First thing that comes to mind is when the Leader doesn't move out of the slot in this underarm turn, and sends the Follow back. I like this redirect, as it's visually exciting, uses that "send-out," and takes the Leader out of the slot.

Yep. You're tight on! It's a right side redirect. I call it a variation of a right side pass or under arm turn. You've got a good understanding of it! -B

I learned the same move with a duck on the redirect.
I think the footwork is the same for the leaders

I m looking for the name of a pattern that I have learned this week-end but unfortunatly, my dance teacher is not really able to give me the name of this pattern ! (he is french). He just say me : it s a side pattern from face (or back) with a cross....😅
The beginning of the Pattern is close of this vidéo, but after 2:48, the follower don' t stop to walk ans turn. The leader and follower change their hands (Right hand of the leader take left hand of the follower), then the leader cross their legs (left legs cross right legs) . Then the dancer uncross their legs and "pull" the follower who turn .
It s a 6 courts pattern
I hope it s clear...
If yes, do you know the name.of this pattern ? (Because I would like see your own demonstration. Very good help for me).
