      @J Z you can NOT just pull numbers outta your ass like Google doesn't exist...
      Ben Simmons never shot well, and showed zero potential to do so. This kid can shoot, but there are way more sub 50 percent shooters that shooting over.... Especially wing guys.

    • @joelreed534
      @joelreed534 5 років тому +1

      J Z the kids 18 dude he can fix his shot he’s got a fairly decent mid range touch, I think he’s still getting used to his massive growth spurt give him time to adjust and hey if it’s still broken in a year or two than you have a point but right now you’re judging harshly

    • @joelreed534
      @joelreed534 5 років тому +3

      J Z hey I’m just saying Give him time he’s working really hard now and that’s evident... I’m not saying give him a pitty party I’m saying let him adjust to his body, his constant growth spurt plus the muscle he’s putting on... it’s not easy to adjust to all of that... I say let’s give him some leniency when it comes to his shot right now (not his defense)... I think if he fixes his shot and becomes a decent defender he can be a special player... this is just my opinion though, we’ll see what happens in a couple years though cus to be honest none of us really know... he’s just an 18 year old kid with a lot of potential...think about it the kid grew over a foot in 3 years... that’s not normal

      @J Z But, you're negative and upset at Melo succeeding. That's funny!

    • @KoreyHill
      @KoreyHill 5 років тому +10

      @J Z Well "enlighten" him; believe in him! I'm not hearing that on what you're saying b/c you could at least see his potential and support his grind. Instead, you talk about his missed shots and not how he can actually ball. Yes, he has potential to do great, but you'd rather be stuck on the missed shots. It's not even about compliments; it's just about uplifting great talent to get better. You see what I'm saying?

    • @KoreyHill
      @KoreyHill 5 років тому +1

      @J Z It's not to say to not push him but to encourage. You missed the point, but don't assume who I am b/c my videos on my channel speaks for themselves. I know what it's like to work hard at what you love. You're sitting up here making a fool out of yourself all b/c of positive action this way. But, at the end of the day, remember to encourage. You can definitely learn from this. I grew up near Memphis, a blue collar city. Please, don't sit there and assume to know Korey. By the way, since you took it to that level, I wouldn't want to listen to you due to your writing skills and discouraging vibes. You can leave that with yourself. Anything else? I'm still standing on positive encouragement at the end of the day.

    • @KoreyHill
      @KoreyHill 5 років тому +1

      @J Z You now all of a sudden want to start writing very technical and tell me of hard work. It's all just work, rather easy or hard. I grew up in Covington, near Memphis (very rural). It's okay Justin. I respect you for what you have accomplished. You don't have to keep trying to have the upper hand. You're a Tennessean that knows of "hard" work. I respect it.

      @mike dollars wouldn't say more talent but there skill level is def higher, the reason they don't get drafted is because a lot of these players are older. Also even if you look at duke and kentucky a player like RJ would have been a star on those teams and he was coming off the bench on a team that didn't even make playoffs. Another player Terry Armstrong who was a 4 star recruit didn't get any playing time because he wasn't good enough and again he was on a non play off team.

      If he goes to a trash team he'll be given 2-3 yrs to work on shot selection. But as it stands he's gonna be ball dominant. See Harden, Luka, Trae, Ja Morant. LaMelo will be asked to score and facilitate at a high level. I don't expect him to have a great FG% initially. He NEEDS to be 80% + from the free throw line. That should be the 1st order of business IMO.

      @BS10258 5 років тому

      @J Z LaMelo's jumper doesn't look smooth but it isn't broken like Lonzo, Fultz or DSJ. I think he will develop into a serviceable shooter in the NBA. Half of the 1st rounders were from SEC and ACC schools and LaMelo has a higher ceiling than most of them. Lonzo Ball has 3 triple doubles in his NBA career and LaMelo is way more developed than he is. LaMelo has the size handles and basketball IQ to make an immediate impact. I can see the case for J Wiseman going #1 but I would not take any of the other players you mentioned over LaMelo this summer.
