I tried this bread yesterday, it was my first time using Tangzhong dough. Turned out soooo fluffy and so soft, the best bread I ever baked! It even stayed soft until the morning but it tasted so good when it was still warm. The dough was a bit salty though, i think 1/2 tsp would be enough but with the sweet custard it tasted better. Going to make this dough again today with another filling. Thanks again Apron! 💕
I just love your bread recipes. This is a winner. Whenever I make wholemeal bread I only use your recipe . The one with the wholemeal flour n water mixed over night n the starter dough to be put in next morning when I bake the bread. Never fails. Thanks so much for sharing your recipes. I love the others too. I love to use the tangzhong method too. I'll try this one tomorrow. I'm sure my family will love it. Tq n keep safe.

Ohhh so great now this video make me hungrey kek! The good crunchy taste and especially smell of fresh bread is just the best makes me feel alive. Only delta paroel music can do the same to me. Sometime I combine the both of them, make me feel alive!

Maybe you used salted butter or margarine. 😊
