That is reality. I've done the exact same thing, same amounts, and have lost 25k a night. Then another night comes and you hit 50k or more jackpot. One year I had 1.1 million in W2G's. the net was only 75k plus. Now I have scaled it back to playing with 10k a year just for fun.
Can I ask you a question about all of those W2G's? I have been looking for an answer to this question on the internet but cannot find an answer. Did you (or your accountant) have to input each of these W2G's individually when you did your taxes, or were you able to just give the lump sum total of the stack? I cannot imagine having to enter all those individually. Thanks for your response!
Same here. Just did my 2021 taxes and I had $970k in W2G's with a loss of $87k. Been gambling for 5 years and only playing video poker. All 5 years I lost, could of won in 2020, I was up $120k but ended up putting it all back and more.
Going to vegas in 45 days and the entire bankroll im taking will be around 6k, good to know i could dust that off in like 5 minutes, good reality check wowza
Just now flying out of Vegas as we speak. Took a beating first few days. Last night I tried a few $100 coin ($500 bet) hits and on the 4th on got 4 aces dealt. Too bad I was playing JOB. Took my $12500 and ran out of the HL room. Anything is possible!
Better luck next time. Not a huge deal, but @ 4:05 you held a king when you had 3 to a str flush with one gap. The latter is a better hold. With one or no gaps you hold the st flush draw. 2 gaps you hold the high card.
LOL thats what i was thinkin, i fast forward and saw his tilt read 5grand from 2300 then i saw in video he just reloaded, 1 or 2 winning years doesnt mean forever win =/
huge reality check, for those of us who play, a session like this straight down happens more often than we like. but we pick ourselves up and try it again, no guarantee of hitting awesome paying hands, you can only hit wtf you draw for. when you run out of betting money, you reload and try again. this looked like normal hands on any session, ty andrew for showing a losing session.

This is my choice of games also... line of thought. Getting x2 with two pair is huge. That’s your most common hit. It also gives you multi “cash out” 4 of a kind hits. 2,3,4 and obviously Aces are walk away hands. You can’t play for the Royal only all the time. Yes, other games have better flush and full house payouts... but they don’t hit enough to justify it. you’ll play longer and have more chances for a good hit with this pay table.
I would have moved machines after that dismal start. You were throwing money away. I won $4k on nickel 4 Way Keno at the South Point last week. Lets see some better play out of you next month by holding same suited aces and tens. Remember?

Doesn’t matter. You have to hit the draw button at the right time. It’s all luck. Strategy my ass.
