Tomorrow is track day!!! I actually have 4 more videos recorded of garage things and the BRP trip, just have to sit down and edit them, track prep took precedence!

    Happy birthday and happy trackday.
I like the Enduristan stuff, but do wish they had better mounting systems for ease of use.
We have lots of nature around me, I am quite lucky in that respect 🙂

Thank you amigo. It was a very happy track day indeed :)
Yeah, the mount worked really really well on the Vstrom, but the need for something to tie off that excess strap is needed and then on the Z900RS, functional but way too fiddly imo.
      You are indeed!!

Tail bag looks good. I have a smaller (cheaper) version for my limited needs and convenience. It looks OK and is mighty useful. Same as yourself, I'd like to understand the real reasons for not keeping EVs (bike or car). I think I understand limitations, etc, but would like to hear it from the horses mouth, so to speak. OC - my area (Lincolnshire UK) has a great combination of countryside and coast. Agricultural (which hopefully means it will remain so), nature reserves, etc, and low population make it a grand place to live. Cheers, Andy.

Haha I overspent tbh, it was a last minute spur of the moment buy, which I normally don't do so I am glad it worked out :)
Exactly, I like to talk to anyone on their bikes and why they keep/sell them!
Yeah, I think as a global population we can't lose sight of keeping places actually pleasant to live, people have to live places of course and work places, but we need to set aside plenty of green and beauty spots.

I think you hit the nail on the head with the electric vehicles. They pushed it way too hard without really assessing the market. The very same thing happened with Virtual Reality in the video game industry. They hyped the hell out of it for years, and it was more or less DOA.

That's it really, I mean I get that we need to diversify how we transport ourselves around, but it was handled so so poorly imo. Yeah, which is really sad in a way, if I could have a multidirectional treadmill and a headset to walk around skyrim I'd be the fittest man alive.

Very nice tail bag and it seems like just the right size. I'll keep it in mind if I need one.

It's honestly been essentially perfect for a tail bag, it'd be very nice on your bike too as it's not gaudy or anything on retro-y bikes

@@TheGorillaBiker Heh, still gotta put my rear rack on. I'm lazy and work is an evil octopus trying to pull me under the waves.

I still can't get in step with the world today. Time was I would go down to Gerry's if I wanted something bike related. If he didn't have what I wanted he would get it within a week, often offering choices. Now even here where there are so many bike related shops I find myself ordering online. The whole electric thing was and is confused. If they really want us to use electric vehicles they need to commit to the infrastructure. My impression is that manufacturers have talked to governments and said that to be honest it's a dead end and so governments pay lip service till something like hydrogen is up and running properly. It would be a better fit with the current fuel distribution and vehicle maintenance infrastructure.
A tiny issue is with the labelling. I think electric vehicles, two, three and four wheeled have a place, but not cars, or motorbikes as such. Post WW2 there were a lot of electric vehicles on the roads of the UK. Milk floats, Trolley buses/trams, and a lot of electric delivery vehicles. The latter were used in the urban setting. We threw all that away ?
The Wuling Air, which looks like the Lego Movie car is a very common sight on the streets of Surabaya. This Chinese electric vehicle looks perfect for the urban environment and lifestyle.
Another thought provoker on many levels. Thank you.

Sorry not sure how I missed this one!
I miss good brick and mortar stores tbh, even the bike shops that are around now rarely have much gear in stock and even less bikes, which really makes me sad as I love just wandering through bike shops dreaming. I actually really dislike ordering online, I recently had to return a jacket to Revzilla that didn't fit and it was such an ordeal I probably won't bother again.
That's very possible, I'd love to have a lot more transparency on the push for electric. For an A to B commuter in a city, fine, but otherwise they really don't make a lick of sense, ESPECIALLY if you're not wealthy as they cost a lot. Hydrogen is a mega challenging one. I don't see it being mass adopted any time soon either.
I think the ones that make sense aren't affordable. I follow a few people who have the Rivian R1T and that looks like something I would actually be able to use for commuting and towing a bike etc. But it costs $75,000!!!!!!! I mean that is just so far beyond anything I would ever consider spending on a car it may as well not exist. That for me is the issue, the ones people can afford are largely pointless as cars. The motorcycles.....too expensive I'd buy a used Honda Cb or something. People shouldn't be regulated in to buying things that literally don't make any financial sense to them.
      Thanks for the comment :)
