Graham. I found myself outside a church in the south of England, whilst on LSD, in my early twenties.Looking up at the huge, wooden crucifix on the lawn outside, a voice as clear as day came into my head, and stated: "THIS IS WHAT WE DO TO REVOLUTIONARIES!"...I find yr ideas extremely comforting, in a world that can sometimes make me extremely anxious. Thank you. M.E.

Great interview. She gave him time to talk and she didn't interrupt. She showed that she was actively listening. He was very poised in her presence which is hard to do when a women as attractive as she is. Graham is leading the charge because he is able to articulate his experiences so well and compare them to ancient history and modern science.

Graham Hancock has been to Rythmia and has done Ayahuasca! and so have I! I went to Rythmia last month in May, after my research in Ayahuasca. I have exhausted every path to tring to find completeness in Spiritualism from 2006 and never felt it. Money on workshops, therapists, yoga, meditation, courses, fighting depression and anxiety, with unknown PTSD. Just co-payments could have paid for my trip! I find Ryrthmia through the Reality of Truth film. I find Rythmia, and Gerard Armond Powell. Mrs. Moons Medicine, EPIC !!! 2 years later, I meet "My" maker, yes for me She is my maker, Ayahuasca! She gave me the Complete Spiritual Path for a Forever Happy Life. With her mysterious ways, made my life complete! I Salute you Rythmia! I Thank you Gerard Powell and Brandee Powell. I have a new found respect for Shamanism, the Ancient Keepers of Wisdom. I am so grateful that I got a miracle and to have the communion of it all at Rythmia. I am so Damn Blessed. Thank You! Love all my Rythmia Family!~

Great talk. I've not taken Ayahuasca yet, but I did have an experience that let me know a lot of this. I still he a lot of work to do, I still can't say I've been any kind of positive influence on the world or even the people around me. To me that old Star Trek philosophy still holds true, that we help others by helping ourselves, that we change the world for the better by improving ourselves. Might seem a bit selfish, but that's where I'm at in my journey right now. I really hope I can one day be a good influence on others, and that's why I'll go through with taking Ayahuasca. Honestly, it scares the crap out of me, but my previous experience (not drug indused) has let me come to terms with death, if I die it's not a big deal, just the cycle continuing. I don't think I'll die, but the possibility is there, and it's one I'm willing to accept for the greater good. Best wishes to all who decides to go this path, may the universe be with you.

As a woman, I can completely tell she's attracted to Graham Hancock. Watching this video, we're all seeing a woman that's wanting to be noticed by Graham. Parroting is a flirtatious means of getting attention, showing commonality, and is a damned unfortunate distraction to what would've otherwise been a very informative interview.
Her torso faces him... blouse buttoned low... head is constantly tilted to the side, and frequent hair flips ( female way of flirting). As the interview proceeds watch those knees of hers. It's hilarious! More and more of Graham's side of the couch gets taken-up by her knees (check 20 minutes into the interview).
She wants ya, Graham! It'd be interesting to know if he realized that during the interview? He seems so humble, and he's so absorbed by the passion of the topic. He probably didn't notice, but I bet his wife did! lol

I love Graham Hancock what he thinks & where he's coming from. One thing that amazes me however, is how even in alternative ways of thinking, it is believed that man thinks with his brain although there is no scientific evidence which proves that cognitive processes (thought) happen in the brain. This would be a materialistic view of a spiritual phenomenon. This fact renders a field like psychology obsolete.

dear Graham and Sonia as you can see from the negative comments you are speaking truths that some will just choke on, some will find anything they can to criticize - to try and bring you down, It is easy to critique from anonymity much harder to actually write books that people want to read & do interviews to watch etc. well done both of you

Reading Supernatural right now. Great book. Its pretty clear our ancestors all the way up to Ancient Egypt were constantly tripping. Given all the amazing ancient architecture around the world, they much have been tapping into some great knowledge and the connection has since been lost. Its about time we reconnect.

I find all these interviews regarding experience with Ayahuasca very fascinating. I had never heard of this drug before. If the experience is so enlightening regarding the nature of reality and what would benefit us all spiritually and otherwise, I would say the wrong people are taking it. We need the very wealthy and powerful, the politicians, the scientists and teachers to all take it. I love hearing about this, and what I hear does not contradict my own ideas regarding reality. I just think if this "Goddess" is intending to assist us here, this is a VERY round-about way of doing it.

When I was a senior in High School, I was introduced to LSD. Then, weed. I was very fascinated by what consciousness altering substances could do for me. I studied the various methods, and I also used them for recreation as well. Alcohol never really interested me. But, mushrooms, acid, and weed certainly did. Anything, even water, can be abused. Shamans have for millenia explored the human psyche, with amazing results. I have never experienced DMT, and I feel it may be too late for me. 58 yo

I wonder why it is SO hard finding one of my favourite films on dvd, namely "Altered states" from 1980 with Wiliam Hurt among others. LOVE that movie/film and would really like to get it on dvd. can't get it through to Denmark if I found one, often it doesn't ship to Denmark. Fuck the monopoly. Information CAN't be held away from the public, it always breaks free. the more you hold it away from the public, the more likely it finds a hole and push through. Keep up your good work Mr. Hancock.

