "That lady over there" is what Tim called me because I was the only one dancing at the time. Very embarrassing. lol. Thank you for reacting to Home Free. Wish we could have met while you were there.
Hey that's awesome! I remember that exactly, he said it when he was talking about it being a party and to get up and dance. I have a video I'm working on that I address some takeaways and things I would do differently for my next Home Free concert, one of the things I want to tell Home Fries about to go to their first Home Free concert is they, Home Free, was practically begging for more crowd participation, singing, dancing, videoing, taking pictures, holler out to them on stage... Every time Tim made a remark like that, which was several times, I just looked around and saw everyone, but you of course, haha, sitting down. And I was thinking, come on people, let's get up and have a party, but I was guilty too of being too bashful. I will not make that mistake at another Home Free concert. Anyway, just thought I'd say I do remember you, because I remember thinking to myself, I wish I had that kind of courage! A missed meeting for sure, maybe next time! Trust me, you would have not ruined anyone's HF experience if you'd posted the entire concert! Just whets the appetite for more HF! I saw them for the 3rd time 2.5 weeks ago, but they didn't sing Skull And Bones, dang it!
Haha, I'm sure people wouldn't mind for sure, but Home Free might think otherwise haha! I'm glad it left you wanting more, that was the intent of my video, so I'm glad that came across. I was absolutely amazing one of my favorite concert for sure. Even though I felt so stupid after we left. I was feeling star struck and said some dumb things.

These guys are fantastic. 💖💖💖💖💖💖 I agree with you , Tims lowest tone on some of the songs are incredibble. And the groups harmony is amazing. Never forget when I saw them live in Stockholm last year. I hope they come back here soon.

I'm going again this fall only this time, I have the VIP package . I'm so excited I can hardly wait. My first love of this group was when I discovered Austin on his solo channel. So even though I'm so very sad at his leaving the group, I realize how blessed I am to be able to have this last chance to see him. So glad you were able to experience them live. So glad you had a great time Eric! I have seen HF twice when they toured Europe and both times were absolute blasts! I mean, literally, blasts because Tim's low notes were bone-rattling! I do so agree that Adam Rupp is a total machine! I do like reaction channels (lol at Tim... he is just hilarious) but I subscribe to few (yours is one of them). I saw a reaction recently where the reactor posited that Adam was the best of all the beatboxers out there, whilst taking nothing away from Layne or Kevin. So yeah, he is genuinely a master of his art;
@TCBEric Yes. CF Reacts. He is the brand manager for the a capella group The Bass Gang, another group to react to. Four bass singers with insane ranges. They did a collab with Tim Foust, singing Hooked On A Feeling (BJ Thomas), which is really good!
I think you did a great job of getting just the right amount of video footage. Thank you for doing that for us, especially for those that haven't seen their concert yet. Your cat coughing up a furball was too much. 😂😂😂
I've been 3 times, last one was last April in Ft Meyers, FL, and it was AMAZING. Tim is always awesome, but getting the chance to speak to Chance, a fellow Miami Dolphins fan was my highlight. It might have been brief, but it was so much fun. Well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from my house here in Miami.

Awesome reaction so glad you got to see Home Free, wish I could see them on this tour but they’re not gonna be close to me this time around. I’ve seen them 3 times shortly after the sing off and would see them more if I could. Wish they had a stop in southern Wisconsin.

Well, I have to tell you I was at this show and it was 100% phenomenal! This was our 9th show (it would have been 10, but we were sick for one year before last). Those Home Fries in previous comments about seeing them live over and over is correct! I was hooked from the first show back in 2014. As you’ve seen, they are very entertaining, incredibly and tremendously talented, and genuinely great guys! We were front row, middle section, far left seats. The first time we saw them, I didn’t know about ViP, but the following year we started buying them. I’m spoiled now and I’m glad I decided to buy them for this show because we didn’t know then that this would be Austin’s last tour with them. It’s worth every penny. I enjoyed seeing this footage. I try not to take too many photos or videos because I want to live in the moment, but at times later on I wish I had taken more. Not getting any younger and that’s probably the only way I’ll remember 15 to 20 years from now. Lol
Thank you! It was an awesome show, you can tell me how it compares to the other 8 times you've seen them, as I've only went to the 1. I'm always torn between taking video and pictures and just enjoying the show. I tried to do both here. I do have a question, that a veteran concert goer like yourself could answer. It seemed to me, that Home Free, via Tim, wanted more participation from the audience, more singing, more standing up, more dancing, more yelling and stuff and every time I looked around, with the exception of a few people, everyone was just kind of sitting, and not doing much. I noticed when someone would holler something out, they would respond, with words, or a look and a smile or pointing or something. To me, they wanted a party atmosphere and just wasn't getting it from the majority of the crowd, so here is my question. Were we part of a more chill crowd than they are used to, or is this pretty standard for every concert? Do they normally get more crowd interaction at other shows you've been to? Thank you in advance!
@@TCBEric I know they do feed off of the crowd energy and really do love it when the crowd gets roudy (of course, it depends on the song). We were at the show there last year and the crowd was a bit more rowdier (like Tim said this show about last year, it was Mardi Gras time. I think it was either a day or two before Mardi Gras). I thought the crowd was pretty receptive from where we were, but we were front row. When Tim invited us in the front row and anyone else who wanted to, to come up to the stage, my husband and I both complied. After a song or two, I could tell my husband was tired. He has back issues so he sat down back in his seat. Anyway, you do whatever is comfortable for you, whether it’s clapping, singing along, or stand up and sing or shout at the op of your lungs, do it. Hope that helps. Me, I was hooting and cheering them on! Of course, I don’t want to blow out anyone else’s ear drums so I put my hands on the side of my mouth. lol
You know, Tim started saying, ok everyone in the front row come up to the stage, second row come on up, then I never heard him go any further. I wished I had heard him say anyone else that wants to come up can come up because I sure would have. I looked around and it seemed like only the first 2 rows were up there. I was in the 6th row over all, but if I'm not mistaken the rows past 2 are curved, I was almost all the way on the end of the 6th row, but because of the curve of the row, I was even with what would have been the 3rd row had it continued out. I did manage to ease up to the stage after Sea Shanty Medley, hoping they would come back out. And looking back at my pictures, I see the 2 pages that, that night's concert was on, was still taped to the edge of the stage, I wish I would have grabbed them! Haha, souvenir and all... Next time for sure... Haha...
@@TCBEric I saw them, but was just out of reach as the not wanting to be rude and reach in front of people to grab them. Then a road crew, or venue guy walked up and saw me looking at them. He offered them to me so I reached and grabbed them l. Then suddenly a woman reached out and grabbed one from me and said someone had asked for them. I thought it was odd since I didn’t see anyone that could have been approached until that moment. She thought she was being kind by letting keep one. I think she just wanted one for herself. Anyway, I have one half of the set list. It’s all good. I wouldn’t ever fight anyone over anything.
Yeah, I can see what you're saying... Although, the thought of asking for them never really crossed my mind, haha... They were within reach and unguarded...! Haha!

