On top of the Rebirthful sound going this hard and dark with all these grooves and glitches, Unrefle adding color into these illustrations of Rikka's dark side coming out some more makes him look even scarier. And really, when I first learned about Rebirthful, I expected it to go dark, edgy, sad, vulnerable, profound, and catchy. But with this original song and its MV, I slowly but surely felt that Rikka and his crew here managed to synthesize something terrifying - and maybe even holo's scariest work so far - out of all those things that I thought would only make my heart heavy and my eyes teary as my mind gets the urge to sing and dance and analyze. And I'm yet to really understand the lyrics for myself.
Sleep mode is one of my favorite original songs. Everything about this song, the art, the story, the lyrics, and of course Rikka’s voice. There’s so much emotion put into this song I can’t help but feel the pain and anger the other part of Rikka felt being hidden for so long. I am always amazed whenever I come back to listen to this song. I also love how different this song is from other original songs. It really stand out as someone singing who completely different from Rikka, and that is Dark Rikka! Thank you for creating this song, Rikka!
I really love this song so much!!! Been playing it a lot since its released on music services and glad it got its MV, which now I can play it a lot too!! The way the MV immediately starts with dark Rikka jumpscare is a nice touch (and wow he's so hot), he really got that broken, creepy-looking android form, I also love little details on the cracked face, rusted body and handcuffs on the hands that is now unlocked(?) signaling he already broken free! Also I really love this part 2:28 the depth between him and the chains really add the creepiness, big big BIG LOVE Rikka's voice here is also very insane sounding, I love the hint of growls you add each chorus! And I love how you mostly sing this song in very strong voice but suddenly goes soft just to go strong again! The strong-ness feels like you holding a scream that only matter of time it all burst out! This bridge part really my favorite 3:06!!! Thanks Rikka and everyone involved in this song & MV-making for the amazing banger! I can't wait to see the development of this story!!!
