Really disappointed I have a 19 month old and that is way too late for him. I guess we might have to pay for tickets close to Christmas when they do the holiday without the party.
Hello.. so excited for the after hours Christmas event…. But you mentioned the HEA fireworks… it would be the new Disney Enchantment for the 50th. … but I Sure Hope that it’s 2 fireworks show on the party nights!
As a European disney fan, I'm kinda upset at paris... the price of the new "fastpass" is honestly so overpriced. It's the same exact system as the old fastpass, but no longer for free.. I know for a fact a lot of people are not happy about this 🙄
@@lidia_gomez I highly doubt it.. I think by doing this they're trying to get some more money in the bank after being closed for a year. It's understandable they're having it difficult right now but disappointing the fans won't do them any good either 🤷🏼♀️
I think getting into the parks is already so expensive that having to pay for fast passes is not a good thing for the guests. It makes me sad. I hope they don’t implement it at Disney World.
The lower price tag of a ticket into Disneyland Paris might factor into the acceptability of the "premier pass". You can get a day ticket for less then 50 bucks for most days, compared to the current min 100+ for US Disney Parks. There's no way I'm gonna pay for fast passes after forking out so much just to get in.
@@JP-et9hv I said the same thing. DW lines are super long for some rides and it started to be such a turn off that I just started to go to Universal. I went to DW during the Pandemic and that was the only time I was able to ride EVERYTHING finally out of 12+ years I have been going.
@@GrossFamily457 The reason the standby lines at WDW have been so long is BECAUSE of the free fastpasses. They started getting to the point where they were giving out essentially too many fastpasses, or letting too many people through the FP line vs the standby line. That's why the standby lines were so long. If that amount of people standing in the standby line during fastpass times had no one to compete with, those standby lines would FLY! Even putting everyone in the same line makes them a fraction faster, too. If you have to PAY to use FP (like you have to do at Universal), then that significantly reduces the number of people using the FP system and puts them all in standby. Thereby making it much easier to move everyone through. Hence why the wait time said 45 min for Jungle Cruise but was only 27-30 min. They must be using pre-no FP time and line distance metrics to estimate the line time (ie, people who typically stand "here" at this point of the line will wait "this" amount of time because that's what it's always been), rather than running the little red card through the line with a guest like they used to. I'm kind of glad FP hasn't come back yet, and I MUCH prefer the old FP system of going up to the line and getting a return time IN PERSON. That's what the Paris "standby pass" sounds similar to- the old FP system.
Do you think people will ever get to the point where they say Disney isn’t worth it anymore? People just dismiss it as hey that’s Disney, but it’s going to get even more crazy expensive.
Yes I’ve booked to come from the UK next august I could by a brand new small car with the cost of the holiday. Having to book parks and fit dinning bookings into this, pay for fast passes and use a app to queue before you queue would be too much restriction and extra cost for me, my holiday would be cancelled. I really hope this doesn’t happen.
My family had our first trip to Disney 4 years ago and we loved it so much. We didn't stay on resort at the time but we knew we would be back and stay on resort because of all of the perks. 4 years later we will be staying on resort but with hardly any of the perks from back then and it's very disappointing. I get that covid changed things a lot but it seems like these changes aren't covid caused and this will likely be our last stay at disney for quite some time.
@@fatboi62188 That's sad but very understandable. Eventually it will be out of reach for normal folks. I have 3 days booked in Disneyland Paris this November, my dream trip which we got a good deal on. I couldn't afford Orlando, been there once on a shoestring in 2009 but from Ireland it is just too expensive now. 😔😔
My oldest son works for a plastics manufacturer here in Pennsylvania, and he just showed me pictures of their latest project. They are making the colored plastic/polymer side panels for the Disney Monorails. He showed me photos of the production line with the panels for Monorail Orange and Monorail Teal. So maybe Disney is finally going to upgrade the Monorails.
Standby is designed to push people to other areas of the park to avoid crowd buildup. People in line can't spend money. People semi-committed to riding a ride will tend to spend money on food/concessions/games so its a cheap way to monetize waiting in line.
