If Josh was there he woulda partied with em! Great time for sure, easy camping and already miss the peace and wilderness, always at extra peace when I come home after one of these trips.
Yeah, it protects the burner from the wind. So with the deluxe and the extra wind protection that thing conserves alot of fuel. Its also actually not too bad with the noise.
@@RhodySeth I have heard that before as well but that is mainly when your worried about over heating the canister I believe. However, there are some videos devoted to testing the impact of wind on those type of stoves and testing the correct setups for wind protection. It gets super in depth but this setup definately helped from what I could tell. I'm also no expert on them so time will tell. I still enjoy my nice quiet alcohol stoves :)
Hey Scott. It was great meeting you, Grayson, and Mike. I 'm sure we will run into each other again... and hopefully get together for an overnight or day trip. Thanks for the shout out and kind words. Cheers to the AA crew.
Butch it was a pleasure meeting you. Congrats on the property too. Excited to see how that all turns out and what it looks like when it's finally complete.

If Josh was there we would have had the party some how invited over to our campsite! haha
When UA-camrs meet UA-camrs.
Interesting little getup for your Rocket stove.

@@AbundantAdventures interesting. I read you weren't supposed to use wind screens with the Rocket but maybe that's a special one?

Another great trip. I agree Canoe Camp Climb makes puts out extremely nice videos. Were you on Floodwood Road?
Yup. That place is slammed all summer so it was nice to sneak in there before the masses setup camp for weeks on end haha.
