That V6 has pretty much been the same since it came out in 2005. Amazing engine: lots of power, fuel efficient, very reliable, plus it sounds like a mini V8.

I drive a black on black 2015 XSE V6 Camry that I bought new 3 years ago & the power of the V6 is still incredible to me! Couldn't ask for a better engine! My mom drives a 2017 XLE 4-cylinder Camry which has good power & sounds decent enough, but the V6 just completely transforms the car big time & well worth the $5k price increase over the 4-cylinder. Sadly only 5% of Camry buyers pick the V6 according to Toyota. It's super rare that I ever see another XSE V6 Camry & only have seen 3 of them that look exactly like mine. Most everyone buys the SE versions which is not nearly as nice as the XSE & XLE. The dealer where I bought my Camry at the time had about 400 Camry's in stock & only 10 of them had the V6!
