      I hate it too but it's going to happen. Just accept it and follow through with research and a concrete solution

      It's perfectly okay to say you're new (if you really are) and to say you need to look up the answer, consult with a colleague, or check the knowledge base. Most people will be fine with that. Of course, there will be an occasional person who doesn't like that, but you must still maintain an air of friendly professionalism, especially with challenging end users. As always, think about what you would want if you were in their position. Remember, at all times, you're the voice of your company to your customers. Good luck! :)
