Muslims who migrated from 5 districts of east Punjab were more in number than those who migrated from west Punjab to east Punjab. Those who migrated from east Punjab met the same fate and sufferings. Not only men and women but also minor kids were brutally murdered, burned alive, women were abducted and gang raped. This all happened because five districts of east Punjab like Jalandher, Amratser, Ludhiana, etc were supposed to be part of Pakistan but at the last moment were announced as part of India. From one town of India, 100,000 people started their journey, but only few thousand were able to reach Pakistan. The trains bringing Muslim families from Indian Punjab were totally wiped out, there was not a single survivor.
