Just came across your channel, I have just purchased at 58 my first Hobonichi weeks mega and cousin. I’m from the U.K. but I am in the US for 3 months and I have gone nuts for everything Hobonichi so when I watched your video I laughed so much as I thought wow I’m not alone in having to buy everything because it’s so cute😂. I am being made redundant at the end of the year after 36 years with the same company so I am going to have time now to use all my goodies. My poor husband has lived with my stationery addiction for over 20 years and he still doesn’t understand why I need so many pens, notebooks, pencils and pencil cases😂

I got an a5 and a6 hon both rainbows. I think I NEED a double rainbow in my life😂. I also got the atelier sky a5 cover and the Unsodo a5 cover. I loved the Unsodo collaboration! I did not get a weeks for 2025- which makes me nervous, but I’m just going to make a weeks in my personal rings so I can just recycle it when I’m done. I can’t bring myself to throw out my weeks planners and I just don’t want to store them all. I have an unused weeks from 2 years ago that I can pull out if my plan fails.
Loved watching your unboxing and big fan of hobonichi. I got the purple night weeks and using it as life archive for 2025 - love the artwork! I’ve also had my eye on that pink sparkle drawer pouches and we can only get direct from hobonichi 😭 but it always sells out! I also use a midori 3 year, love how it’s like volumes of books. Hope you do more stationery videos! From one stationery lover to another ❤

I was going to unbox it but there was only 2 things in the box so I decided not to, but I’ll show it in another video. I really like it. POUNCH: They are different color pinks. Some are darker than others. I think they are medium pink color shades. The interior is very bright which is lovely. I was looking at the one with the boy with the bird on his head but I decided on the one I purchased. A5 COVER: You can use the Dandalion cover for any A5 journal, planner or notebook if you don’t want to buy a cousin. HON: I like the hon too since it’s like the cousins. I like the designs, but I like the the way the cousins chunks up. I LOVE the end of the year when I place the new cousin next to my old one. It’s so satisfying. HOBONICHI: I know there were so many wonderful designs this year. It was hard to decide. Thank goodness I was saving up for a year to purchase all of my picks this year. COLLABORATIONS: Ι didn’t. I have never used a Cousin, and have had no plans to, but I think I’ll be ordering the dandelion cover myself, it is adorable and I just love it. I also love that Hon-actually there are just way too many things I love this year, it is a problem! How to decide? I can’t buy everything, and sadly neither can I see anything in real life. Oh I also meant to ask you if you knew that Hobonichi did collaborations? I didn’t. And I certainly didn’t know soon enough to not spend at least double on the cover I ended up getting-the Kanahei Weeks. And I still have to pay for shipping. Sheesh. I LOVE that one, lucky you! 😍😍 Regarding the pouches, I was wondering about the brown or beige of the background fabric, if it's fairly dark, or lighter than it appears on my screen? I just love the inside color though, and I really wish the boy/bird one had a prettier interior! On the Hobonichi site they do identify the collaborations they have done that year, but I think they only show the covers. On the left side of the page are the Loft collaborations, and on the right are each separate Weeks done with different companies or organizations. So for instance, I bought the Kanahei Weeks from Mercari (blue plaid) but I should have been on the Kanahei Instagram page and signed up for it ahead of time to get it at a reasonable price. But I didn't know about these collabs until I watched Jenna's YT video. Omg, she was soo excited! If I really love a Hon a buy the japanese version bc I don’t need to re date the daily pages look after on, just the monthlies. And that’s easy enough to go with Tombow erasure tape. And date stickers.
I’ve never seen a dandelion. But I understand what you mean about being “bothered” that they are called weeds. My favorite are sunflowers and my family makes fun of me.
