I don't get how they play comfortably with the control on their legs like that. I find those control boxes slide all over the place. I can only play this game with a set joystick which is mounted to an arcade cabinet... does anyone else have this problem?
most tournament areas have a table in front of the TV so if you're the type that hates playing on your lap, you'd be good. kinda reminds me, I've seen a guy straight up sit on the floor because he rather play on his lap sitting criss-cross than have his stick slide off his knees.
capcom should remake this without changing the design of the characters,high resolution sprites along with backdrops,some minor tweaks on some characters like claw boxer chun dhalsim and o sagat,fix the slowdown of fireballs.Roll back and cross platform support pc xbox ps 4 or 5 and you had the next best street fighter
The game is fine the way it is in terms of balance. People are still finding new things everyday. Damdai figure out it is easier to deal with claw by using Old Ken than anyone else in the game. This game is played to this day because of the non-balancing of characters. Believe me, Chun, Sim, Boxer and Claw annoy me more than old Sagat. He's not hard to deal with. But I wouldn't change anything.

Entertaining, but so much more rewarding when you can master multiple characters (screw the lazy top tiers, that's like driving a Ferrari trying to beat Hondas, what's the point? Sooo much more rewarding to play low tier and pull wins...) 1 solid match won with Cammy due to TRUE SKILL/MASTERING = 10 Rog/Claw/Gat wins ... Super fun game, only one 26 yo and still worth daily play!!
In the Japanese version of Street Fighter II, the naming was a bit different. Basically like this: JAPAN: M. Bison, Balrog, Vega = INTERNATIONAL: Balrog, Vega, M. Bison In that respective order. Also, Akuma's name is Gouki in the Japanese version.
