Transformers Devastation - Grimlock Vs Constructicons (Prime Difficulty) v2

Some Transformers Devastation on PS3 on the hardest difficulty, using Grimlock. This is the 2nd Grimmie playthrough against the Constructicons, as there were some elements of gamplay here I preferred to the first, but some I didn't, hence why I thought I'd just upload 2 versions.

I like the heat sword, as good as hammers are the sword is his iconic look.

Yeah, I could never really get into the hammers, the slight delay in the swing would normally result in me getting punched in the face. Annoyingly in the game, one of the most iconic weapons for a character doesn't seem to drop above something like level D - Prime's Axe. I did so much in game farming trying to get an SS version of the Axe to drop and it just never happened. I asked about this over at GameFAQs and not a single person over there had one. I think it's a bug in the game. I have to just make do with the Star Sabre with Optimus...

@@MrThunderwing Finished off FoC hard run last night, and popped in Devastation to install the game to my console and check out where I left off on weapon synthesis.
An S ranked Sol's hammer maxing about 5k in damage, and an S rank Bayformers style battle blade maxing about 3k damage (And the two very disturbing individual stats of 1,666 each 😱)
Does that sound ok for finishing up on Magnus? I never really figured out how to synthesize stuff well, just threw junk weapons at S rank or above weapons to level their stats and augments. I do have a sweet looking SS energon sword sitting in inventory, but man the synthesis game is EXPENSIVE.

From what I can remember that's how I levelled up weapons too, just add the junk weapons to the good stuff to keep levelling them up. You don't really properly start getting SS weapons dropping until you get to Prime, so S class weapons should be OK for Magnus. The best weapons to level up are the ones specifically named after characters, as they tend to level up higher than the more generic variants. Fully levelled up SS Devastator Drills are one of the best weapons you can get in the whole game. Likewise, a fully levelled up SS Forge of Solus Prime will do lots of damage too.