Pretty soon it’s going to just be too expensive for most families to go to Disney anymore. It’s already difficult but implementing the paid passes and increases ticket prices and food prices are just killing the common people who enjoy taking their kids.
I can see how it may look like a good idea in principle however you go onto the app’ and reserve a time (say it’s 10am when you do this), your return time may not be until 2.30pm and you cannot ride another ride in this period. So in theory, you could be in the park for 4.5 hours and only ride one ride, on account of you not being able to hop into any other queue. They will let you queue at DLP at the very beginning of the day (and sometimes the end, if it’s not too busy). What makes is worse is that there are no cancellations allowed and you can’t switch it out for another ride either. Be careful what you wish for in WDW - I’m personally done with DLP as a result of this and I’ve been 15+ times (many of those at Club Level). It’s killed it for me. They introduced a system like this for certain character meet and greets in 2018/19 and it was pretty bad (very difficult and stressful to get a reservation via an app’ called ‘Lineberty’) but given that everything else was ‘normal’ then (i.e. you could still jump in line for other things), you just accepted it. It can’t be denied though that it does take away the magic. I don’t want to be glued to my phone in a Disney park. To book the character meet and greets you’re constantly checking the time, thinking ‘oh I can’t go on ‘Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop’ right now as I need to book a meet and greet with Olaf for my son’. That was too much, I can’t imagine a full day of that - no thanks. Chapek is determined to destroy Disney.
@@kyliedavies6757 I hadn't thought of it like that. You're right, it would be very limiting and stressful. Chapek will definitely destroy Disney. Walt wanted his parks to be welcoming and fully accessible to all who entered through the gates. Now, it seems like the Disney experience is becoming more and more limited.
I could listen to Tim talk all day. His voice is so soothing. No way would I pay for a fast pass. I love Disney but they are surely getting ridiculous with charging people more and more. Thanks Tim for all the information ❤
The old fastpass wasn’t “free”. You paid for it as part of your ticket. Now, they want you to pay for it twice. I’ve already cancelled my (twice postponed) February trip to DLP over this.
Trust me, you won’t need fast pass for DLP in February. It’s my local park (before COVID I went 10-15 times a year) and did you time it right you won’t wait more than 15 mins in a que in February (going on a weekday, doing ‘star’ attractions at the end of the day). Most rides are a walk on.

Thanks for the videos! We’re currently under an intense lockdown in Australia yet again (our terrible government letting us down) and watching the outside world gives a little bit of hope.
Our last trip was the end of January 2020. I talked to some cast members and even went to MK's City Hall. All the cast members agreed the fastpass system (the one before the pandemic closure) caused longer wait times in the standby lines and Disney knows this. Offering paid fastpass is nothing more than greed. There was a lot of people (cast members as well) on the message boards with warnings about Chapek. They were right. Good information Tim.
I've run line-ups for autographs at a major convention, and we used a method similar to that "line's closed, come back at this time" system for our lines, and _generally_ it worked out pretty well (assuming that the line was moving at all). I could see some chaos ensuing when they tell people to come back at 1PM, but then the ride shuts down, so by 1PM there's still plenty of existing line and no room for new people. They'll figure it out though.
Honestly Im a big fan of lower crowds we have attended halloween and Christmas parties so I would pay for the after hrs event. I also really enjoy the parks at all lit up.
I will have no problem paying for my FastPass, as long as tickets stay around the same price, or go down slightly. I think Tim had a great point about the lines moving faster now that there is no Fast Pass. I remember I waited longer in the FastPass line then the people in the Stand by line once for a ride.
Really like these vids where it’s just you chatting about theme park news and giving your opinions/taking us on some rides 👍 It’s kind of inevitable that Disney would eventually try to upcharge for fast pass, but no less annoying when it actually happens. I feel like we should also have free virtual queue systems for every ride though. Virtual queuing should become as normalised as single rider lines, to give guests more time to enjoy the park without having to be physically in line, not to mention spending more money in gift shops/restaurants which should be music to Disney’s ears...
