Was struggling so much with this until I decided to sack a DPS slot for Yuna. Having Yuna (and Mona) makes this boss so much more manageable with no grastas. As long as you keep the double INT debuff on her, neither of the bits or Mother can do significant damage to you. Keep both bits at low hp before you destroy one so the next one can immediately be destroyed when needed. Then it's just a matter of switching out to avoid Lullaby and just bursting her down in AF.
Just finished battle with Mother w/o Grastas nor full Manifest Weapons , It took me about 15mins for the battle and Mana "Midnight Cendrillon" the remove buffs/debuffs skill do wonder here .. My strategies are to kill both Pods first, and keep remove Mother's INT UP buffs when it reach 2-3 stacks to avoid insta-wipeout .. The teams are : Joker, Morgana, Isuka(AS), Mana, Mariel, Toova (All 80) Note: (Any attackers seems fine, as long as u have Mana and Heavy Healers like Mariel)
They are borrowing so heavily from Chrono Trigger. I wish they could get the rights to allow for the summoning of Crono, Lucca, Marle, etc. I would love to see the meeting between Cyrus and Glenn (Frog).
TJ Reed oh man, now i just realize that killing bits is actually already hard, and then you need to kill one every 2 turns. i guess i need to slow down my grinding a bit so my play style can adjust to others. but then again beating boss in 20+ minutes and uploading it is quite hard for me too... hmmm anyway i need to slow my pace in this game, too much grinding i guess thanks for the feedback
@@alkatrev I somehow managed to beat mother with hismena's rosa azul+ joker and morgana using half af! I was prepared to just die and refill my af bar xD
@@alkatrev well to put in a away as has no regen like og do because i always do one pure cradel and keep on using cure herb till the regen effect ware off since i can save a lot of mana and have the same heal of L one by only using 10 mp. On the other hand as mariel can xl heal cause of intel stack. It also provide type buff and it cost a lot of mana but if i were to pick i would pick dunarith if you want buff since his is more useful and powerful. And also she can ressurect. So if you want atk buff go as mariel and if you want a never ending heal go og

tfbrave So I was in a similar position you’re in now when I did this fight. I didn’t have access to Grastas when I did this fight either. I thought the fight was really hard (a friend of mine is really really struggling with this fight, they don’t have Grastas either) but I think it’s doable, you just have to be really patient. I took the slowly-whittling-down-her-health-and-just-try-to-survive-longer-than-her approach, which took me about 40 minutes. For this fight, I relied heavily on Cetie and OG Mariel. Cetie’s VC debuffs int by 20%, and he also has vigilante lance to debuff by 25%. His tri-assault can help build up AF. And Blaze Impact can buff his power by x3, which I found to be really helpful. He can also take advantage of Mana’s Queen of Hearts. And from what I can remember, he was also actually able to tank Mother’s hits pretty decently. Mariel spamming Pure Cradle and Aurora Force to keep everyone alive, and Cure Leaf to get rid of sleep/bind. The other people I used were AS Isuka (buff party/debuff Mother- Morgana could be used instead & his healing won’t be affected by int debuff from Queen of Hearts), Tsubame (DPS), OG Mighty (no manifest), and Mana (Practical, Queen of Hearts, Midnight Cendrillion). Everyone was at lvl 80 except for Mana (lvl 65). I went with a mostly physical team so that they could benefit from Mana’s Queen of Hearts and Isuka’s Hastening Melody. OG Mighty was also useful with tanking some of the hits since he has such high spirit. I wasn’t able to take out the pods every two turns and sometimes the int buff would stack because it took a while to get rid of and it wasn’t always ideal to send Mana out. Sorry for not having more details, I did this fight a while ago and was looking for videos to help my friend with a strategy for their team, so the finer details of the fight are a little fuzzy. So I think it’s doable as long as you have the patience to slowly whittle away at her health, and I think Cetie would be really useful for this fight and would be worth upgrading. (From what I’ve gathered, he’s not as popular of a unit because people aren’t a huge fan of his kit? or something like that but I find him to be really versatile and he also really fit my play style). OG Mighty with manifest would also probably be really helpful here. There might a better and faster method without Grastas, I only started playing two months ago so there’s probably a lot idk, but I thought it might be helpful to give you some perspective as someone who didn’t have Grastas for this fight, since it looks like most people had Grastas for this fight. If spending 30-40 minutes slowly whittling down health isn’t your thing, I think it’d be worth it to just wait until you have access to them. Smile of Hope i have high tier grastas for cerrine & toova. also toova has manifest weapon which boost party earth damage. maybe you can focus on morgana wind booster, so use full wind team (felmina, amy, azami). focus on killing 1 pod, save your AF when 1 pod down. then use your AF to the boss, make sure it is single target hit so it doesnt kill the other pod

No weakness.. it seems like it is easier to beat the boss with one bit alive and nuke it with full bar AF (some aoe and some big damage ST dps)
