The Kenton Big Band at TJI (Tucson Jazz Institute) is playing this! This is an amazing song which kinda sounds like today's music but in a funked up jazzy kind of way.
Because this isn't mainstream jazz. The kind of jazz most people think of has less of a groove than this and little to zero melody and that makes people uncomfortable.
probably was a mistake when making the video, probably cut something out like pasting the audio twice and the length just stayed because of the background
If you look at this, then different arrangements, it always seems like here the low brass is quite soft, while in the other arrangements the trumpet(s) are way softer. Kind of funny
I just found out that Trombone Shorty did the Trombone noises for the adult "voices" in the Peanuts movie.
Oh my god
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he also did the new odd couple intro music

I just don't understand people that find jazz boring.
Because this isn't mainstream jazz. The kind of jazz most people think of has less of a groove than this and little to zero melody and that makes people uncomfortable.

It's the notes you DON'T hear that are sometimes most important
did anyone notice that they used a little bit of immigrant song by led zepplin?
Well if you're going to say that then you have to say that Immigrant song sounds like take the A train
You mean when the elephant noises comes in. I think John Bonham could have dug this.
@@VeradoSil
