That “mouth sound” was definitely the strongest shape being vigorously manipulated while simultaneously being lubricated to ensure proper function and reduce heat build up.
The guys who made this also made feed the head, which is somehow more confusing. Not quite the same and this is definitely better, but still worth a play. I believe they also made metamorphobet, which isn't really a game but an experience.
If you looking for puzzle games, I suggest Talos Principle. It is a first person puzzle game, but unlike Portal, it doesn't involve precise timings and reaction.
6:06 No it makes sense, if you take a layer(an arch) out of the pyramid(the bridge) there will still be a pyramid. Also an arch is always a bridge and you cant take that out because an arch needs to be connected(if i remember correctly) means it need to be passable, which inturn makes it a bridge, which inturn (the 3rd time) makes so you cant take the bridge out of an arch. (sorry if there is any missplelling my main language is not english and i am typing on a phone)
15:17 It's a Horn of Plenty, also known as a cornucopia. It is the symbol of abundance because it is always full of sustenance; even as food is removed from it, it stays full.
3:24 yes, the toilet paper trees. I remember a neighbor having one in their front yard. It would only bloom once a year around October 31st. There would be so much toilet paper, it would cover their house and cars too.
4:54 I'm curious 🤣 12:55 actually is the Babylon Tower... The one that was used to explain how and why there are so many languages Very cute lil puzzle 🧩👍
So delighted to see you play this one, a weird little gem. You might like: * Snakebird (if you didn't get enough being outsmarted by worm bird things in this one) * the Grow series from Eyezmaze (Grow Cube is my favorite -- it's officially on Android now but I think you can still find the Flash version around the internet) * World of Goo is puzzle engineering, sorta like Polybridge but uh ... more gooey
World of Goo was my absolute favorite puzzle game as an older kid! I still think about it from time to time because of how dope the soundtrack was. Quite a sad little game as well.
A good adventure puzzle game from back in the day was The Neverhood. It was pretty weird as well and all of the clues had to be written down in a note book so you didn't forget them. I loved the funky claymation style of it. :)
WINDOSILL AUGH I NEED IT AGAIN I MISS THIS GAME!!! I remember playing the short free version over and over because I loved the puzzle aspect! I wonder how much it costs nowadays
Now this brings me back, I used to play around with this when I was still in school, and I thought it was one of the neatest games I've ever played at the time. Sadly, I never finished it because I only ever played the free version of it, so I was never able to see most of the game. Seeing you finish the whole thing gave me a nice sense of closure.
I've seen elements of this game as easter egg on one of the "IT Crowd" DVD. Videos appeared as screen saver with a mouse courser trying to solf similar of those puzzles. It's so mind-blowing, that those where references to this game!
Windowsill is more of an experience than a puzzle game If you wanna try a real point and click adventure about an engineer, check out the Deponia trilogy It's pretty lengthy, but it's got some top level engineering
I miss this era where there were many small quality indie developers that were able to make a living and not get gobbled up by other bigger game developers.
It's most definitely not a free game, and probably not one that you can finish in a single video, but I absolutely must recommend Myst: Masterpiece Edition, either original or RealMyst. The Myst series is THE puzzle game series, and one of the oldest I can think of that still stands the test of time. It was released way back in 1993, and it is still a popular game.
Matt's knowledge of world myths seems kinda subpar. Cone shaped colliseum type building? A viking bin? I guess reckognizing cultural designs is more of an architect thing...
I hope I'm not the only one who's always thought this game is beautiful in its own unique way
I'm one
Definitely not alone
That “mouth sound” was definitely the strongest shape being vigorously manipulated while simultaneously being lubricated to ensure proper function and reduce heat build up.
Fleshlight full of mayonnaise.
You naughty bastard. I love it.
What a convoluted way to not say bj while saying bj, nice
The "Viking rubbish" at the end is a cornucopia, also called a horn of plenty. It's filled with food.
