Beagles will just about eat anything and eat, and eat, and eat, until it's all gone or you take it away from them. They sniff everything, they're so busy sniffing the very seldom will lick a person, they'd rather smell you. We would bury two whole raw eggs for my two beagles in the yard somewhere, within a very short time they could find the eggs. One would eat the egg right away, the other would play with her egg and just tease the heck out of the other one as she played with it and licked it, etc.etc. Meanwhile the other one after a bit of being teased, would go back in the yard and start sniffing around and even pretend she found something else to eat, then the one with the egg would leave the egg alone and check out what the other had supposedly found. Now the sly one, she was pretty quick getting to the unattended egg and devouring it. It was a real show to watch those two together..
