Persian Qashqai nomadic tribal rug in bold design with rich colours 307612

This rug will have been made in southwest Iran, although Persian is still used for the rug trade. We expect Kashgai rugs (the Iranian term) to be made by the last genuinely nomadic people of the region. The Qashqai tribal confederation consists of five major tribes.
