Good video. No waffle, straight to the point and no horrible music. Very useful, thank you.
Thanks for the great feedback 🙂
Just bought one of these but haven’t used it yet. The video was really helpful - clear, simple, some good tips, especially on cleaning the snow foam gun after use - so many thanks 😀🙏👍
Thanks for the great feedback 🙂
Well done ,no music , no waffle , gets on with it , 👍
@johnfabriks201 Thanks for the great feedback, John 👍
Cheers for the fantastic review. I’ve just recently bought a Karcher pressure washer and now I’m going to buy one of these. It’s perfect for what I need.
Thanks Drew 👍
great video, i was confused researching more expensive products from group tests, this gave me the answer, thanks!
Thanks. I'm glad you found the video helpful 🙂
thanks for the review, was a bit worried after ordering this cannon, but your video shows that it does the job. thanks again
Thanks. The FJ6 is a decent little foam cannon. Just make sure that you run water through it after each use or it can get blocked (this applies to all foam cannons tbf).
@@bigtedshome will do, thank you 👍
Very informative video, sir. Thanks for taking the time to show us. 👏
Thanks Simon 👍
Cracking video. Concise and clear - used your approach and if worked a charm
Thanks Rob 👍
This is a brilliant review! Thanks for making this video.

Its perfectly adequate for home use 👍
Thanks Paulo 👍
Muy buen video..!! Saludos desde Argentina..!! 😎
@@DanIwanczuk Gracias mi amigo 🙂
Fantastic video. Thankyou. I’m ordering this now. While using the foam gun, does the hose (water supply) need to be connected and turned on.
Thanks Jackie. Yes, you need the water supply connected and turned on whenever you use your pressure washer. If you don't, it will destroy the pump.
thanks for the video, i was going to get a K2 unit, I understand its similar, but have you heard from others if its got the power for simple car cleaning and a bit of paver blasting
Thanks Shane. The K2 should be fine as long as you don't want to clean large areas of paving. You might find the 5m hose to be a pain when washing the car but the k2 is light enough to move around easily.
7:21 you change scene to a black Fiesta. I have had mine for 5 years now and like my previous two cars have always used a mitt or sponge with a bucket of Wash & Wax. I have found this takes a long time and although makes you feel you have actually done the work rather than a machine and you do apply more effort into the job compared to someone who used a pressure washer, it is tiring and back breaking as well as time consuming with longer time taken and more elements to the job. The main drawback with pressure washer car cleaning is you feel that this is a job more suited to hardcore petrol heads (the type who own sports cars like Golf's GTI's and Focus RS's) who spend thousands on their car. I have had a Renault Clio Expression, Mazda 2 TF and this Fiesta Titanium so hardly a massive petrol head. But I am looking forward to getting the Kaercher K2 today in time for Santa to deliver it. I am more looking forward to finding out the difference between bucket washing and using a machine that takes all the work from me.
Why should the petrol heads have all the fun 🙂 You will still have to work though as you need to use a mitt for the second stage (shampoo) and a towel to dry the car if you don't want any water marks.
Great video. Stupid question but if the water is flowing through the Lance to activate the foam do you not just add the foam neat into the container. Or does it still need to be watered down with a 5:1 ratio
It depends on the foam you are using. Most snow foams are diluted before adding to the foam cannon. The water flowing through the lance further dilutes it to the correct concentration.
Excellent big ted.thanks
Car looks great
Thanks 👍
Thanks, good to see what's supposed to happen
Thanks Aidan 👍
Great video, thanks.
Thanks 🙂
Great video. What setting on the lance do you use?
Thanks for the great feedback. I use the foam cannon on maximum and the vario lance on the karcher which adjusts the pressure automatically when you attach the foam cannon.
Really helpful...many thanks
Thanks Andrew 👍
Great video, did you decide to skip the polar seal step?
I've got a K4 and have replaced everything on it with better after market bits.
Love using it to clean my car, but it's just too hot at the moment to use.
Yes, I skipped the sealant because there are a few stone chips I need to sort out.
It's too hot to do anything at the moment 🥵
You need to close the tap water , or keep the water go through the karcher?
The water needs to stay on whenever you are using the Karcher. If you don't have water going through it, you will damage the pump.
Great video👍
Thank you 🙂
could you use this to apply Sodium Hypochlorite if it was only used for that? and would it effect my washer in anyway , and thanks for sharing the vid
I don't see why not as long as you are careful where you spray it. The plastic shouldn't react with the sodium hyperchlorite but I would wash it out afterwards. It won't affect your pressure washer as the sodium hyperchlorite is forced away from the machine by the water flow. Let us know how it goes if you decide to try it.
I am looking at buying a k4 or k5 it comes with a snow foam attachemnt. Is this the same one as in the video mate.
