I’m pretty sure physics in the flights are just toned down, but can easily be adjusted. People already found a glitch which allowed them to accelerate physics in custom games with a slider I think it was, meaning halo infinite does support crazy halo physics. I haven’t seen the water physics at all and the item physics is a bit buggy. The fires in the game though I feel are so much better than what this guy showed, I feel like the OP literally turned down particle graphics because everything in game looks like 50x better. As for the disappearing, yeah that is annoying.
Everything seems to disappear really fast when it comes to respawning players/items. There could be a way to fix this by adding a “death animation” where we can purchase(with game credits) different ways your “body de materializes” after dieing; or just have a default one for everyone. I feel like an addition like thhis would make halo inf feel more immersive. P.s what do you guys think ?
The first flight the physics were way more enhanced especially in beating down. Also the spawn delay on dead players and items is probably set to the lowest time because of it being a beta
the significant lack of attention to vehicle explosions was something I noticed. In Halo 3, the explosions felt they "burst out" of the shell of each vehicle, internal mechanisms combusting and overloading. In Halo infinite, its a flat, 2D Gif of an explosion and some pieces of the vehicle despawn with no smoke, fire, or burns
From the lack of detail to the dead players and destroyed vehicles disappearing in seconds to the horrid outlines on players, equipment, weapons, and vehicles... I really hope the campaign isn't as bad as multiplayer! Here's hoping this is just a side effect of the multiplier being free to play.
@@KOBULT92 not really, there has been a lot of amazing games in 2008, 9 and 2010s and, transformers war for cybertron and fall of cybertron, split second, GTA 5 and 4, Cry of fear, Saints row 2, Need for speed hot pursuit, lost planet 2. Battlefield bad company 2, BF4, assassin creed 2. I think you get the point already. I’d say the downfall happened around 2014 or 2015
Needs way more work. They literally have the reference point right THERE. Halo MCC is right freaking there! Just copy that and make it better than those older Halo games.
@@jthomas420 I'm still salty over the little changes that never had *any* reason to be made. From the ghost having two distinctive explosions (2nd one being the loud wine and float to blow after the initial explosion-banshee did this too in Halo 2, miss that in 3) and that lovely hexagon turret shield on the hog. Call it nitpicking if you want, but the call to remove that shield after 10 years of it being THE established look?? Why??
@sly dankass or maybe its because halo infinite is a much more complicated game so time cant be spent perfecting everything that's the problem when games get better but people want them made in 5he same time frame than older games even tho there so much harder to make and take way more time
Imagine eventually they make it zoom off on its own adventure before going nuclear lmao... even crazier if you're driving it and suddenly the ghost disabled all controls before taking you on a magical ride to doom
True but a comparison should he based on the games as a whole tbh these details dont tell the true story of halo infinate and the footage we have seen is from a beta that's months old because it's what the devs used them selves to test stuff so it's not even a good comparison
@@livingglowstick1337 Except Halo 3 as a whole is an amazing game. And it still had details like this. Infinite could be great too, but it has become apparent they’re glossing over many details and they’re rushing development obviously.
Definitely my biggest complaint with the game so far. The destroyed ghost looks very similar to a working one, this has led to me trying to get in one on multiple occasions.

