Many people know the Guitar Hero franchise, but not everyone know about this spin-off. It has a completely different gameplay mechanic. It's really worth to search more about it. Recently, my friend bought DJ Hero 2. We played it together for a couple hours and I found it really fun, because I have never played DJ Hero before. I only play Guitar Hero, which I already mastered. So I thought it was nice to start everything from the start.

As someone who has played Rock Band expert drums for nearly 10 years and has gotten 100% on some of the game's toughest songs, I can fairly say I am so lost here. I was able to figure out what's going on in the first half of the song but once it got insane my brain couldn't even calculate what was happening.
This will forever and always amaze me. I'm busy here just trying to beat a couple levels in a Guitar Hero copy-cat (Beat Fever) and I can barely even get multiple perfects in a row! Then your here doing whatever it is with astonishing skill that I don't have!

you dont need to hit the buttons harder when the song is difficult. If you are a good player or simply skilled player you can do it softly. It's a common mistake to think that is better to hit harder when faster but no, its the opposite. the same thing applies when playing an instrument like drums or marimba, you can do it softly and if you do it will be better.
Daxmacloi yeah if you hit your drums too hard you wont get the same bounce from the stick you will be too tired too quick and will damage your drums and crack your cymbals faster.
two pro tips for anyone playing this game 1. don't hit the buttons so fucking hard 2. put the controller on a table instead of your legs because A. it makes it easier to play and B. you aren't shaking every which fucking way
I'd like for you to check out Guitar Hero Through The Fire and Flames FC with a guitar shown of the guy playing it.. Altough its not DJ Hero you will understand that thos econtrollers are meant to be unbreakable by only human hands.
I recently bought a dj controller and the 2 games at a local pawn shop for $3. It's a fun game, just not as Electronic music oriented as I wanted it to be. The vast majority of the game is hip-hop music with some edm thrown in every now and again

Recently, my friend bought DJ Hero 2. We played it together for a couple hours and I found it really fun, because I have never played DJ Hero before. I only play Guitar Hero, which I already mastered. So I thought it was nice to start everything from the start.

As someone who has played Rock Band expert drums for nearly 10 years and has gotten 100% on some of the game's toughest songs, I can fairly say I am so lost here. I was able to figure out what's going on in the first half of the song but once it got insane my brain couldn't even calculate what was happening.

you dont need to hit the buttons harder when the song is difficult. If you are a good player or simply skilled player you can do it softly. It's a common mistake to think that is better to hit harder when faster but no, its the opposite. the same thing applies when playing an instrument like drums or marimba, you can do it softly and if you do it will be better.
Daxmacloi yeah if you hit your drums too hard you wont get the same bounce from the stick you will be too tired too quick and will damage your drums and crack your cymbals faster.
two pro tips for anyone playing this game
1. don't hit the buttons so fucking hard
2. put the controller on a table instead of your legs because A. it makes it easier to play and B. you aren't shaking every which fucking way

zombie crew inc. it's pretty sweet, love the game just takes a bit of getting used to and skill. Would recommend starting on medium difficulty