Not quite. I think the nozzles are the same but the foam cannon supplied in the car and home kit has a smaller (300 ml) tank.
I've had three of these and they're not very very good. The yellow seal/washer/whatever it is came out of the first one as I removed it from the lance and I had to mangle it to get it off; I put it down to bad luck and got another. The second caused my Karcher K4 to pulse so I took it back to Halfords and changed it for the third one which has yet to break. The foam is thin and runs straight off the car and onto the ground no matter how you set the dial.
Don't waste your money.
Which snow foam are you using?
Do you apply the snow foam onto a dry car? Is there any benefit to giving the car a quick blast just with water first?
Yes, apply the snow foam onto the dry car. Rinsing the car first makes it harder for the snow foam to adhere.
@bigtedshome cheers mate 👍
Do I need to have water from hosepipe turned on to use snow foam ? Thanks
Yes, if you run the machine without water running through the pump, you will wreck it.
Top man, great video. Thank you
Thanks 👍
If you still using the old K series gun and lances this will not fit, you need Karcher adapter M
Thanks Andrew 👍
bought all set but forgot that i dont have outdoor tab! i feel so stupid lol! i cannot find proper connector for indoor tabs :(
Have you considered something like this? amzn.to/3W4rHLs
Hello, the new MJJC foam cannon S V3.0 have released, may I know if you like to review it? Thanks!
I already have reviewed it: ua-cam.com/video/LXL5RnVQNxE/v-deo.html 🙂
@@bigtedshome Ok,thanks so much!
Can it be used with K 2 or K 1 models ?
Yes, the FJ6 can be used with any of the Karcher K series pressure washers
Hi there, can I use this to spray roof treatment to my roof? How far does it reach?
I'm sorry but I've not used mine for anything like that. Let us know what happens if you do try it.
Bought one after this review. It is rubbish! Used Simoniz snow foam cleaner, and got a nice foam. Despite a pre-rinse with the jet washer, two applications of the foam at slightly stronger than the recommended dosage, and a rinse off with the jet washer, the light road film on my car stayed and I had to resort to a traditional sponge wash. Might as well have used a bucket and hose as it's a lot less hassle then setting the Karcher up! YMMV. The yellow insert in the cannon's connector got stuck in the Karcher handle and had to be prised out with pliers leading to it being damaged, so the cannon is being sent back for a refund!
You were right to send it back if the yellow insert came out as it was obviously faulty. I think however, that you have misinterpreted how snow foam is supposed to be used. Snow foam is not designed to give you a touchless wash. Snow foam is used as a pre-wash that breaks down and removes the worst of the grime when rinsed off. This should then be followed by a contact wash with shampoo. This video shows the process: ua-cam.com/video/k1X4d6nGOG8/v-deo.html
@@bigtedshome He also incorrectly applied the snow foam to a pre-rinsed and wet vehicle.
How it should be used with Karcher wow car liquid?
@juliakozak3989 I've not used that liquid but suggest that you follow the instructions on the back of the container.
Any advice of snowfoam for brake dust on wheels?
You will need to use alloy wheel cleaner like this and a brush to clean off stubborn brake dust: amzn.to/48PqQ4q
Most of these cleaners are corrosive so always wear eye protection and gloves when using them.
@@bigtedshomei saw somewhere video where it going off without brush, thought some snowfoam like demon snowfoam for wheels, do job without brush
@obuchalki It depends how baked on the brake dust is and how good a job you want to do. This guys videos are worth watching: ua-cam.com/video/bjmi07ISYLc/v-deo.htmlsi=2HjCQ46yGxk880Kr
Got this was disappointed, moved to a autogylm foam cannon, same Karcher, loads more thick foam with the new cannon,.
Thanks for commenting. I agree, the AutoGlym foam cannon is better but it is much more expensive.
Poorly manufactured, the yellow connector in the foam gun stays in my Karcher gun resulting in me having to use a screwdriver to remove it.
I've not had that problem, but you're not the first person to complain about the yellow connector getting stuck in the lance. I don't know how common this is, but Karcher must be aware of this problem.
A mi no me sale asi
Dreadful thing. Every time I use it with my K4 washer a yellow grommet from the attachment gets stuck in the lance and has to be levered out with pliers. Cheap and nasty.
Sounds like you got a faulty one. I've not had a problem with mine apart from needing to clean the nozzle. Have you tried gluing the grommet back into place?
😂😂 thats a faulty foam bottpe
Same thing happens to me aswell. Really annoying.
Its absolutely shite the foam is like water do not buy
Get auto bright snow foam cannon this archer is shite
The autobrite foam cannon is better but it is much more expensive. In terms of relative cost it's like comparing a Dacia Sandero with an Audi A4.
This is clearly a rubbish cannon