I thought nearly everything was a better except the AR sound and maybe the sniper sound. Halo CE had great sounds. I love the grenades there. I dislike infinite’s grenades. But nothing is going to be the original trilogy probably.
@@K.i.w.1 I mean when it comes to the physics I’m sure what they gave us is pretty close to what the polished product is gonna be. They don’t even have a full 2 months until launch. It’s just an observation more than anything. I’ll still be getting the game.
@@K.i.w.1 are you stupid? The destruction physics is a part of the game engine so they are not gonna change on launch unless 343 decides to do some engine tweaking which at this stage of development is a bad idea and I don't think the flight build is older than 2 months from the build on which the team would be working on.
@@KratosisGod I would ask you the same question as neither of us now how old or complete this version is compared to the one that will come out at launch
343s biggest problem is that they don't include the heavy metallic scratching to many of the sounds, leaving explosions and the sniper feeling sterile compared to past iterations
The main difference is that theirs no after effect with infinite, while in 3 theirs less build up. Or in Infinite you know something is about to happen, in 3 you know something happened.
I love coming back to this video and seeing people say that this was just a beta, the full release will be better. The game is almost a full year out and it's still exactly the same
I can get past uninspired sound design and, at times, pretty weird looking explosions, but the vehicle destruction is what really bugs me, because it can get genuinely confusing at times. It’s weird because vehicle destruction was supposedly a focus but we saw barely any of it, and the cosmetic aspect of it is really half baked.
@@CloneLoli Exactly. Halo Infinite lacks weapon personality in terms of sound design compared to 3 hell even you could hear gunfire in the distance while in a Halo 3 match. I wonder how the distant gunfire will sound? Probably it won't be there honestly since it is an overhyped live service game.
I always wonder if the T rating trickles down into this stuff, like they're straddling this line between making a game about warfare but can't actually have any meaningful violence. There can be vehicles exploding as long as the vehicles look like mega blocks, and there can be gunfire but never any blood, fire but never smoke. It makes for a strange contrast, all of these vibrantly realistic environments and set pieces vs. the extremely muted way you interact with them
Its nothing to do with rating. Its the fact that 343 went through a development crisis making this game, hence the lack of content and lackluster graphics.
To be fair, Halo has always been effectively a T franchise. so it's probably just a stylistic choice (or it being a beta) that leads to this weird feeling with the particle effects.
@@finisterre2415 Literally no it hasn't. It was M since it's inception and had tons of blood and even other horrific concepts like the Flood which were basically space zombies, content that got it an M rating.
@@kingklipo for sure it's never been over the top, but it definitely wasn't handcuffed by family friendliness either. To be clear, I don't want to argue that this is the case. Just genuinely curious how targetting a T rating from day 1 might trickle down into other aspects of the game. Maybe it's as simple as just removing the swearing marines dialogue, or maybe it makes the game less competitive in favor of accessibility and shifts the way violence is presented.
Yea the particle effects are the one thing that really needs a buff in Infinite. Everything else I'm liking so far expect for a few small tweaks that I'm sure will be fixed for launch.
Not to be a negative og halo fan I actually am really excited for infinite, but I will say that a lot of the sound design in the original halo’s is just vastly superior than infinite’s already. It seems like they are going for more realistic sounds but just compare the spike grenade or the ghost for example, how the sounds really stand out and are unique in halo 3 compared to infinite. It’s a shame that despite being 14 years older it feels like the simple things are taking a downgrade for no real reason other than to be different
Watching this video reminds me of why I love Halo 3, and why I really hope 343 takes videos like these and does better with Halo Infinite before it launches. I really want this game to be good. Despite everything, I want to hold on to at least a fragment of hope that they can make a game that comes even a little bit close to capturing the sheer fun that Halo 3's physics and gameplay (wonky netcode notwithstanding) gave me as a teenager, and still does to this day.
@@thirunagarimadhavi8312 Nope. I specifically said Halo 3's physics and gameplay were what feel I wanted to capture, without the netcode. That's what "Notwithstanding" means. I want Infinite to capture a feel close to Halo 3, netcode *not*withstanding. Make sense?
Domt worry everything we have played and seen have been old versions of halo infinate basically so the game is deffently a lot more polished than what we have seen
The beauty of Halo 3 is how simplistic the designs of pretty much everything were. Halo 4 and onwards were just too overdesigned. The colour palette in Halo 3 was perfect also, made everything pleasant to look at as well as being able to distinguish enemies and weapons from afar.
What is it with 343 being incapable of not making such pathetic and flat explosions compared to bungie with 3 and reach? Its the one visual thing holding infinite back at the moment.
They use a different and less system taxing technique. Less volumetrics and more sprites, so to speak. I doubt they are "incapable". This seems like a design choice to optimize the game. Also it's pretty subjective on which style is better. I could go either way, but I can also understand why someone might prefer either style.
@@Will_Forge tbh id rather have a couple of frame drops than something that looks flat and zero impact. Maybe just make it an option to enable more effects and disable them for more limited hardware.
The vehicle destruction in infinite has all the excitement of a dry fart, just really piss poor. I like the infinite sniper sound better than 3, so that's something. The grav hammer tho, they massacred my boi. Super slow, less impact, less physics, with a larger damage aoe, overall a way worse weapon imo. They said they changed the needler sound in the most recent flight, but honestly It still doesn't sound right. Still too much pewpew. Instantly despawning bodies is pretty lame too. As for no blood, I think that war is already lost, microsoft wants to bring the fortnite kids over. Overall with infinite as of right now I'm like, how many nitpicks combined with other larger issues until this game is death by 1000 cuts? For every cool new thing I see there are like 3 disappointing things I find out. REALLY hoping these flights are way off what the final product will be.

