I wasn't aware of the Black Panther Salute and now that I've looked it up and know what it means I will now be compelled to respond to any Demo doing this taunt with absolute sincerity. Spy's still getting his head smashed in though
This taunt wins me over with the consistency to the individual characters alone. I mean it's a wonderfully animated tuant that can be used for some funny moments. But I love the attention to detail for some characters. Like how Soldier doesn't realize he's holding a peace sign and then throws it down. Or how Spy holds up two fingers at first and then crosses them behind his back, and I love that you actually had the fingers crossed behind him. Stuff like that is why I love the creative side of the TF2 community. Amazing work as always Hypo, you have my vote!
I'm going to assume Scout wasn't part of the group at 1:13 because he genuinely would have responded to the peace gesture. Dude is so desperate for friendship he wouldn't waste an opportunity like that
what i like about this taunt that it is quite short, recent taunts like th mourning mercs and the unleashed rage were pretty long so kudos to you for that
I usually hate the overly fluid and bounciness of current workshop taunts, but you did a great job at balancing it by making sure all the motions ease in nicely and dont shake everywhere, everything is sharp!
You what would be funny, using this taunt during Saxton hale mode. I imagine Saxton player will either get confused or Mows down the entire team of hippies like Saxton hale did in the comics.
Oh, it could've been a choice type taunt, where pressing M1 would make mercs show the banner and pressing M2 will make them take a marker to make a cross ❌ on the banner, changing their behavior to more aggressive(No Peace basically). To add creativity, they can do No Peace in their own style, like Pyro just burning the banner with a lighter or Heavy crushing it in half.
Imagine you push with Uber as almost all of the team is supporting you and as you get to the point to cap it the enemy team (next to their engineer nest) all just pull this taunt out. Like what do you even do?
Engi, Medic, and Sniper look like they pull it out after being caught in a bad position, trying to weasel their way out. It definitely feels true to their characters and playstyles.
I really like this, this is highly incredible and really want this in the game. Tho it feels like they put the sign up a little too quick, but overall id love to see this in the game!
