Red Rock used to be my home casino when I lived in Las Vegas. Great to see that you went there! I spent most of my time in that fantastic sports book but I loved the restaurants as well. Plus the club.
Here's a video poker tip to those watching. Never put the speed on tje fastest. The 2nd speed arrow is fine. Reason being, you autmatically start to get into that speed and rythmn when the cards are drawing quickly and you can easily hold or not hold the wrong cards or cards. No need to rush and degen out.
If you are playing a positive expectation game; its advantageous to set the game to max speed. However, in this particular example I would set the game to the slowest setting because 8/5 DDB progressive has a ER of 98.46%. Playing at a rate of 500 hands per hour will cost the player $77. The RF at $12,723 is not a strong play. There is a reason why there are only two people playing this bank of machines.
I've heard all good things about Redrock Casino. Next time I head west I'm definitely going there instead of the strip. Looking forward to the rest of this series. :)
Hi Andrew thanks for the video. Quick question, someone told me a long time ago do not play progressives they are much tighter. What are your thoughts? Thanks
Totally depends on the paytable. Once the game resets they are almost not even playable. Most good VP games have 99% plus pay back whereas "most" progressive games are 97% to start before the progressive meter starts to run up. There is a point where progressives become 100%+ games all by themselves. I have a link to a book in this video description that is all your would ever need to know about chasing progressives. It's a whole thing tbh.
Dude, come back. It's a holiday weekend. Fly in for a quick session. I'll have you back before dinner. Unless it's a moto-x weekend with the kids or wifey event, then it's a no-go.
I never understand why some players (your buddy) play so darn fast! Man, opens up all kinds of potential mistakes and why rushing to get thru each hand? Don’t get it. Glad you play on slow mode. Much more enjoyable!

If you would Have hit that on DDB with the kicker- that woulda blew the roof off!
I was going for gold!
I hit the Royal progressive on that same bank back on October 19th for $15,475.37
Phenomenal hit. I don't chase them too much and in 18 years have yet to hit one.
@@Slotmassacre I was in the right place at the right time!

One of these trips, everyone is going to land something crazy and things will get wild haha. I can't wait to see that!
I'm liking it during the first ad before the vid. I already know I'll enjoy it.
6:45 your 1-6 hands are interesting. Look at the high clubs. Just a flag...in some games you might be able break high pair for 10JQ RF or JQK RF

It can be a bit out of the way but make a day out of it and hit the canyon as well.
So many near misses for straight flushes, glad you got one!
And I've got another VERY good one coming :-)
Thanks for sharing. So close on those Aces.
good luck on this trip! I hope you and Bigkat hit the royale.
I can report now that 2 out of 5 people did hit a royal ;-)
Mama said there be days like this, you’ll get them next time
Thanks for another great video!
No quads this video, but there going to be coming, but you already know!! LOL Love your videos!

Love your videos! I play similar stakes as you and would love a buddy to hang out and play with.
Have a great year!
Thanks! You too!
I never hold a full house with 3 aces. I go down swinging for that hand. Good Video!!
Right on
Damn I miss that sound
nice straight flush! wow, red rock looks nice... thanks
👍😎👍

He does play incredibly fast. Probably 300 hands per hour more than myself. His brain works really fast and enjoys it.
Curtis has a very fast processor inside that brain of his that’s for sure!🍎
1:39 Damn that RF is high.
Yeah, I think it's because it's DDB so people are more afraid of chasing it.
You still in town?
No
Does anyone make a profit doing this long term?
he said perood 2003-2018 were mostly loosing years, but hey year 2020 was a winning one
2016-2020 all in the black. 2003-2015 mostly losing with small wins
There are people doing it consistently but not many tbh
Straight flushes should be a higher payout that 4 of a kinds...the odds are higher to get one. Never understood that part of the payout structure.
It's to make the game more playable. 4oak happen more often and pay better. So they lowered the smaller hits.
I've got a really good straight flush coming in a few videos :-)
Until the plexiglass and masks are gone, I'll just watch you!
@@deaf2demands706 ok, Uncle Glum.
jesus.. would u like some burger with your salad?
when are we getting married!!
It’s been awhile, where you been lol
@@Slotmassacre lol I know.. I kind of thought I creeped you out for a moment.. so I stopped commenting but I still watch!
Had to stop watching. Your friend who doesn’t keep his mask over his nose is why people have to stay home. Ruined the video.
Why are you videos only of basically wins.I want to see game play.vlogs suck
Look at today’s, no talking and mostly straight play. I have 4-5 videos coming up of just straight play .