Halo 3s physics also make way more sense and seem realistic. This is just the tip of the ice berg tho if u compared vehicle physics and so on halo 3 will continue to stop this game out. 343 thought if they make it look like halo and feel similar it will be halo but they forget all the small physics and details and sounds that made it halo. And this stuff adds up over time. Sure shock wave off of gravity hammer missing no big deal. Bullet decals lacking and not showing up no big deal but u add it all together and halo infinite on a more powerful console has way less an absurd amount less then halo 3. They hyped of there new damage model but it doesn’t effect physics at all. So much is wrong. I think people who play that forget why halo is and everything missing. Even player collisions gone are a big deal that change the game a ton. It’s aiming feels wonky and weird. Water has 0 physics even to bullet impacts. Not every object has physics. There is so much just wrong. Don’t get me wrong I think halo infinite has potential but I don’t think 343 will change or add the finishing touches to make it live up to it.
@@tamezzodiac2862 nah, i don't think so, if it is then why don't they bounces off Spartan armor? And don't compare to sniper rifle bullet because they travel much faster
@@spookyperson7096 ig cause Spartan armor isn’t as strong or wasn’t ment to be as strong. Some should stick some should bounce. Besides them bouncing was fun cause u could bounce the shot around corners. Tbh bullet ricocheted being gone is a huge downside
Moral of the story is that we will never get an fps like halo 3 again in our lifetime. Infinite looks good, I'm excited for it, but nothing will ever beat the magic that was 3. I remember seeing all these details at the time and being blown away at how real it felt. Now, infinite looks good don't get me wrong, but when you see details like the glass on the warthog not breaking, or the lackluster explosions, I can't help but be a little disappointed. And it's not 343's fault, it's just a fact that games now have too much going on visually to get those tiny details right
It's also because of how many different consoles this new game is on. The physics all have to be possible on the old consoles not just the new ones. This doesn't come without a cost.
Getting shot is much more noticeable in Halo 3 than Infinite, often times if I'm shooting or someone is shooting near me, I can't even tell that I'm being shot other than the grunting

