I just installed this and tested it. I have a plastic on off valve which you have to be careful with when you take off the hose from the tank you must get the washer out of the pipe as it will stick up in there or like me if you hook it up without the washer you will get wet. The fittings had to really be tighten to get it to not leak and having some plumbers take would help and I do but got it to not leak by carefully tightening them making sure I didn't strip anything. Next, the seat area is smaller on this then what I had and I don't know if that will keep me from returning it yet as having my backside exposed to the plastic is hygienically good when other people are using it. Finally, the test. When sitting on it at first being mail I pushed the handle forward and the spray hit my rear and under my scotoma and when I pushed it back it would hit the anal opening in the right place. Looking at the directions it's the opposite so I'm wondering are woman suppose to turn around and use it the other way? Odd. Anyway it works better than the ClearRear I installed as the rear wash is much better even though I'm confused about the way it works. I have 80lbs of pressure and it seems to be ok so I didn't remover the regulator. Moreover, my wife seemed to like the ClearRear better but as I explained the oddity of the lever and the direction she will use it again and then let me know what she thinks. For me the ClearRear doesn't hit the spot as good. So there you go.....to the bathroom.
Thanks for the details and the response! All good points. Ive had mine installed since I created this video with no issues. Hope this product treats you well and wish the US would catch up with the rest of the world and have these standard in places like hotels, houses, etc.
@@InsomniacReviews So question. Do you notice the oddity of the lever when pushing it forward it sprays forward but when you push it back it spays in back which is visa versa of the manual ? What say you?
@@danbuckles2745 Pushing forward is a bullseye as instructed. Ill have to test with the pushing backwards because Ive never had to use it. Ive had the same roll of TP on the roll for ever a year now so its working!
@@danbuckles2745 upon further review I concur the front wash of moving the switch backwards isn’t what’s expected in regards to location of spray. Being a backdoor wash guy myself it achieved the intended goal but interesting inquiry. I’ll reach out to company and see what they say and look forward to more testing of visitors post COVID. There is one more thing about this is that when it's pushed all the way in and locked the front part of the seat sits back on the bowl about an inch. It's looks odd but it doesn't affect the performance of it. So for different toilets it will fit differently so don't expect a perfect fit. I have a ClearRear too which I just bought but it is a separate piece that uses your toilet seat. I'm trying to figure out which one is better for me and my wife. I got sucked into the ClearRear deal before I started checking prices and could have gotten it cheaper on Amazon. It never satisfied my expectations is the reason I bought the Genie. Testing still.
InsomniacReviews I just received my GenieBidet from amazon today. I got the “Round” model required for my toilet 🚽 but the seat is still too big for my toilet 😡. The cover also doesn’t stay up because it hits the tank too soon. 😒
@@mercurym-7904 Id reach out to the company because mine is the elongated one and Ive never had a problem with fit or the lid coming down. Im sure they will help you out to correct this.

does this have hot and cold settings or just cold water?
Cool thing about this one is no hot/cold just room temperature water which was easy to install. Ive been very happy with this product.
No power is required? Do the rear / front cleaning nozzles just go in / out without it?
