- Sky News host James Macpherson has reacted to US President Joe Biden’s teleprompter fail.
President Biden was at a media conference with two teleprompters set up to help him.
“More people die from extreme ... floods, hurricanes and tornadoes combined. Say that again. Combined,” he said.
“What a disaster,” Mr Macpherson said.
And yet, there's still millions that will vote for him. THAT'S the most frightening part.

A lot of elderly people experience cognitive decline and many of them either refuse to recognize their failing condition or insist they’re “fine” because they aren’t even aware of their mental deterioration. But none of these people have their finger on the nuclear trigger. He has to go.

It's harsh but true that my impression is that neurologists believe that the more cognitive reserve you have when you enter into dementia, the likelier you tend to be to hold onto your faculties longer.

My Dad has Parkinson's and in the last year now has Parkinson's dementia. Common symptoms are shuffling feet, raspy voice, stooped gait, problems staying awake and something called 'Stone Face'. According to Parkinson's Foundation, "When the movements of the face are rigid or slow to respond, it can result in a mask-like expression that appears to lack emotion. This is known as facial masking, stone face, or Parkinson’s masked face. The scientific term for masked face is hypomimia."
This is Biden. He didn't even have to speak during the debate. All you needed was to see that look on his face that dementia patients get. The mouth always open, the eyes lost, not much facial emotion even when he got mad and on my TV I could see what looked like drool on the corners of his mouth. You could tell as he rambled that he would forget the question. He wasn't tired. He wasn't sick with a cold. He has dementia. The decline over the past four or more years is obvious and those making excuses are just kidding themselves. Dementia or not he wasn't a good president.

Susan, I am Irish, so I can be a bit more subjective - I am appalled at both Presidential candidates, and in reply to one of Biden's statements when asked about the cognitive test, even drivers of a car are, in most countries, mandated to take a driving/cognitive test every year beyond age 70. In a proper democracy he would have stepped down the day after the debate, but the disUnited States of America is no longer anything resembling a democracy; if America was then former President Trump would be safely in jail for his, and there is no fog of doubt at all, attempt at insurrection on 6th January - in a previous era, he would have got the electric chair for treason. This is why the world is no longer shocked at what happens in America - my prediction, and it is thanks to both the Democrats AND Republicans, is that in less than thirty years our history books will be referring to the former United States of America, just like they had to refer to the former Soviet Union - and it is due to both parties fundamental belief in their leader, and we know where that got Germany eighty years ago. And it was not only 12 days before the debate but, for the 7 days leading up to the debate he was locked in his house "preparing" for the debate. In this video the answer to the question is cut out and is replaced by the ending of the press conference. Don’t believe me? Google White House July 2nd press briefing and the reporter asks her question around the 11:00 minute mark of the press conference (time depending on which video you watch).
The press secretary does answer the question instead of this edited video where it appears the press secretary ends the press conference.
The host of the video then goes on to lie and claim that the press secretary provided no answer to the reporter’s question. Which is just straight up false.

That would require a constitutional amendment. And then there are the questions of which test, who will administer it and how the results should be interpreted. The test (really a screening test for dementia) is only on component of the diagnostic process.
