For anyone whose craving Gregg's sausage rolls at home but can't be bothered to go to Gregg's, go to Iceland and you can buy them frozen then just cook them from home whenever you want. It's great!
Go to Reykjavík hahaha im very very funny lol get it because reykjavík is the capital of ICELAND 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
the thing with vinyl is that the music is mixed differently because of how records are made (they usually have more midrange than the digital/CD ccopies). it may not sound better to everyone, but a lot of people like it, me included. I also just like having a big copy of music where you can really see the details of the album cover, also the lyric sheets are actually readable.
Lyrics sheets just took me back there for a moment, maybe I'm really tired but I'd completely forgotten about them, but me and my brother used to read through them together listening to the albums
I find them conceptually very interesting, because of how open vinyl players are and how…idk, physical it all seems? I don’t really hear a difference (though admittedly I’ve not necessarily paid close enough attention to) but watching a record spin and the movement of the needle all translate into playing music is really cool to me
@@RubyBlueUwU I agree with the fascination of how records players and vinyls work. Unfortunately, I don't like the added "scratchy" sound :/ so I prefer digital. I definitely understand why people say it feels "warmer" and such though.
Ah, "Fashion"... the art of pretending that random hideousness is "hot" and "trendy" so hard that people stop questioning it and just pay a fortune to look like your aunt's wallpaper impregnated a bizarre, impractical overcoat and had a thoroughly unpleasant garment baby which they both abandoned to fend for itself, causing it to grow up hard and impractical, unfriendly to the wearer. As someone who collects vinyls, the sound quality on a vinyl, especially an album that uses real instruments, is way better than just listening through some earphones
Nothing about vinyl is better sound quality, it’s just analog which sounds slightly warmer so may be more pleasant to some people to listen to it at high quality you will need really expensive turntables anyway Plus analog wears down over time which can sound nice to some people but no way is it better quality than lossless file formats like wav and flac

As a vinyl collector myself, I find it's better especially if you like the older stuff. (Like in my case: The Beatles, Sex Pistols, Pink Floyd etc.) Whereas streaming it on Spotify and such can give it that "too polished" sound. Also, you had singles, and albums (obviously) but if you wanted to choose a specific track on an album, you had to look closely at the lines on the record and place the needle on the right line. Plus, if you are a musician, or just a big music lover in general, it's honestly like a toy and if you love an album that much, streaming it isn't enough and it just feels good to own it physically. CD, Vinyl, or whatever. 😂 However, I personally will stream an album first to save me the risk of buying a dogshit album. Just a few points I wanted to throw out. 👍 P.S Irreleveant side note: 5:05-5:20 that looks like the outside of The Marquis in Covent Garden, where I normally go drinking in London with the Police Station opposite. You do get some interesting shit down that way. Lmao

11:00, actually before world war 1 and food rationing we used a lot of herbs and spices in our food, we invented the Tikka Masala for gods sake. reason I buy vinyl’s personally is that, mainly with older music, but it’s the way the artist intended you to listen to it so i wanna appreciate it for all its value
To be fair, I buy vinyl but totally agree with you. I only tend to buy records if they haven't been released on any other format or have tracks that are exclusive to the vinyl (which I then digitize lol). Vinyl is expensive, takes up space and is such a faff. It's the same as PC gaming, you get the benefit, but only if you know what you're doing with the hardware!