Nice video, congrats. This is more or less what happened to the Far Cry franchise. The second one is so immersive, the sandbox is much more "realistic". The mechanics interact with each other and with the environment. I mean, look at the Crowbcat video about it. And then you have the new ones where the worlds are bigger, you have more weapons and vehicles, but the games are shallower, more static and predictable. Unfortunately the same seems to be happening with Halo Infinite. I know it's a tech preview, but I don't believe we will see much improvement in the sandbox physics/mechanics department. But I hope I'm wrong. These little things make the games look like they're grounded in reality. It adds depth and weight. It stimulates creativity. Although I really loved my time with the Preview, sometimes I got the feeling that I was playing with plastic toys.
Why the artists at 343incompetence are so fvcking bad at their jobs? How come something as trivial as a simple grenade explosion looked better 20 or 15 years ago?
Well it depends on what you mean. There's more attention to detail in Infinite's textures and shaders, mostly with better tech but also artistically, and Infinite has more believable Human civilization centers. Like, in that (by 2552) ancient Human bunker Crow's Next in Halo 3 there is not one pen, pencil, or notepad. In Halo Infinite there is, and also leaked Forge footage has shown they're placeable in Forge (as well as a maximum item budget of 2700, and I can't wait). Anyway, the attention to detail on the vehicles of H# is undeniably more wide ranging in its damage, for example, but the H:I pays more attention to detail on the textures of the internal vehicle components themselves. H3 had it better since it reads better to have that detailed damage over detailed textures, but I still don't think it's fair to say the attention to detail in H3 is "way" better. Just "a little" better if it's truly better at all.
@Nigward Testicles been doing it for years my guy, been an insider on mcc since the beginning. Submitted plenty of feedback. Discussion is discussion, and I can do it wherever I want, as can you. Plus You don't need community feedback to tell you about obvious downgrades like these.
all these fantastic new innovations/additions such as the refined movement system, sandbox revisions, new weapons, amazing equipment, and a gorgeous blend of every halo art style... ...yeah none of that shit matters as much as the EXPLOSION EFFECTS and CAR DAMAGE DETAILS >:( (also the plasma and spike grenades are a massive improvement especially in terms of lighting)
343 has never really nailed the weapon design. Bungie really knew how to differentiate the sounds between various weapon groups- human, covenant, brute, etc. all had specific types of sounds associated with their weaponry.
To me it seems like infinite's sounds are more "sterile" and realistic where as halo 3 seems to have more character and is almost a bit exagerated. Def enjoyed the vehicle destruction in 3 better though.
@re e Fucking most old game companies used stock sound effects and even many modern ones. DOOM is was almost nothing but stock sound effects mixed in little ways to make them unique. You are all over this comment section like a sad salty fanboy.
Halo 3 is low key the pinnacle of the series in terms of quality and details. Everything after that despite better hardware doesn't even come close. If you really pay attention to these little details you will know exactly what I'm talking about. I never understood how they could downgrade so much when they already got it right in a previous game. To me that means that they became either lazy or just don't know what they're doing. It appears that somebody else at the studio was suddenly in Charge of all of this and didn't take their job as seriously as whoever was in charge in the original trilogy
It’s due to polygons, the more complex the models and environments get the less budget they have for systems to run post processing effects which Halo Infinite is full of so they most likely had to scale the explosions back since those effects can be quite taxing as well as lead to issues with frame pacing.
Reach was just a little less "colorful" then halo 3, but detail wise and in other respects it was better. It just doesn't have as much of a nostalgia factor since the magic of halo 3 was that it came out on the 360 which was just so many leagues above the OG xbox.
@@Finestizpro Look at how low poly the environments and models are, not to mention Halo 3 has baked lighting with a few dynamic lights sprinkled about as well as no real time reflections except for one cutscene, now look at infinite which is twice the size uses dynamic lighting for its environments, higher poly count across the board, god rays and screen based reflections, not to mention it has to try and run on nearly eight year old hardware that struggled to hit 60fps in Halo 5 leading to massive cuts in resolution... clearly you know nothing about utilising resources when it comes to game development or engine management so please be quiet.

@@massid3774 it took them a year to make the game actually look like a war was happening, you think they can make proper effects and destruction physics in less than 2-5 months?
@Nigward Testicles this is supposed to be an Xbox flagship title, not some small indie game. besides, there are other issues like the fact that mp is f2p, making the campaign a questionable purchase. everyones so focused on the mp flight they forgot the campaign is a separate purchase, and that the game went through 2 directors, which ain't a sign of a stable development. let's wait and see, and tbh I kinda think the effects arent a big deal, but its still worse than a game that came out over a decade ago.

To everyone saying that "this is just a beta, everything is still in production and in a month everything is going to be better. This is unfair"... The main production for the engine of the game ended at least several months ago. The only purpose of these flights is to balance gameplay not to fix the graphics. They are not going to change graphics or the physics engine this late in development. For what it is shown in this video, this is the final product.
How does a 15 year old Halo game have better physics than Halo Infinite? The core of the game got a lot worse under 343i. Like when they decided dropped weapons should disappear in Halo 4.
Do people like the shiny red/blue cloak in Infinite's shield recharge animation? I personally prefer the subtle recharge animation in Halo 3, but I haven't found other players discussing this.
6:35 the explosions almost seem see through, the smoke isn't faded and just abruptly disappears... it's almost like more explosive layers need adding to them. I could get plugins for Final Cut that do a better job. I'm actually shocked how much better Halo 3 in compared to Halo Infinite in regards to the vehicles! You melee a bumper in Halo 3 and the bumper gets damaged and comes off... you melee a bumber in Infinite and the whole vehicle just destroys and disappears no after effects really. These are surely easy fixes as you have a game from 14 years ago as a template. A game of 14 years old should not even be compared to the latest as Infinite should be far superior but it doesn't seem to be the case. As someone who has the Infinite Xbox Series X preordered and have been playing Halo since I was 8 (when Halo CE came out), I really want to be excited for the game but it just feels very underwhelming.

It's rated M. They changed it a few months ago. Also, Halo's blood has never been why its rated M, many T games have more blood. It's always because of the Flood or Composer, or graphic deaths like Reach. ODST only got rated M because it was tied to Halo 3.

