GD, TOP, and TaeYang are around 30 years old now, from the time all three of them first met as SM Entertainment Trainees(that what they're called in Korean) they basically grew up together as close best friends (Like brothers)
Actually only Ji Yong was a trainee at SM Entertainment (for 5 years) before he started at YG when he was 12, where he met Youngbae. Ji was friends with TOP in middle school, Ji told TOP to audition for YG a year or so before Bigbang's debut, he wasn't accepted by YG because he was over weight, he went home and literally worked his butt off then went back to YG and was accepted.