The Psychedelic waves of the 60's and 70's, are still nurturing and nourishing the light and love of those who can hear the sea. Our own higher dimensional consciousness; that of the Universe, is contacting us through these archaic compounds, revealing the true nature of itself; oneself. This Universe is a creature of love, beauty and intelligence, not one of blind law and cold absence. The Shamans are the doorkeepers to reality; Psychedelics are the key.

It was the most enlightening powerful healing experience of my entire life. It was as if the Akashic knowledge wisdom opened up and showed itself to me. A full death rebirth journey; not sure at one point if I was coming back, then it was completely clear that I had to & I was able to then. This was not some 'dude I'm so high' journey, this had me crawling surrendered to it's mighty power; symbolic somehow of how I now wish to live, in total faith trust knowing I am so taken care of.

"The difficult thing is integrating those realisations into your life" Truth. I do not think everybody is willing to see themselves as they are, this can lead to what is called "a bad trip" which in fact would be just the manifestation of issues the individual has to work on.

    brilliant analogy, i've seen it.
our faith is the same, though i'm struggling to fuck at being able to internally re-enforce that it's real, and worth it, with so much doubt and un-botheredness around me. it's the apathy, sometimes it's overwhelming.
i shouldn't speak negatively too much though, if 'it' is real, i know this is a phase of adjusting to sincere work, or the great work as some might say.

Personal responsibility seems to be an overarching belief in this. I wholeheartedly believe in one taking responsibility for one's own actions instead of blaming others or other things for what happens in our lives. Graham is right, we are responsible for our consciousness, and it is our connection to control. No one has the right to take our consciousness from us.

Maybe plants are very misunderstood. They are truly amazing. They can communicate, and that takes intelligence, and motivation. They also sense things, such as the existence of other creatures besides themselves. They sense, or 'see' colors. They make use of animals to spread their seeds or pollinate. They can produce their own food(can YOU?) with photosynthesis. They have many forms of self-defense.They have great medicinal applications, even cure cancers. They also provide mind altering drugs.

I bet that Mr. Hancock played this very well for his (and everyone's) good. As a stunningly hot yoga youtuber Sonia's fan base is probably miles away from the ones who usually have even a chance to stumble on to Hancock's work, and therefore he opened a whole new door for his work to reach people. Despite of alternative history was already constantly growing as an internet sensation, it's still today far away from the everyday normal people and especially those who dedicate their lives to instagram and other activities in social media. Why is their attention so important, then? Because they CONNECT, and they are in hundreds of millions. they are the majority today. And I bet that many of the most regular regular people got interested when suddenly saw her interviewing some 60 year old guy they've never even seen before:
"this is hmmm, 60 year old guy speaking about drugs, wut? interesting... he sounds actually smart... - yup, made a good point there... this is actually very intersting, didn't expect this but lets keep watching... I mean, who actually is this Graham Hancock guy?" and boom, suddenly he reaches whole new audience. and they'll fucking love him because he is simply brilliant - one of the brightest minds of modern day i'd say. and his work, I mean, it fascinates you before you even believe him and before you even know you realize that he is actually on to something huge.
and look at him now: his fan base has probably hundredfolded since 2012.
it's not just what kind of seed you have, but also where you plant it.

Plants offer an expanded vision of reality and in the way of doing so they alter you, so you have a closer communion with these realities where other practices offer you the same but only stablish the weight of authority over you. And the offer keeps you there until you die and all through your life you just help to stablish the weight of authority over others. Maybe, you even helped in the construction of a temple, or wrote on account of an old-age dogma. I do not say this of all practises.

Positive criticism here… I'd love to listen to Graham talk without her flicking her hair and saying yes and Mmmm all the time… are you kidding me ? Beautiful woman but please, get out of the frame, stop the affirmative noises and let the man speak.

@NomadiCortex Graham's message is the same whether he speaks to a posh babe like Sonia, or heavy metal musicians such as Turbowolf, investigators such as Walter Cruttenden or Daniel Pinchbeck, or on the Joe Rogan show, or with his colleague Robert Bauval. It is irrelevant who he is talking to. I am told I have a posh accent, and I am disappointed when people are prejudiced against me because of that. You know nothing about Sonia Doubell except her exterior, and that is all irrelevant.

:) Yes I had a huge amount of faith before and believe this was how I was able to go to such a profound place during ceremony. Faith to me is solely about trust, that we are not randomly put here on earth alone with no reason, that we are not a nasty experiment gone wrong. Have you seen Batman Rises? There is a scene when he rises out of the prison, this is symbolic to me, we are dark knights rising out of the shadows of our own minds, it is just to awaken to that.

    A very good point.
I don't blame GH for the fact that people can't think for themselves, however I do question his ability to benefit financially from a gullible public.
