Redmane Samurai: A Fire Faith Build that Melts Bosses! 🔥 (Elden Ring Patch 1.09.1)

- Hey all. This is a fun Samurai Fire and Faith Build for Elden Ring! This includes Flaming Strike as well as frost too. This is a powerful build and setup you can use to cruise through the majority of bosses with a great amount of versatility!
For this we used:
-Nagakiba +25 with Flame Art Affinity
-Nagakiba Chilling Mist +25
-Any Seal
Talismans:
-Fire Scorpion Charm
-Rotten Winged Sword Insignia
-Dragoncrest
-Shard of Alexander
Fire and Faith Tear or any.
Buff with Golden Vow and Howl of Shabriri.

@@TheKingofRedLightningyea cause i kinda wanna roleplay as a “God Of Fire” or a “Hellfire Samurai”, but the frost aspect of this build ruins the fun for me, so ill be sticking to the fire only aspect of this build

Hey =) I've recently started watching your guides. Does this build require the 2nd nagakiba? As for I am relatively new to the game my knowledge is kinda short on this. I'd still like to play this build on a new character, so I'll probably only have access to one katana, right? Should one desperately need the 2nd katana then I'll have to find a solution for that I guess.. maybe trading.. dunno..
I have a discord for the community/trading. You don’t really need a second one though to do the build. You can also use 1 Nagakiba and 1 starting katana (uchiganata).

@@TheKingofRedLightning Oh.. I forgot to ask if one should turn the uchigatana in the cold version too? Or what is exactly the advantage in using a cold version? I didn't quite get that in the video ^^'
@@Evokxi the offhand you can use for cold to proc frost which you can unproc with anything fire 🔥

Do you have any tips on how I should start getting all the required items for this build? I only know that you have to defeat a certain boss in the castle to be able to visit other places in the game, is that right? Are there more "gateways" like that to get all of the basic items?
what would you do with extra points if decided to continue to level?
High faith (80) then dexterity to speed up casting and some more damage. Vigor to 60 too 👍
For some reason my nagakiba won’t set on fire when I use flaming strike fire art. Any reason why or is it just mine. I did the follow up and everything
Tbh I’m not sure. Flaming strike always has an added coat. I usually do flame art affinity.
i would recommend you 2 hand either katana, frost and fire isnt really that good when using it the way he is saying. Otherwise, this a really sick build 💪💪
It’s just to show the overall versatility and what you can do with it. It has a lot to offer. Fire main hand, frost procs if you want and faith stuff too.

I thought fire damage resets the Frost build Up?!
It does which is a debuff. But if you proc & unproc it quickly you can get several % damage chunks of a bosses’ HP.
what starting class do i choose?
Samurai would be solid 👍
What armor are you using?
Land of reed’s (samurai starting armor) and Radahn’s chest piece.

Did you forget flame grant me strength or purposely leave it out?
If you’re using faith howl is better for variety. It’ll boost spells/incantations as well by 25%. They override each other.

How did you set your weapon of fire? With bloodflame blade you can’t use it if you have fire affinity
@@NotAnonymous_WasTaken flame grant me strength, not bloodflame blade. FGMS buffs fire and physical damage by up to 40% in total. If you’re using bloodflame blade you can switch it to keen or standard.