And it comes from Greek mythology… but still love the Viking rubbish description 😂
The guys who made this also made feed the head, which is somehow more confusing. Not quite the same and this is definitely better, but still worth a play. I believe they also made metamorphobet, which isn't really a game but an experience.
I loved this guy's work back in the day. Feed the Head, and I recall a game about balancing a bunch of weird junk on hooks, too.
0:18 "*Unlike other things of yours...*" LOL
If you looking for puzzle games, I suggest Talos Principle. It is a first person puzzle game, but unlike Portal, it doesn't involve precise timings and reaction.
0:19 “unlike other things of yours,” excellent editor, excellent.
This game feels like a fever dream
0:25 - That thing will TOTALLY traumatise people with that weird phobia of holes in things...oh yep trypophobia.
I should have fixed the missplelling before he gave me a hearth
@@the-pepsi-paladin it's all fine :)
@@the-pepsi-paladin bro took all my missing brain power💀
15:17 RCE not knowing what a cornucopia is hurts my soul.
A Viking bin
15:17 It's a Horn of Plenty, also known as a cornucopia. It is the symbol of abundance because it is always full of sustenance; even as food is removed from it, it stays full.
0:18 editor quips are always my favourite
Just love the editor notes so much xD
Haha, the editor was absolutely on it this episode.
3:24 yes, the toilet paper trees. I remember a neighbor having one in their front yard. It would only bloom once a year around October 31st. There would be so much toilet paper, it would cover their house and cars too.
I totally forgot about this game! I absolutely loved it. I played it on my iPad when it first came out. Props to whom ever recommended it to you.
@0:18, your editor shure is cheeky 😛 I had to slow the speed down as much as possible and flick past frame by frame to catch what he typed here 😛
5:03 Matt totally distracted missed the cube here 😂😂
Hohokum is another underappreciated good sensory puzzle experience.
4:54 I'm curious 🤣
12:55 actually is the Babylon Tower... The one that was used to explain how and why there are so many languages
Very cute lil puzzle 🧩👍

The creativity behind this game is mindblowing !
0:19 "unlike other things of yours" Funny editor!
2:17 made me laugh way too much 😆
0:18 "unlike other things of yours"
Thanks! this helps a lot for my curiosity 😂
If any one is wondering, the text in the beginning says unlike things of yours
This is like those children PC games from the 90s with the weird animations when you click on stuff, except a whole game just about that.
15:18 its called a Cornacopia
A good adventure puzzle game from back in the day was The Neverhood. It was pretty weird as well and all of the clues had to be written down in a note book so you didn't forget them. I loved the funky claymation style of it. :)
The driver of my car is like "Matt I'm dead that's hella G-forces"
Play "Feed the head", it is even weirder 😂
WINDOSILL AUGH I NEED IT AGAIN I MISS THIS GAME!!! I remember playing the short free version over and over because I loved the puzzle aspect! I wonder how much it costs nowadays
I LOVED THIS FLASH GAME WHEN I WAS YOUNG THANKS FOR PLAYING IT Poog
Now this brings me back, I used to play around with this when I was still in school, and I thought it was one of the neatest games I've ever played at the time.
Sadly, I never finished it because I only ever played the free version of it, so I was never able to see most of the game. Seeing you finish the whole thing gave me a nice sense of closure.
I used to play this at kindergarten together with some mates so i have the same feeling of nostalgia as you.
Holy this game is a nostalgia-trip, I remember Jackscepticeye playing this years ago!
I've seen elements of this game as easter egg on one of the "IT Crowd" DVD. Videos appeared as screen saver with a mouse courser trying to solf similar of those puzzles. It's so mind-blowing, that those where references to this game!
That text at 0:19 😂
"Unlike other things you have"
God I slowed down the video and tried to pause it to read it but It flashed so fast i couldn't stop it in time.
Ohhh memory unlocked. I love this type of game. Thank you for this
The Misadventures of P.B. Winter bottom is a great puzzle game. Love to see you play it. It's on steam.