Having been to Paris a few years ago, it is a confusing park at the best of times and the App is a nightmare. There are going to be a lot of people thinking they are getting a fastpass and not a pass to join the end of the line. To be honest, Rattatouie is probably the only ride worth doing this on.
The best waitingline thing that I have seen and experienced is the online waiting line, they have it at walibi holland. And I flipping love it. Because jou have an app where you select the coaster you want to ride wait in the virtual que and when the timer is done you have 15 min to get to the ride and let a employee scan your qr code and then you enter the real que which is max 15 min and while you wait there you can enter another virtual waiting line. And its all free and I absolutely love it. You guys should sometime come to Europe and the Netherlands
Wow so much is happening.. Awesome job Tim , a lot of great information. Wish I was able to travel to experience everything in person. But as long as I have my tablet and You Tube it's like being there Thanks...♥️
As someone who's mostly been to Paris I'm in favour of premiere pass. There are literally two ride times there: fast pass heavy 2hr+, and 20 minute walk on even in the height of summer. Also its a park with lots of extra bits outside the rides that you miss if you're rushing around. I think they are trying to alleviate the pressure on certain rides (especially in studios) before the new lands and updates.
I cant believe it’s been a year since I found your channel! so fortunate that I get to experience these new vids everyday I love them so much! great work
Awww man, I’m so sad I missed you in Magic Kingdom. When you were walking in, I was heading from splash mountain to haunted mansion. I saw the rainy day Mickey cavalcade as well, but I was sitting under the yellow umbrellas enjoying my Plaza ice cream parlor ice cream cookie sandwich. So happy they’re open again!
Been watching for years love all the videos my family and I watch every time you post hope to meet you and your wonderful family someday be safe and enjoy your time in the parks
Reading between the lines of what you have said about standby pass , it comes across as a good thing, so it would be say a 45min wait at 9am but you cannot get on ( its at capacity ) you get a time to come back for around 3pm to start your 45min wait, that is a lot better than a ( in some cases ) 2+hour wait !, GREAT informative vlog as always .
The only problem is you can only do one stand by wait at a time. So, if it’s 9 am and you’re return time is 3pm, you basically have to sit and wait around. It’s a flawed system but I’m pretty sure they’ll find a way to mess it up even further.
When you started explaining the Paris Fast Pass / Not Fast Pass, I was immediately reminded of the conversation between Michael Palin and Eric Idle (not to leave the room, even if he comes with us...)
The DL Paris “standby pass” sounds like how Gideon’s runs their lines. Short/manageable lines are reg standby but if the line gets too long they switch to a virtual queue. The “standby pass” is the in-acted virtual queue?
In theory, yes. I know some people that returned at their given time and still had to wait 45 minutes in the physical line. So the system definitely needs to be adjusted. But I heard of others that basically had a walk on experience, so like Tim said, it could be a good system, if it's done right.
Disneyland Paris had premiere passes before. Also when we stayed in a suite/castle club at the Disneyland Paris Hotel (like concierge level or club level rooms), it comes with unlimited VIP fast pass!!!
I understood what you meant about the Disneyland Paris/ standby line stuff. I think that’s an amazing and efficient way to deal with lines. Great idea!
With Disneyland paris as my nearest park, I’m sad they are doing that to the park. With all the work going on the studio park you literally have nine attractions in that park so closing lines would really narrow down the time guests are going to spend in that park 🙁
Those bees triggered a childhood memory at Epcot. We were by the “jumping water” area and I was stung by a bee on my chin. My mom took me to first aid and they gave me a Benadryl. After that we went to the America pavilion for the show I slept through the whole thing thanks to the Benadryl and my mom was so mad at me.

I look forward to the next videos and traveling along side you guys on this side of the camera! And who knows maybe I’ll be lucky enough to run into you guys at one of the parks! Being a Universal and Disney pass holder has its perks sometimes! ❤️
I can just see Jenn' rolling her eyes and/or letting out an audible aaggghh! every time Tim says, "we'll put a link to that video down below" haha
Ah yes, a Fresh Tracker Video to end my evening.
My thoughts exactly!
Thanks for watching! :-)
Yes. Always nice to hear Tim's kind voice. Relaxing with a bit of park news. A Casey's Dress!
