Hey Obsidian, I have an observation I wanted to share with you after watching this video. I went on my troll to test this myself in a raid and I noticed that when my power was low I was still able to clip my debuffs with recharge but my group members power bars wasn’t going back up. I was still getting the benefit of the debuff but not of recharge. In this video you can notice it too because when you have enough power you can see that your power bar ticks twice but once you start getting to that low point you can see that it only ticks once sometimes even though you’re doing both powers. Meaning that yes, you are casting both powers but you’re only getting benefit of one of them. This is just my own personal findings from my testing and watching this video. It could be different for you since you do have almost 10k more power than I do, but I just wanted to share with you from what I noticed.

Ok this makes sense now. In your other controller videos, you said to focus on power first and then vit. That's why I was confused as to why you used hybrid. All I saw was that superpowered gave 10% power while the other was only giving 5% vit so I thought that was right. I'm definitely going to switch and see how I do in a raid:)

I say take power first because you still need a certain about of power to maintain the rotation. You don't need to do this hardcore one if you have lower stats all my other controller guides I give the other one which is just skipping the 2nd clip of the debuffs and to do recharged clipped with your sc generator twice in a row. I show this rotation because this is what I use with the stats I have. But in the end its still hybrid both ways. Once you reach enough power it becomes a diminishing rate of return and then its better to take vit like I do in my elite procs and some mods. If you go 205 into vit then only like 50 or less in power for example you wont have enough of a power pool to maintain an efficient rotation. It sounds confusing as you think more power would = superpowered spec like you said but just think of it that I need *enough* power to maintain this aggressive rotation to maximize my supercharge and my artifacts/elite proc.

hybrid is clearly the way to go, but for those that can't play the game at this level (specifically with the animation canceling) wouldnt super powered be better?

For sure if you don’t have the sp to afford the larger power pool or gear/weapon super powered will be better. Hybrid is best when you have the stats to pull it off as it will be the best for providing the most power to the group

Is solar a must???
I use and enjoy brawling weapon master.....to where in doing that spin move.I feel its fast and I can clip it towards anything afterwards. I will add the %5 highbrid

That move was best during the AM ear and weapon mastery combos but now its not good for supercharge regeneration. You can use it but your abilities to generate supercharge as well as your overall weapon damage will take a big hit. In the end its up to you as its not a "must" just the most efficient for timing and regeneration.

solar flame has the highest supercharge regen along with its animation/duration being easily clippable in succession. You could also be dual pistols but that is more awkward of a clip.

you need to start showing your ability to recharge a teamate...these test arent proving anything except that you can keep yourself powered...
you should have a healer spaming heals and you keeping them powered up, and then you can prove with one is better for powering the group
not to be rude, but i think your style of trolling is very power wasteful, i never need to do "rotation" when trolling. i apply debuffs and use weapon to regan power , powerdump after each weapon combo, high vit spec so each recharge is giving the most power out.
i can easily apply 3 debuffs and a rechage and never go below half power, then using weapon combos to return my own power , ready to powerdump again
also, how are you suppose to power the group if you have nods to hit or teamates to pick up. you "rotation" seem to keep you focused doing that rotation to keep power up. so if you stop, no power for the group.
i oldschool troller, and mean no disrespect, i just dont understand this new meta

Poserboii his rotation comes from the parasite artifacts along with one of the buffs that goes into play with elite gear. They both give bigger crit chance/mag with keeping the 3 debuffs out. This along with the neck mod increases the amount of power dump vs what you or Kuro stated. I personally change between hybrid or superpower depending on my troll power. Chills way is the best via keeping power for yourself and giving the most power to your group.

