We can't thank you enough for posting these wonderful episodes of our favorite show.

Congratulations! I look forward to watching the process and seeing the finished home 🎉

He got in trouble for that ankle remark.
i saw the vid of his reckoning...
he grovelled and charmed and the "ladies of shropshire" were nice about it
very english
I didn't notice it! Who said it?
@@georgielancaster1356
reclining lady painting
from 10s 20s
tall appealing fella was appraiser
he said the model had thick ankles
"shropshire ankles"
(she didnt)...
he took flak
from actual shropshire ladies"
he charmed the hags and all was well.
Who cares wokey
The English people are do just correct and yes, refined in their speech. Their emotions are so stoic and reserved!! Totally different here in US!! But I love them anyway! So glad we won the war, good for booth does!
Geoffrey Munn. My favourite expert.
History made fun.
So I'm trying to understand if you have a house fire you aren't to save your family are pads you must save the teacup?
She's holding an umbrella
Not an umbrella but a parasoll to shield her from the hot sun.
Fiona Bruce, as ever, in tune with the working classes. In Victorian times you could go for a picnic in the country for only 18p on thye train, so easily affordable, she says. In those times servants rarely got more than 12p per week wages.
🙏
Thick ankles!! Goodness
30:53 Frankly a bird is an animal ??? 🤔🫣💯‼️
Mammal NO 🤷🏼♂️ Animal yes 😀
Мужику за скрипку дали 20 тысяч, а стоит она на аукционе от 40 до 80 тысяч.
Once upon a time one pound Sterling was one pound of silver !!!
Sadly last 3-4 years pound went Down Big time🫣Today €$£ SSDD
BUT!! One pound Sterling is like 278,57 £ in pure 925 silver…! Today Price!!!
So sad that the pound dropped so Low🫣 Hope it goes up asap!!
Was it corona or brexit???
Pound was STRONG!!!!!
Once upon a time, the British government wasted 10s of millions of taxpayer money propping up the price of the pound. Not sad that they stopped wasting taxpayer money like that.
I think I remember that these men believed the birds sang better if blind. So these men would blind the birds, to win.
These horrendous actions only stopped after WW1, due to the men who came back blind, from the war, who actually grew uncomfortable with the deliberate blinding, just to win a stupid singing contest.
That is sickening
A fantastic copy of Bronte, and that damn lousy appraiser has once again contributed to the destruction of the binding of the book by not using the elementary taught book cradle, again! He did this every single time someone brought a valuable and fragile book or papers on. He really is an amateur at handling these kinds of things
I am appalled at his insulting attitude. She didn't damage the book she rescued it and gave it proper admiration. That appraiser just seems arrogant to me.
Do you
Please don't tell me those poor skylarks were always kept in that box like he just said...ohh no no no... and they gambled on the best longest song. That's barbaric and horribly abusive!..
I'm amazed how the appraisers seem to think it's ok to touch things. The gentleman kept rubbing his fingers on the Chinese sensor. These are supposed to be knowledgeable people. In some episodes I can see the people wanting to tell the appraisers to stop. I cringe every time..
It's nice for some people to know the history however I wish they would get to the point what is it worth? Because at the end of the day that's what most people go for yet they have to make a show of it
If you don't listen to the history, you don't know why it's priced as it is.
Agreed, but the formula works. I watch these shows for the history and to guess the prices.
If that's all you want, watch the US version.
You're allowed to tell us you petulant angst.
I just never thought I'd see someone so eager to reveal their flaws.
"I WANT INSTANT GRATIFICATION AND I WANT IT NOW!"
For many of us it’s not about the money, it’s for the sheer pleasure of having the experts open our eyes to many things of interest which might otherwise have passed us by.