Thanks for the videos!
We’re currently under an intense lockdown in Australia yet again (our terrible government letting us down) and watching the outside world gives a little bit of hope.
Take care! Hope the situation gets better, and the lockdown is over soon
Awesome you caught 2 little lizards trying to get in the barbershop window at 1:09!
As a former jungle skipper those changes are interesting... Its nice to see this ride getting new things.
Thanks for stopping to talk to us when you were headed into Tomorrowland! It made our day to see you! (Hi Jenn and Jackson!)
Omg the little girl on the outro! Her little outfit is sooo cute!
Thanks for all of your hard work Jenn!
I believe the plugs in the emporium are for displays/displaying items that plug in. Don’t quote me on it 😉
Appreciate all the hard work! Been watching you guys for years :)
You can tell Tim’s excitement about the cookie stroll 🤣 Also, great editing Jen!! You rock.
Bumble Bees are the Teddy Bears of the bee world! 😄
Can’t wait for Christmas! I’m ready to put my tree up now. 🎄
Excited for all of your future holiday videos! That candied bacon looks sooooo good!!
Some how I cannot justify paying $10 for a slice of bacon. AND I LOOOVE BACON!!
But it's thick
✨candied bacon ✨
@@Pop_Candyz yes it is but I still won't justify that cost. I value my swine too much.
Cranking up these uploads guys 😊. Now time to watch before bed!
Love when I'm early to a Tracker video! Cool to see changes coming to the Jungle Cruise, can't wait to see the finished project!
Honestly Im a big fan of lower crowds we have attended halloween and Christmas parties so I would pay for the after hrs event. I also really enjoy the parks at all lit up.
If I was a duck I would definitely live in Disney World.
Perfecting timing to wind down before bed ☺️
Glad to see Tim bringing back a more update\parks news video segment.
Love ❤️ your awesome 😎 family it brings happiness to my life experiences thank you 🙏🏻 Tim Tracker and family
I assume you meant 9pm - 1AM for the holiday party after hours.
Evelyn's outro at the end was so adorable! 🥰💖
Ahh the gingerbread shingles!! We were down last November and I was so disappointed that they didn't have them. Thanks for the updates!
Disney is outpricing themselves
I was feeling under the weather until I saw this new video thank you for being an awesome family love the theme park content ☺️
I love the news updates while in the park. Coming to you from the hub grass!
Ughhhh waiting for my husband to finish watching a video so we can watch y'all!!! Always look forward to The Tracker time of day
I cant believe it’s been a year since I found your channel! so fortunate that I get to experience these new vids everyday I love them so much! great work
Can't wait!!!! Heading to Disney next week 🔥🔥
Enjoy your vacation👍 I'm going in November.
@@aprieto7998 Oo I’m going July 25th😊😊
Have fun!!!!
Thanks for the update Tim!!!
Been watching for years love all the videos my family and I watch every time you post hope to meet you and your wonderful family someday be safe and enjoy your time in the parks
A nice quiet video. Really enjoyed it. Thanks
That was good to see the Magic Kingdom and hear about Disney News
Thank you for posting regular videos, such a hard working family
Really enjoy ur videos Tim ! Hope to meet u one day when I get back to Disney world
Thank you Danny! Hope you get to come back to Disney soon!
When you started explaining the Paris Fast Pass / Not Fast Pass, I was immediately reminded of the conversation between Michael Palin and Eric Idle (not to leave the room, even if he comes with us...)
Stand-by pass is a little like Tapu-Tapu, but it just tells you the wait time like the app does?
Perfect end to my night. Watching with my 2.5 years Hunter. He loves your videos. So do I.
Might that boulder at the beginning of the Jungle Cruise be a map of the ride?
Your videos get me through until I can visit again. Thank you.
I think you explained the Paris system really well and it sounds like a great idea. I like the new system and I hope they do it in America.
So excited for our first Christmas at Disney! 💕
I understood what you meant about the Disneyland Paris/ standby line stuff. I think that’s an amazing and efficient way to deal with lines. Great idea!
Thanks for explaining the new fast pass system in Paris!
