@@addie2101 Ross, dress for less? Never been. I find really nice expensive clothes at Goodwill for super cheap. I go to the busy side of town, where all the rich college students in Gainesville, fl drop off their clothes. You really can’t beat it.
Goodwill isn’t the most ethical either, when it comes to their workers. You’re better off supporting local thrift shops

Exactly!!! And SHEINS working environments have been called out before and I just know there are many more fast fashion brands doing the same!

I love this. As an environmental scientist, I’m so tired of fast fashion and all of this consumerism that is using up vast amounts of our limited resources. I know longer watch videos or consume content that is about fast fashion and I think everyone needs to follow that. Buying second hand is so amazing and it forces you to think outside of the box and be creative. Plus a lot of it is going to be one of a kind. I would love to see you doing more videos on second hand stuff. There’s a lot of cool vintage shops and even online stores like postmark you can do videos on. Please share more about the environment and advocate for a different way of living bc our earth is depending on us. And so many people look up to celebrities and influencers on what they want to buy and how they want to live.

All the clothes do get sent to these countries, but as the clothes are such poor quality the majority is unwearable - meaning these countries are then left with all the landfill to deal with, instead of the countries who are mass producing them.
One mans trash is just another mans trash sometimes ... there are huge markets of used clothes in other countries they open bags up and people show up and dig. The problem is there is just too much ...
What they should do is send/sell them to the many of thrift stores within our own country. Like if you're gonna trash them, may as well give it to the ppl that sell "vintage/out of style" clothes already

I wanted to say that I appreciate you talking about how fast fashion is bad for the environment and in addition how fast fashion brands sometimes steal small businesses designs. I think it is important for people to know that while brands like Shein are cheap, they come at a cost environmentally and economically. Thrifting is soooo much better for the environment and also a cheap option price wise as an alternative to shopping from these brands! ♻️🌎🌱

It’s better for the environment and every little bit counts. ☺️ Also you can get amazing and unique pieces that don’t look like what everyone else is wearing, for a great price!
