This song is so reflective. Listening to it makes me think of past times and experiences, and the special people who have come in and out of my life. It's an amazing song.
Been listening to this since the mid 00s. I recall their being a "tour footage" type music video. The other artist on this album, Maserati, I saw live in Tucson back in 2009 with MONO. I believe the drummer passed away the next week or something :/
It took me forever to figure out the band and song from here and now. I finally had Shazam running and it caught it. I was kind of guessing it was Explosions in the Sky.
Longmont Potion Castle brought me here. The title of this song is a hilarious reference to a piece of phone work done by the aforementioned artist called "Gomez." What makes it funnier is that the tone of that call (and LPC in general) doesn't match the tone of this song at all.

RIP Lu Phelps. God bless. You touched a lot of lives with your kindness and generosity.
Cool song! Too bad it's not on iTunes, because I'd really like to download it.
Yea I don't see it on Deezer or Spotify either! The only place I've found this amazing song is here
Thumbs up!
This song is genius.
This is such a cool song.
I’ve been looking for this for so long😭 I’ve finally find this :)
For years npr used this for their show Here and Now and I always wanted to know who performed it. Great tune!!!
My teacher played this in class today while we worked and I enjoyed it so much that I asked him “who plays this?”
may I ask what class? That sounds like a cool teacher right there

SO GLAD I FOUND THIS SONG FROM NPR.
Nice musical piece.
Wish this song was on Apple Music, my fav mercury program song by far
I like it.
So glad "Here and Now" uses this as their theme song.
That's what brought me here! Awesome

Loved this track growing up
love the cover for the song
They don’t make great music like this anymore.
Very rare, but some people still do.
Thats the definition of an empty platitude.
They do. Post-rock like this still exists - this song is fantastic, don't get me wrong. Lymbyc Systym is probably up your alley too
I've seen The Mercury Program twice in concert and, like everyone here, I'm stoked that "Here and Now" uses this song as their theme song.
Still dreaming to see them live, if that ever happens.
@@RoamingFlowerYou never know but I wouldn’t hold my breath! I think they last played out in 2019. If travel FAR to see them.
This isn't on Spotify anymore 🙁
Imho one of the best pieces this band produced so far. Love it.
seeing this band live + two hits of acid = very good time.
Among the hallowed ranks of NPR bands
HEY, ITS ME AGAIN, CAN WE ADD THIS SONG TO APPLE MUSIC OR SPOTIFY OR ANYTHING PLEASE!?
If you like this band look up IF THESE TREES COULD TALK or OUTRUN THE SUNLIGHT

Solid song and band. They remind me a lot of Tristeza.
I love this song! But why can't I find it on Spotify or Deezer?? 😭
The video for this song was so nice... Can't find it anywhere now
Was just commenting this. Was really nice footage of the band. It used to be on here
WHERE MY NPR LISTENERS AT!?!?!? YEAHHHHH BOIIIIIIII
"I'm Scott Tong in Washington" "And I'm Robin Young in Boston"
Hey dudes, been a while, still a banger. I’ve come to accept it may never be on a music streaming platform but that’s okay 😊
The overlap between NPR listeners and TMP listeners is astonishing.