Having someone to power won't prove it either way, you are completely missing the entire point of the spec. Superpowered's only use as a spec is to maintain your *OWN* power so that you can power the group, superpowered doesn't have any magic to it that makes you give more power out to the group besides the belief that since you won't run out of power for dumps because you are constantly using your powers to regen then you'll be fine. I showed in this test that I regen just as well using a hybrid spec as superpowered so keeping myself powered is not an issue in either spec so hybrid maximizes my use of solar flames not only for supercharge regen but for power regen as well in addition to the extra 5% stats I receive.
By saying you believe my style of controlling is very power wasteful you are saying you just don't understand the controller meta after stats revamp at all which you mentioned in your statement as well. It doesn't matter that debuffs are 12 seconds and you think my applying each of them off cooldown is just overwriting them and being wasteful I am not using those powers for their debuffs but I am using them for supercharge regen. There is not a single controller in the entire game that can earn supercharge as quickly as you can with this rotation, its mathematically impossible. The new controller meta with the scrap of the soul cloak partnered with the power harness I am nearly earning a supercharge off every cooldown which will in turn maximize the power I give out to a group and protection from the shield uses. I don't need to slowly regen my SC and keep it for those dangerous moments and always keep one on cooldown because I will simply earn another. Gadgets and Mental being the exceptions with 60s cooldowns closwer to 45-50 seconds with the artifact but same case I will earn a supercharge each time before its off cooldown so I can keep using it throughout the raid.
In terms of picking up teammates and losing the regen etc that's why I have constant supercharges I also have soders, supply's, the central city trinket for extra power, the summer event trinket for a little power I have *MULTIPLE* ways to recover power if there is at any point an interruption in my regen.
If you are looking for video proof of your specific test simply look at my quantum controller video ua-cam.com/video/uoHQI4_KaB4/v-deo.html I use a shield supercharge EVERY SINGLE tentacle phase in TTBE and protect the entire group not even needing a healer shield or teammates to block and that is because of this rotations supercharge regen abilities there isn't any other way you can even come CLOSE to matching that regen by any other controller rotation.

more vit = more power to group... more resto, dom = stronger supercharge shield to everyone. hybrid wins thats that. test was perfect because you run out of power more or less the same time with both builds...

for healer it's a bit more tricky, since there are alot of moments were you may need to use heals back to back without a weapon combo inbetween you don't get to take advantage of your weapon regen at all. Most healers I know go superpowered just so they can spam heals if needed and not worry about weapon combos. If you have good controllers or if you switch and feel you are fine on power than hybrid will be better because of the resto and dom 5% bonus you get which will not only help your heals but shield strength as well.

And earth I’m currently earth for earth for the most damage might and precision as a tank critical healing crits and magnitude dominance and health if you battle tank earth is precision and dominance for fire health restoration Little dom because fire is self heal no based but grap you healing crits and this is for fire tanking for fire dps might for the most part don’t forget you crits if you go full might superpowered is the way to go if you use precision hybrid is better especially if you run a SC you’ll get it almost as fast as using soul cloak leveled up to 80

For quantum dps you got both might and precision or just might don’t forget weapon mastery if use precision period and for quantum it has good holds and stuns still one of the best trolls in the game I would use the spec given here for quantum and pick up the hand blasters or brawlers into martial arts tap hold triangle weapon mastery uh for electricity I never played as the power I’m water and I’d go restoration and the put rest into power or split my sp in half amongst the 2 grab a weapon master and go hybrid use a sc probably that shields and heals 5he group

That Motherfucker Guy quantum is a hard one obsidian can help you I think he has a guide on it but quantum is good as hell though but it’s dps is a hard one to master trolling is troll with quantum tbh it is one of my original powers but I didn’t play with it long because quantum was trash by the time I used it now in stats revamp quantum to me is easily a top power all around considering it’s dps can go extraordinarily hard like it used to back in the day

ObsidianChillDCUO Because i use the bow as a troller, ive never cared for pistols or hb. Ive done both builds. Tbh its more trash dps than trolls due to lack of damage ouput vs there power intake, and that usually dont add up. When you dps losing by 4 or 5 millions and got the most power intake thats a issue. Or a healer whos dps and healing as many do. All these factor into trolling. Im sure you dont pug so you probably dont run into these issues, but its something i think should be addressed to the troller community also.

I pug all the time because everyday I run into controllers who aren't even using a supercharge generator in their rotations and have no clue what to do since stats revamp. My philosophy always as a controller is that if there is a dps or a healer using a horribly inefficient rotation I don't have the time or if they will even listen mid raid for them to change it, if a healer wants to spam their priority heal and that's what they feel comfortable doing as a healer I don't have the right to say to myself well he's using too much power so i'm just not going to power him. That is a horrible outlook to have on the game, I will do everything to the best of my abilities to make sure that I am doing everything I can to power whatever pug im in. If you don't the whole group just lags behind and takes longer to complete the raid cause certain individuals are just starved for power. When I pug if anyone's power bar stays below even 70% then I know im not doing enough or i'll watch them to see what their doing and adjust accordingly. I have no right to deny any player power just because I feel they are doing something wrong, that is not how a controller should think.