This game is such a fascinating exploration of surrealism.
Windosill! I remember this wonderful little game, glad to see it again.
I love that this game gave adventure time vibes and I'm here for it
0:18 unlike other things of yours LOL
What a playful & imaginative little game. Love the artwork.
Antichamber is a fantastic puzzle game, there's nothing else quite like it. You have to figure out the mechanics as you go.
The Viking beverage holder at the end seems like it’s actually a cornucopia
Nice puzzle. 😊the fact that it is short is an asset.
Psychologist: All dreams have meaning.
My dreams: 9:30
As for puzzle games, the Cube Escape series is my absolute fave
1:24 Ngl, the second options sounds way funnier.
RCE: My mouse probably looks pretty large
His Editor: Unlike other things of yours
so weird and different... its refreshing really
13:14 it’s the tower of babylon.
the under presents vr is a good puzzle game. the campaign and multiplayer lobby have really good puzzles
I think the last puzzle is a reference to the tower of Babel (the tower that was supposed to reach heaven).
Remember playing all the creator's projects back in the day :D Nice to see them pop up here again.
15:00 biblically accurate constellation
0:18 had to run it at 0.25 speed to catch it "unlike other things of yours..."
4:45
Fisting a mayonnaise jar.
I remember playing the demo from this back when I was a kid. You should check out their other games if possible
Really nice game! I think I would have enjoyed playing this... maybe it's a sign that I need to try out some of the small puzzle games.
Did anyone else see that " unlike other things of yours" edit at 19 seconds 🤣
"INSIDE" is a really great puzzle game, it's a bit long, but I'd like to see Matt play it!
Windowsill is more of an experience than a puzzle game
If you wanna try a real point and click adventure about an engineer, check out the Deponia trilogy
It's pretty lengthy, but it's got some top level engineering
Loved this game back in the day on my iPad
0:19 lol
if you’re still on the hunt, i would suggest GNOG!! a very wonderful puzzle game
This dragged me back to elementary school during recess on a rainy day 🥲
So this is what the menu of the four season of the "it crowd" was referencing!! Awesome
At 0:17 i was able to stop it in time to see what it said.
"Viking rubbish!"
Pffft
That's a Greek cornucopia mate xD
Twas a fun looking game. Thanks!
lol I was waiting for "moon-nado" haha
RCE "it makes my mouse looks very large".... Editor "unlike other things of yours"
Has a similar puzzle feel to the Samorost games.
This reminds me of Grow Cube I used to play a long time ago
I remember playing this back in 2009 in my browser
I miss this era where there were many small quality indie developers that were able to make a living and not get gobbled up by other bigger game developers.
he should try GNOG, its in a similar vein to this but more akin to escape room tactile puzzle boxes
I remember this game! I used to play it
3:42 you mean a jawbreaker
you should look into "Feed the Head" I'm pretty sure its from the same developers of this game. Similar art style and wacky puzzles to solve!
4:56 everything reminds me of her
This game has the same style as metamorphabet
And feed the head too. I believe they're all made by the same people, so that's probs why
this game is like a fever dream... I recognise it but it feels so unfamiliar
8:15 That's what she said.
0:18 I’m hurt
if you are looking for puzzle games, grow cube is pretty fun and there are sequels to it
Jeesh this takes me back!
For those of you trying to pause the video at 0:18 , it says " Unlike other things of yours...."
Oof, self burn.
Yo love your channel
heres another really good puzzle game, its called superliminal, its a perspective based game
What a unique game. Definitely the best
1:00 me when ur mom 😂
Matt's knowledge of world myths seems kinda subpar. Cone shaped colliseum type building? A viking bin? I guess reckognizing cultural designs is more of an architect thing...
"Its a sper- Its a flower..." -Matt 2023
12:08 why do I know the 3rd one of something
I remember this was once a browser game hahaha
