Well since watching this channel I have been following the history of Gold sovereigns and that's all I stack now It's so addictive but a beautiful affordable goal to achieve two sovereigns a month.
George v's are my favourites, I need a 16s, 21, 23, 24 and 28 to complete my run, I had a chance to pick up a 23 a while back and bought a shield instead! That decision haunts me now!
I envy your access to high quality sovereigns in the UK. Here in Canada it's rather hit and miss. I'm still looking for a 1916 London sovereign to complete my George V run, (minus 1917 of course), and I have yet to get 1902 to 1905 London Sovereigns. High grade makes it more of a challenge.
I have to say I bulk bought most of my Sovs. However, this has meant I have I have a sizable collection of the rose gold ones in my stack, which dislike. I hope this is not going to bite me on the bum when I come to run down my stack.
I understood the entire 1917 London production was shipped to USA in payment for war time exports to UK. US Treasury melted all foreign coins to bullion bars, due to prohibition of foreign gold coins. Good luck finding one.
@ I really appreciate your content. Like others here, I am jealous regards the availability of high grade sovereigns in UK relative to Australia. I would note Australian half sovereigns are very low mintages relative to London.
I'm not sure exactly what the question is here but it seems that stackers have all kinds of income levels from various industries it's ultimately down to spending less than you earn and saving/ investing the difference and then repeating consistently over time
Nice!!

Same to you! Thanks
Good display. Nice to see those sovereigns.
Lowest premium closest to spot for weight stackers.
Cheers🥃
Smart move

At least it was a shield that you went for so not all bad but yes... Those early 20s seem to be less common
Dont worry about your decision. It was what it was.
The coins you seek will find you ok.
Paráda a děkuji za video ❤❤❤❤

I have a spare a spare 1902 and 1905!
Interested?
It will be interesting to see how next years gold sovereigns "stack" up to these old gold sovereigns.
Coming over to the uk in September from Canada. Do you have a go to dealer you could recommend?
Atkinsons
@@XYZ-ef3modo you have a person you deal with?
chards they work out cheaper plus can pickup in person to avoid delivery charge
Atkinsons all day long.

Lovely 🌹 How to sell value coins?
Have you a local coin dealer perhaps?

They're a very high premium coin yes, I've seen a few come up for sale into the 5 figures

💯
The silver sovereign was targeted at collectors rather than stackers anyways I think. All proof, limited mint run, massive premium
Yes you're right. Interesting for the novelty aspect
Nowt better than a sov.
Do you have a 1916 though ?
1916 sovereign yes
@SovereignSaurus ah.. I see .. plenty of fakes of that year apparently.. will you grade it at NGC ?
Man, when you layed down your tube of Sovs I can just hear that beautiful gold weight 🪙
Not wanting to pry to much but you must have a huge pay check from your job, sorry to say that but the mind does start to question.
Bet he would have to go to therapy if he had to go two or three months without buying some gold😂😂...SERIOUSLY...😮😮

Another market video would be good. I'm interested to see what happens to spot price when Trump gets in office.
I like the old gold better. Rich history and culture and best of all...LOW PREMIUM, at least here in the US.
