    when I was reading the wingfeather saga book, I focused more on the cover art drawn by Nickolas Kole than the actual story. That is how much I loved his art, now I am a fan of him. Thanks for the tutorial, it helped me very much. But I had trouble hearing him. other than that, this is great!!!

    Amazing stuff. I would benefit from a bit more explaining around what you are doing with the layers. Can see the layers flashing blue and having checks on them etc. Am new to digital so just trying to work out how u are building and ordering the layers

    You are a really good teacher. You make it look easy and break it down into easy to follow steps... but damn it still isn't easy to replicate.

    This is such a fantastic look at how to approach color and build up color complexity! I really enjoyed it. I would really love a tutorial on how you approach shape and designing in terms of shape. I absolutely adore your work and look forward to more videos!!

    This is a fantastic tutorial. Too often artist post stuff about their artwork, but DON’T explain enough about the methods of how they achieve their art. (i.e.: Explanations of Brushes, Effects, Colouring, Layering.) The most annoying of all are those stupid speed timelines that race through anything of any benefit and result in teaching us NOTHING. Would it possible to produce an in-depth tutorial of colouring and effects but in Photoshop? Many thanks.👍

    18:00 you mean alpha lock? If you lock a layer you wouldn't be able to paint on it afaik?

    • @nicholaskole133
      @nicholaskole133  4 роки тому

      Try it out- two-finger swipe to the right and you have locked he pixels and can paint within them
