"Why should you take the Thunder seriously?"
Reason number one and which I think the most important is that this team is so unselfish. Secondly, they legitimately like each other and not just on the basketball court. Thirdly, they are very well coached. Fourthly, the maturity levels of the players at their age is remarkable. Lastly, Sam "I Am" Presti has eye for talent and vision of the future!
    Roaring Thunder ❤

I cant wrap my head around how people underestimated this team.
Pre season i predicted 50 to 57, 4 seed or better, 2nd rd or better. And quite a few people agreed, most didnt.
But it seemed very obvious IMO, that a +10 wins was more than acceptable and probably on the low end.
If we just considered what we would most likeky consider average improvements we'd see from such young players, chemistry improvements and improvements from a very overlooked and underrated coaching staff, +8 to +12, is a more than acceptable improvement range.
And we have yet to even consider the addition of Chet and how he fundamentally changes what teams are successful at doing to OKC.
I dunno man..... i feel it was harder to not see this one coming.

I’m a huge OKC fan. I literally just bought a Thunder blue truck today 😂 and I pegged us as about the 6th seed

To small. Talented sure but bigger teams are going to give them fits. They aren't good at rebounding. A team like the Lakers would beat them in 7 games. Not because they don't have more talent. The Lakers best players are big. The Bucks will beat them to death. They keep draft talented players, but they are small players. Chet is tall but not big. Chet is not a good rebounder being he's 7 1. Drumond type player would make OKC scary. Rebound the hell out of the ball and has size. And he doesn't need the ball. So, he fills a huge need plus he fits. There's only 1 ball. Having another player needing the ball doesn't fit. Having someone cleaning the glass at 13+ a game is a huge need.

Drummond is one dimensional, I think Presti is scouting the college rank for a player that he can plug on the weakness of the team.
