Thanks Graig. I love these tricks, I have “Lessons in card mastery” and ignored this trick because of the genuine centre deal. It looks like you used a side steal which I think makes the claimed centre deal look more impossible. Brilliant 👍

He didn’t do a center deal . It was the top card
Yeah, that's true of probably 99% of center deals (that they aren't center deals, they are palm to top, or bottoms or 2nds).
Or more generally, never believe what a magician says the trick is. The vast majority of the time, they've already done the trick.