I really like how in 3 and the other old halos your camera doesn’t shake so violently. your spartan is rock steady as he man handles his reloads, as he whacks the back of that mongoose. in infinite the spartan struggles with these motions enough to give motion sickness. the old animations feel much more superhuman!

Halo infinite looks great but it is ridiculous that infinite is struggling to compete with halo 3 made 14 years ago in terms of map/explosion interaction realism. It boggles my mind , you’d think the new graphics cards and better hardware would allow developers to get much more fidelity .
rn Halo Infinite feels like 343 finally figured out the secret sauce to making a good “Halo” game, but they still need another 2 years to implement all the missing features and fine details.
It’s my belief (and hope lol) that these are unfinished, the glitchy nature of the vehicle destruction doesn’t match the attention to detail in the rest of the game. They prolly implemented older vehicle models or damage models for this flight
I like 343i's Halo games, H4 for Campaign, H5 for Multiplayer, but 343i have never been good at vehicle destruction. Everything is just over too quickly, you get a few cheap sparks, a bright yet somehow lame and flat explosion, and that's it, and then as if embarrassed by just how underwhelming the whole event was, it blinks out of existence. So based on the previous 343i Halo games, I think this is going to continue, I could be wrong, I hope I'm wrong, I really do.

The whole esports focus takes a lot away from craftsmanship.
the significant lack of attention to vehicle explosions was something I noticed. In Halo 3, the explosions felt they "burst out" of the shell of each vehicle, internal mechanisms combusting and overloading.
In Halo infinite, its a flat, 2D Gif of an explosion and some pieces of the vehicle despawn with no smoke, fire, or burns

@re e It's how you mix the sound effects to make them unique, most guns sound too similar in Infinite.

Maybe it's as simple as just removing the swearing marines dialogue, or maybe it makes the game less competitive in favor of accessibility and shifts the way violence is presented.

I kept telling people that the attention to detail on Halo 3 is way better than Halo infinite
Just "a little" better if it's truly better at all.

still convinced halo 3 has some of the best explosion effects and vehicle destruction in gaming
Destruction has basically been traded for everything else in game remember games have huge limitations you have to work around

How does a 15 year old Halo game have better physics than Halo Infinite?
The core of the game got a lot worse under 343i. Like when they decided dropped weapons should disappear in Halo 4.
It honestly feels like infinite is a step back in some regards.
Please let this message seep into 343’s studio 🙏🏾
Do people like the shiny red/blue cloak in Infinite's shield recharge animation? I personally prefer the subtle recharge animation in Halo 3, but I haven't found other players discussing this.
@@kirkydaturkey It is pretty different visually. Probably due to the glow around players at all times.
Love these Crowbcat style videos. Good work highlighting some major oversight.
I can remember time where a destroyed Warthog was my only cover and helped me make some plays. Guess those days are over huh?
This just shows how superior halo 3 is to any other halo that will ever come out.
Infinite still is fun tho.
Not reach. Reach has even more details believe it or not
@@theonlythingihavetosayis9333 Yea Reach in most ways was superior to 3 even if people don't want to admit it. The only thing is that the AI and level design of the campaign in 3 was goated, and there were some annoying mechanics (like armor lock) that didn't bother people in social slayer.
@@publiusthefederalist6843 reach sucks