It might have been brief, but it was so much fun. Well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from my house here in Miami.

Awesome reaction so glad you got to see Home Free, wish I could see them on this tour but they’re not gonna be close to me this time around. I’ve seen them 3 times shortly after the sing off and would see them more if I could. Wish they had a stop in southern Wisconsin.
Wow 3 times! That's awesome! Hopefully they will come my way again next tour. If I recall, I don't think Biloxi was originally on the tour, but after Austin Brown's departure announcement I think it was one of the ones they added. In any case I'm glad I was able to go, I feel very blessed. Thanks!
Well, I have to tell you I was at this show and it was 100% phenomenal! This was our 9th show (it would have been 10, but we were sick for one year before last). Those Home Fries in previous comments about seeing them live over and over is correct! I was hooked from the first show back in 2014. As you’ve seen, they are very entertaining, incredibly and tremendously talented, and genuinely great guys! We were front row, middle section, far left seats. The first time we saw them, I didn’t know about ViP, but the following year we started buying them. I’m spoiled now and I’m glad I decided to buy them for this show because we didn’t know then that this would be Austin’s last tour with them. It’s worth every penny. I enjoyed seeing this footage. I try not to take too many photos or videos because I want to live in the moment, but at times later on I wish I had taken more. Not getting any younger and that’s probably the only way I’ll remember 15 to 20 years from now. Lol
Thank you! It was an awesome show, you can tell me how it compares to the other 8 times you've seen them, as I've only went to the 1. I'm always torn between taking video and pictures and just enjoying the show. I tried to do both here. I do have a question, that a veteran concert goer like yourself could answer. It seemed to me, that Home Free, via Tim, wanted more participation from the audience, more singing, more standing up, more dancing, more yelling and stuff and every time I looked around, with the exception of a few people, everyone was just kind of sitting, and not doing much. I noticed when someone would holler something out, they would respond, with words, or a look and a smile or pointing or something. To me, they wanted a party atmosphere and just wasn't getting it from the majority of the crowd, so here is my question. Were we part of a more chill crowd than they are used to, or is this pretty standard for every concert? Do they normally get more crowd interaction at other shows you've been to? Thank you in advance!
@@TCBEric I know they do feed off of the crowd energy and really do love it when the crowd gets roudy (of course, it depends on the song). We were at the show there last year and the crowd was a bit more rowdier (like Tim said this show about last year, it was Mardi Gras time. I think it was either a day or two before Mardi Gras). I thought the crowd was pretty receptive from where we were, but we were front row. When Tim invited us in the front row and anyone else who wanted to, to come up to the stage, my husband and I both complied. After a song or two, I could tell my husband was tired. He has back issues so he sat down back in his seat. Anyway, you do whatever is comfortable for you, whether it’s clapping, singing along, or stand up and sing or shout at the op of your lungs, do it. Hope that helps. Me, I was hooting and cheering them on! Of course, I don’t want to blow out anyone else’s ear drums so I put my hands on the side of my mouth. lol
You know, Tim started saying, ok everyone in the front row come up to the stage, second row come on up, then I never heard him go any further. I wished I had heard him say anyone else that wants to come up can come up because I sure would have. I looked around and it seemed like only the first 2 rows were up there. I was in the 6th row over all, but if I'm not mistaken the rows past 2 are curved, I was almost all the way on the end of the 6th row, but because of the curve of the row, I was even with what would have been the 3rd row had it continued out. I did manage to ease up to the stage after Sea Shanty Medley, hoping they would come back out. And looking back at my pictures, I see the 2 pages that, that night's concert was on, was still taped to the edge of the stage, I wish I would have grabbed them! Haha, souvenir and all... Next time for sure... Haha...
@@TCBEric I saw them, but was just out of reach as the not wanting to be rude and reach in front of people to grab them. Then a road crew, or venue guy walked up and saw me looking at them. He offered them to me so I reached and grabbed them l. Then suddenly a woman reached out and grabbed one from me and said someone had asked for them. I thought it was odd since I didn’t see anyone that could have been approached until that moment. She thought she was being kind by letting keep one. I think she just wanted one for herself. Anyway, I have one half of the set list. It’s all good. I wouldn’t ever fight anyone over anything.
Yeah, I can see what you're saying... Although, the thought of asking for them never really crossed my mind, haha... They were within reach and unguarded...! Haha!
