The BE Album came out at the end of 2020. Life Goes On is a pandemic song. Having your normality changed and knowing that eventually, like always, life does go on.
2 things stood out for me in the Life goes on video. 1- when V turns his head to look at the Seoul Olympic Stadium (where they were to hold their canceled concert). His expression told the story. 2- when Namjoon touches his dusty bike seat. Since he does not have a driver’s license, he bikes a lot (and enjoys it so much that Jin bought him a bike). So the fact that he was missing his biking around (due to the pandemic ), I found it sad. The rest of the video was great too, but those 2 things stood out for me. Thanks to JK for directing it.
A year before, the finale LYS concert was held there and I was among those who won the raffle to attend it. I still haven't gone back to SK yet. They really filled our days during those years. Every time seeing V looking at the stadium... everything will come back.
You see V driving, then looking at the empty stadium they were supposed to have a concert at... but it had been cancelled because of the pandemic. Such a genuine song and MV.... Love it ! 💜
@justpat2316 Their entire 2020 World Tour had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. I had tickets to their concert in Atlanta. We held on to our tickets hoping the dates would be rescheduled but there was no way to recover after so much time had passed. They later revealed how devastating that World Tour cancelation was to them.
Like the others have said - BTS delivered to everyone the beautul album in the midst of COVID. So most of the music is a message to Army to not to despair. This is their first album where they did everything by themselves from concept, scheduling, choosing songs, album design and promotion. V pressed that Jk be the one to direct the MV of Life Goes On. Yhere's a video of that in Bangtan Bombs and other behind videos of the album. Love that whole album!
Being their pandemic album I am pretty sure they said if you listen to the tracks in order they tell a story. I actually love STAY, the last song on BE, written by JK. A very underrated track that not many people react to. I think it is an amazing dance track.💜
I cried all over again knowing about the song. The pandemic was one of the hardest times of my life. It seem like when this came out BTS was giving me a hug saying it's going to be alright. And it was.

BE is a cute álbum in a Way? like the songs are chile and nice and happy.. bts gave us Life goes on and be as a gift for us to feel happy even in horrible times like covid 19. They said it was the album that is MOST like their real selves (at the time). If you do the album, I'd love to see you react to the BE interviews they did - they paired off and interviewed each other.
Jks directorial debut. He gave it such a soft feel. Only RM can’t drive he said even his dad doesn’t want him to drive. So Rm is our public transportation, personal driver, or biking places guy. I’m suuuch a homebody. Introverts unite (at home away from each other)! 😂