I would love to see this same video again in like a year and see if they fixed or changed any of this
They won't. IT will look the same if not worse
Hmmmm
It's better now?
@@brayanvalencia919 oh god has it been a year 💀
I always wondered why when developing new entires in a series like this it seems like some things take an obvious step backwards in terms of details. Like, what made halo 3 strive for those little details as opposed to a far more technologically advanced version of the same game (sort of)
Because the graphics were nowhere near as detailed and the game engine already existed and the game was fully released not still 2 months from release and the controls sucked ass. Halo 2 and 3 were near halo ce clones with improved graphics and a few new weapons
@@ThomasNosey lol if you are serious that's some delusional nonsense my friend.
@@ThomasNosey fair points but I don’t think a new engine means they couldn’t have added more details in a similar fashion to the older games. It’s just omitting small details that couldn’t be too hard to program back in
It's a shame that 343i and Microsoft want to cater to the Fortnite kids and make a rated T Halo. It really sucks not having any blood in the game anymore. I'm at least hoping campaign has blood like in Halo 5. If not I'm going to be kind of pissed.
It's rated M. They changed it a few months ago. Also, Halo's blood has never been why its rated M, many T games have more blood. It's always because of the Flood or Composer, or graphic deaths like Reach. ODST only got rated M because it was tied to Halo 3.
@@MistahFox that's false, it's rated T. it was rated 'M' in australia, which is the equivalent of a T
@@tehlion7430 there are. T games that are more violent than bungie halos, the classification back then was M because of swearing
@@sebastiansuazo2734 i'd agree if 343 didn't purposely tone down elements from previous halos like blood splatter, there's literally none in infinite
@@tehlion7430 splatter isn't there but when you kill a rat, a chicken, or that capybara looking thing they turn into red mist. Makes me think if it just isn't in yet. Also Forerunner weapons make targets scream while disintegrating.
When are they gonna stop calling things
“next gen” anytime I expect games to be better they’re always better in the most boring ways, we are in such an advanced age in graphics and psychics just to back track visually??there should be no reason why we have such bland animations and despawning so quickly ..blows my mind
I agree. I still hold that games peaked visually with AC Unity back in 2014. Nothing has come close to that level of improvement since.
It isn’t strictly a “next gen” title though, so this comment is kinda made redundant by that fact alone.
@@EmeraldBayMovies
Unity? Really?, are you seriously going to use that game as an example XD
@@MelStaub It was buggy as hell but totally unfinished, but graphically the game was ahead of its time. That's why I specified "peaked *visually*"
@@EmeraldBayMovies
I personally think it doesn’t really look any better than Black Flag
I really like how in 3 and the other old halos your camera doesn’t shake so violently. your spartan is rock steady as he man handles his reloads, as he whacks the back of that mongoose. in infinite the spartan struggles with these motions enough to give motion sickness. the old animations feel much more superhuman!
halo infinites sound design is meh, and from this comparison.. can't believe how good halo 3 still is.
The sound design is crazy, what are you talking about?
@@sakuradabp6400 Sound design is generic.
@@Prehistoeif Where have you heard the same sounds if it's so generic?

The greatest atrocity of all is still the backwards facing passenger seat in the mongoose
I'm most annoyed at the gravity hammer not imparting the gravity and shit, that's something that made griffball so fun and actually having a skill ceiling
Repulsor kinda does that
Halo 3: Ah shit! It's broken.
Halo Infinite: oh no... our table... it's broken...
6 years of development.
6 years
What was 343 doing all that time ?
Being completely incompetent.
Why do the vehicles and just like metal in infinite look like megablocks
343 are just simply bad game developers
343 can’t make halo games. That’s the fact.
@@MRJBS117 something tells me you haven’t played the beta for halo infinite
@@MRJBS117 Halo Infinite is definitely an amazing Halo tho. Definitely in the top 3 for me. The only actual issues are explosions and physics and both of them are a bit disappointing. (Even though they don't affect gameplay) As for details and bodies despawning too quickly, people accidentally found a slider for those details anyways, so yeah...
they need to bring back the bullet ricochet effects. that was one of the most enjoyable parts of halo when you get a random kill off of a missed sniper shot or a double kill.
Halo 3 is the most soul you can put into a Soulfull game, Halo Infinite is the most soul you can put into a Soulless game
Halo infinite is still better though
blowing things up has never been so dull in halo
Bring back the Phantom explosions from Halo 3. Most satisfying thing ever.
This shows how 343 doesn't pay attention to detail, and take shortcuts if need be.
Honestly Halo 3 graphics are partially outdated, but the fine tooth comb says otherwise!
I guess you’ve never seen infinites other details.
@@d30n6 Yawn!
@@d30n6 Care to point out Infinites *"Attention to Detail"*?
343 pays plenty of attention to detail, just that the AAA studios as a whole seems to not really care for physics in games much. It’s sad, but at the end of the day will it ruin the game? Not really. Even then, I think infinite looks pretty promising.
Halo 3 is better in almost every way. Especially the sound effects
Art, sounds, effects, music, AI, even graphics, It's sad when even a 2004 game beats you in everything, mark my words, this is going to be worse than cyberpunk 2077, and that's good because at least, if Microsoft is smart, it will finally get rid of 343

