Chief Ball is British, he has served the city and its citizens and visitors for over 25 years and has rose through the ranks. I had the privilege of working with him for many years.

I am sad today for the church but the pastor is right too...
I was baptized in the old building by the late Dr Criswell and by parents were married by him but in another building...

lol i saw a clip of him on another vid and thought? hang on thats a british accent( not aussie i can tell a british accent a mile off no matter what part of the uk they come (asked my partner and as he lived in London for quite some years and he said its defo a london accnent!) for sure from they all have certain twangs as we say as im from the uk) BUT apperently hes been in the fire service there for 26 yrs! They do say you can pick up a local dielect if you live somewhere long enough BUT he hasnt by the sounds of it!

Chief Justin Ball began his career in 1997, the same year he joined Dallas-Fire Rescue. Over the more than twenty-six years he has been with the department, he has served with increasing responsibility. First serving as a fire fighter paramedic, Chief Ball has since achieved every possible rank. As the Executive Assistant Chief of Operations, he leads the Department’s most challenging divisions, including Fire response, EMS, Special Operations, Communications and Safety. Chief Ball implemented the City’s Stop the Bleed Program, the Single Function Paramedic Program, and the Squad Relief Program.
He has held the positions of Chief of Staff, Operations Assistant Chief, Executive Deputy Chief, Field Deputy Chief and Battalion Chief. Chief Ball has a Bachelor's in Fire Administration from Texas A&M and is a certified Master Firefighter, ARFF, Fire Officer II, Fire Instructor II, Incident Commander, and Incident Safety Officer. A native of England, he has made Dallas his home for more than thirty years and considers DFR to be a part of his family.

I come from France and have been in the US fire service since 2008 in the Houston area.... did not flee anything or escape my country, I just love my job and helping my fellow citizens, even the ones who leave dumb and ignorant comments on UA-cam 😅
