- Some of you guys wanted to know how I make my texture sounds with the Digitakt. In this video I'll show you how I sometimes do this - including a Happy Accident, which is quite common for me and leads to a completely surprising result.
If you want me to explain other techniques - let me know in the comments :)

Watching you anxiously not saving the pattern at all while working on the sounds. I press save after every little adjustment :D
Haha ... this “tutorial” is an exception. When I work on a track, I constantly press save - when working with DTakt and Dtone at once, I always save both patterns. And don’t forget to lock the project set when finished ! That’s the most valuable tip ever!
I can watch this video over and over again😁
Oooh nice J i just watched it again myself !!!
Great techniques. Definitely going to be using this in the future. I'm an avid fan and am always inspired by your videos.
Hi 🙋🏻♂️ so cool, I love to inspire other people ... that’s the best thing that can happen ! Enjoy and let me know about the outcomes 🌘
Excellent tutorial! Thanks for this!
Thx Mike, glad you enjoyed :D Cheers, Mat
Such nice results from such a “simple” granular technique - again goes to show the man, not the technique makes the music! You’ve got a great sense for these subtle movements that many like me may be too impatient to even catch. Thank you so much for showing us your process in such detail!
Have you experimented with the midi loop back trick to modulate multiple parameters at once? Not that your sound seems to need it, but I imagine it could be a ton of fun for you! :D
Hey Ludwig, thanks for the nice comment! Yes, I think it’s not about technology or gear, it’s more about the ideas behind. Regarding Midi Loopback: yes I read about it and it’s on my hotlist of next thing to do. The reason I never tried is that my midi ports have been in use haha but I love the idea of getting more lfo possibilities and I want to check it out soon. Cheers, mat
Nice video! I've played around with granular stuff but always used loops, never thought of using one shot samples for it.
I did the same in the beginning. The thing with loops is that they are what they are. That is good and bad at once, but with one shots, you can tweak it much better and keep easier it alive (well, at least I do ...) :) cheers 🍻
I love it-I'll have to try experimenting more in my music
Can imagine cool combinations with your beats !
Nice stuff man I just got my digitakt after weeks of poring over it and i love using it , your videos are great, keep it up
Hey yo, I'm sure you will have loads of fun with it! And don't forget to post some of the outcomes ... It's always inspiring to see what others do with it !
Great, man. Thanks. Much appreciated.
Thx a lot, glad this helped you a bit !
Hey man, just found your channel while I´m waiting impatiently for my DT to arrive..! Very interesting to see what this thing is capable to do and how you make use of the LFO´s ..! I Think the DT will be a good support for my modular stuff..!
Oh nice, thx a lot and congrats on your purchase man! I am sure you will love it !!! Need to check Your channel !
Great job. Very inspiring 😄
Thanks for stopping by, glad to inspire your work !!
@@59Perlen- the beauty of Digitakt - always learning and discovering. 🙂
Nicely done - interesting ideas. Bought Takt and Tone together, mostly focussing on Tone (lord it's engine is DEEP - lol!), but finding the Takt does all kinds of wacky stuff as I begin to explore it. Excellent tutorial - cheers! 🙏🏼 🐜
Hey 👋 thx for watching and congrats on your new power duo! I own both as well - but decided to go DT only for now to master its possibilities. I gonna go live for a DT Set This Saturday and perform some of the tracks I posted earlier - if you want to join, feel free. And enjoy exploring 🌈
Fantastic! 🖤🎶
Hey ! Thanks a lot for the sweet comment ❤️
That’s a really cool technique, I’ll be exploring some themes around that later... Thanks for sharing, a new sub here for thee, peace ✌️
Yo, thanks a lot bro, happy you can use my Tipps ! Enjoy and thanks for subbing !
You're such an inspiration.
Aaaaaw thanks ... those ones are the biggest compliments to me ... :D
Fantastic!!! Thanks a lot 🙌
Hope that was helpful 🤩🍻🤟🏼
very informative, thanks alot!
Hi Steven, thx for tuning in 🤟🏼🤩
Nice work, thanks!
Thx for watching 🙏 hope it shares some insights ❤️
That's for sure 👍
I think this will vastly improve my Digitakt music making, thanks so much for this excellent tutorial.
Thank you! I’m glad to share my experience with you guys ... need to check out your channel soon !
Cool Tutorial. Greetings from Cologne.
Hold on! Und lass mal deine Ergebnisse hören :)
Great stuff, as always man, loving all the content you’re putting out recently! I was wondering, do you use Overbridge much? Any mastering or is it all the Digitakt we’re hearing?
Hi there dude, thx once more for tuning in! The Tutorial Videos like this Are Recorded with a simple Interface that’s connected to my phone. The Track jams are Recorded completely with overbridge as I use them for mixes sometimes - sometimes I love these and release them on EPs. With the separate stems i get with overbridge I can polish and master a little before releasing.
59 Perlen Nice! That’s good to know, thanks 🙏
Oh yes, and the Track in this Video is Not mastered or polished ... pure DT :)
Great, love it 👌🏻 What is your source of the lovely lofi piano samples?
Thank you! I think I downloaded these ones form splice.com - not my preferred source but sometimes they have nice samples!
Huhu.
Cheers :)
How 'bout this for a tutorial. Excellent.....thanks so much
Hello again :) thx for watching, I hope you can benefit from my stuff :) cheers
I only want to buy one even more now and start learning to make my own tracks
Oh Yeah ... always a good idea. Possibly the Model:Samples is a good Choice for you too if you’re just starting with Elektron (but the techniques in this video won’t work with it as it uses Digitakt only features).
O I get it, you have to have pink light to get the sound,. makes sense. where does the pink light be sold?
Hahaha great thoughts dude 🤣 actually the latest jams where recorded at daylight ☺️
@@59Perlen don't call me dude,. I'm not your bro I'm just some nothing guy that said words all over the internet
Hey, did you actually manage to make a track with what you did here?
I think i used it on This release: ua-cam.com/video/O_wPz93dKAg/v-deo.html
@@59Perlen niiiiice:)
😌 thx 🙏
