ad libitum is basically necessary for the deck tho. it’s what lets you use mirrorjade’s effect twice in a turn and is a better extender than dramaturge, since dramaturge just summons itself, but ad libitum summons any despia or fusion, meaning you could even get back your aluber to search if you wanted to. dramaturge isnt as useful because you really don’t need an extra deck monster negate as much as your banish you get from mirrorjade.
I think you're absolutely right. I had a conversation with someone that showed me how to better use Ad Libitum, so I decided to include him in my deck. I still have a lot to learn, no doubt.
Hello, some comments as a despia player. Ad libitum is really necessary, to recycle mirrorjade and/or your other fusion monsters. Also Nibiru doesn’t stop splight quite well if they go for gigantic first as it stops monsters higher than level/rank/link 2 during that turn
Thank you for commenting. Somebody at locals helped explain to me why Ad Libitum is important in the deck, so I added him in. As for the Nibiru comment, I believe you're also right. I've been siding Dimensional Barrier against Spright instead.
Few questions: 1. Do you feel like the multiple light monsters brick? If I run 3 allure I try to cut down to 1 maybe 2 max light monsters. I run hex seal and edlich 2. Every time I use the hand traps I normally brick, especially with that many. I go with 2 droplet because even though it requires resources, your opponent can't respond, which is critical in the current meta. And if you send tragedy or edge imp, you'll get a search (tragedy from its second effect).
I don't see the multiple light monsters as a brick because they're easy to get rid of. For example, I can easily ditch Hex and Snow. Ecclessia brings out Fallen of Albaz, so she manages herself. I find this ratio for hand traps to be pretty decent, personally. It's worked out for me pretty well but there are those brick moments too. But I will say that I don't really miss running Droplets.
@@TechSummitTV Yeah I know droplet can be cost heavy and if you dont have edge imp for that cost it can get tough to use it. Only run 2 as I feel 3 is too many resources. Going first i side in 3 designator along with ash crow, d barrier and imperm. Just reassurance I can go into my combos.
You can respond to Droplet. You can’t respond with the same time of card sent to the GY for its activation is all. It’s not like Superpoly. If I have one monster, you can only send one card and I have access to the other two card types to respond.
@@afreaakofnaturee The idea is you use branded fusion to make albion, sending albaz and hex-sealed. Albion's effect then fusion summons by banishing material from the GY (the albaz and hex-sealed). This play is not good and dragoon has never been good in branded

Closed as soon as you said no ad libitum

What is the name for the extradeck- card sleeves?
They are Imperium sleeves. The Cheribum design.
They’re “Dark Cherubim Oversleeves” by Imperium Duelist
How do you summon dragoon without magican cards?
"The Light - Hex Sealed Fusion" counts as any fusion material.
Can you use this card with fusion destiny or something that special summons from deck?

@@Skarlon I kinda disagree, i mean if you can end board with dragoon, winda, masquerade and El construct at first turn. pretty nice imo
@@MrCryStaR noone plays shaddolls in branded, that was only a thing 12 months ago when despia first released