The famous "advanced vehicle destruction"
Having different layers of textures and wheels without tires is not what I call advanced destruction 🤔
Yup. Its actually very depressing how we've waited this long just for the game to have terrible physics and graphics. Don't get me wrong, the scenery often time looks great but player shields, electricity, explosions, vehicle destruction, player outline, its just so sad tbh. Hopefully the game will be good at launch.
@@phlemtaco6623 I doubt it will last. With missing key features at launch how in the world is this game gonna hold up? It's all about Seasons and Battle Passes regarding to Infinite not making a good genuine Halo experience that your could come back to anytime you want.
@@Prehistoeif I already burnt out. I played it a ton first flight loved it second flight just I didn’t care anymore
This is my problem with infinite, the impressive graphics aren't backed up by reactive details, makes the world feel like a laser tag arena that someone has to go and clean up between matches
I hope 343 have seen this! Great video, the particle fx and destruction def need a lot of work. Especially the cartoony explosions
Do you think they Will improve this? Im not so sure, And Its a bad feeling, you know.
halo infinite outlines need to GO PLEASE.
One thing that Differences 343 from Bungie : Attention to Detail , Bungie have it ,343 don't.
Actually in infinite you can shoot tires off and it effects how the vehicle handles same with the ghost banshee and pretty sure hornet idk about the scorpion yet haven't seen much from that personally and also the paint straps off on vehicles and armour in finatae while it dosent in halo 3 this video is very biased to halo 3 as it only shows things halo 3 does and not halo infinite it would be better to watch a fullbsetailed video on all the details in halo infinite
@@livingglowstick1337 bullshit, you have 2021 you should have more details or the same amount of them, but none of that Is valid here.
They delayed this game for a full year for what exactly? Makes me wonder if they should delay it again. Also makes me thankful they delayed it in the first place - I would have HATED to see what 343 came up with prior to the delay and bring Joseph Staten back on .
I dont think you understand what a beta is it's a test ot a finished product your playing on a dev build that is made to be the most stable version of the game so it works the best not looks the best these tests havent been about the looks it's the game play and the build is already months old as it will be a old dev build

At least everything was there for Halo 3 since it wasn't a crappy live service game
How can a decade old game look better with most of the things shown in this vid. The exploding vehicles glowing red in infinite looks silly.
Halo infinite does look better though
Also it isn’t finished
343 will never understand what made Halo great. Same reason I haven't purchased a single Halo game since Halo Reach.
Uhhh what?
the sniper rifle and needler not bouncing anymore is because thats what the forerunner guns are specifically for.
Which takes away cool moments like a sniper shot ricocheting around a room a million times and randomly hitting someone.
@@DMF1171 then use a forerunner sniper?
unsc good against health
covenant good against shield
electricity disables vehicles
forerunner bounces off walls
@@attatara5364 I know they are trying to add depth to the game, but the sniper and needler were iconic guns for those reasons. It just feels like it’s missing.
So they had to butcher older weapons to make the new ones more relevant? That's just lazy game design right there
promethean weapons suck ass nobody cares about those pieces of garbage
Still can’t beat the original needler idk man halo 3 feels more real every weapon has weight to it bungie still made a better halo sorry guys that’s my opinion I mean come on it was there’s in the beginning anyway
Plasma grenade went from a deadly grenade to a fucken exploding paintball
This reminds me of the time I took in Halo 3 punching warthogs just to see parts of it fly off
Since 343's inception, they have proved time and time again, they have absolutely no concept of attention to detail. I respec this is an older build, but I'm absolutely sure the release product won't be much different.
No the video is just biased to halo 3 by showing the details halo 3 has but not the ones halo infinite has like paint chipping on armour and vehicles being able to destroy thrusters sand tires and propellers on vehicles and a lot more just go watch a video on the details of halo infinite instead of halo 3
So we say halo 3 eats halo infinite in breakfast
The effects and explosions are one of my biggest gripes with 343s work in general. They feel lackluster and bland every time and I feel it really hurts the experience. THey have a fnatastic gameplay feel in Infinite, I hope they can bring everythign else up to par.
The explosions feel like fire ball gifs instead of explosions which is weird.
Nobody will beat bungies sound design, especially the melee sounds
6:00 I dont mind this explosion, its just the first time seeing it in the trailer I thought it was a grunt getting his arm blown off and it gave me blue balls
