For hunting you shouldn't attack the elk calf while the mother is circling. It's easier to make the elk think your giving up and back away, but than rush back when the elk aren't circling anymore.

It's easier to get more space between the mother and calf when they're both trying to rejoin the herd and you can get longer attacks in.

Hey Seri! I have a few tips for you for wolfquest One trick I use a lot is to circle the prey to confuse it when it comes to showdowns. This causes the prey to run. That can be very useful when you’re trying to hunt an elk calf. Another trick that is great for hunting elk can be waiting till night to attack the herd, if you do end up waiting till next all the elk will be sleeping, that gives you a better chance to sneak up on your prey and often kill it. Also, mule deer are a smaller prey and can usually be found on lower grounds. They are particularly easier to take down and you won’t get hurt as much as you would by hunting an elk. Howling can be great to use in stranger wolf territories and helps take down their territory a lot better.
I named one of my pups Soul and another one Faith sadly the oldest Rocky died same with the runt who is named Runt Faith always looked up to her big brother Soul, and he does his best to take care of her while mom and dad are finding food. Faith missed Runt and Rocky. She would ask Soul if they could howl to each other during the adult wolf life when they will be spit apart in amethyst mountain. Faith slept with Soul and her mom and her father. She dreamed of her sis, Rocky and her brother, Runt. Once the aunt sisters had told her she is safe even if something happened. Faith knew that they were right. And that’s all for now of the Howler pack story

Really loves the episode, but if a stranger wolf is chasing you, it's probably best to run out of and away from their territory rather than further into it 😂 really love wolfquest though, can't wait to see the adventures of silver (if he survives!) and hopefully more warrior cats in the future 😁
as a lone wolf i found it's best to not sleep in stranger wolf territory and the deeper you go the more stranger wolves you will encounter. for the elk try to keep the calf running and when it stops let go and back off a bit so it starts running again, the mom can't hit you if the calf is dragging you along. and don't take on Moose even with two wolves early on into the game they are just to powerful (speaking from experience)

hi! i might be late but i have a small tip for you and for other while hunting :D 1. before you hunt make sure you save ur game just incase you die , unless you want your gameplay to be realistic ^^ 2. dont attack the elk calf when mom is around , act like you give up the hunt and move away a lil bit , when the mom elk and her calf run back to the herd , wait till the calf is running behind the mom so when you bite it , it takes about 5-10 seconds for the mom elk to come and protect the calf , that means you got more time to bite it 3. aiming for the throat is a good option since it takes a bit more damage i think this is it , if i spelt something wrong the sorry , im not english :D i hope this helps , bye!!
THIS IS HELPFUL FOR YOU! You know you don’t have to only trot then full on sprint? Don’t hold shift, just click on it. Then you can do a slower gallop and regain energy! You can run forever that way, and you can hold shift when hunting.

Her name is Hua, and she has a mate named Barkeyes. They have 3 pups, Bark, Silent, and Huaeyes. The fourth, named Foxtip, was killed by a coyote. I have just run an elk right up to our door. On Slough Creek, it feels perfect. Except bears and coyotes running in from all sides. (storytime) Hua has a mysterious dream, that tells that Bark, a small boar pup, shall rule a mysterious river when he comes of age. Hua must protect him and his remaining siblings as hard as possible, or the ancestor's foretelling will shatter.
Tips for fighting Aim for a single wolf and bring their health down significantly Killing isn’t always the answer, you can fight without ending your enemy Once you’ve brought the wolves health down aim for the other one (if there are multiple) Then the wolf with low health will not attack you, because it could die Once you’ve brought down both of their health, you can claim your victory! These may not always work, but it works for me!
