LOVES: Look, it's so pretty..... and then reality! too funny & too real. I have a friend that requests all my 'leftovers' and she makes a "scrap lap throw" for donations. I keep the leftovers in a gallon size ziplock; once it is full, i send it over to her. THAT CHAIR is gorgeous!!!!!!!! and very clever to have the hidden compartment!

That looks great!!! You have alot of room and it would definitely inspire me to create!! My yarn is in tote bags and vacuum sealed bags. I live on a 38' sailboat and the berth in the front, "the pointy end" is where I store my yarn. Every few months I rearrange it, basically to recall what I have!!! Good thing you have a helper!! So much pretty yarn!!! Nice set up for tutorials. When I see all your scraps you have to work through and organize I’m glad I crochet so slow. 😂😂. Especially since you do doll clothes I would think keeping those small scraps would be a good idea. Yep “reality”!! 🧶💕🧶. The chair is adorable. We have chairs with storage like that in our travel trailer.

Hi very pretty yarn room and one thing I don't have is any yarn room I only use the living room and don't even have room in my house to do a yarn room. The green and blue color of yarns are really pretty, thank you for sharing with all of us. The dogs are very cute as well.
Great job! Love your room and especially your precious doggies! BTW, I never have yarn to wind up. If I have a partial skein that I don’t need immediately, I sit and wind it while relaxing and watching tv. Small balls of yarn go into a shoe holder on the back of my closet door so I can get to them easily. Full skeins are stored in my loft, in rolling garment bags. 💕💕

Lovely craft room, I so wish I had a craft room, right now I have totes in my room stacked from floor to ceiling with yarn and I have just enough space to climb in into bed, and have totes of yarn in my living room about six totes, am working in using up the yarn, did empty one tote of yarn making hats, scarves, shawls, tops, leggings and blankets. Starting on on the next tote lol. I really do love your craft room setup, looks really nice. Thank you Pamela for sharing your beautiful yarn room with us. Looking forward to the next video. My yarn room has those exact same wire cubes you got. I have them across 3 entire walls and they hold a LOT of yarn. I like them because they allow for airflow. When putting it together, make SURE the wire panels SNAP into the connectors, or you can end up with an unstable or tilting unit. But boy, I LOVE these wire cubes! People even use these for small animal cages and runs (like for rabbits, guinea pigs, etc) because you don't HAVE to snap them in a complete "cube" grid. I've had mine for about a year now and they are still very sturdy!
I love seeing your craft room! I keep all the yarn too- even the clippings. I stuff amigarumi with them. I bought a plain glass container at Goodwill for my small balls of scraps and a masson jar from some pickles for the tiny ones like that green ball.
Love your craft room. You are very organized. I live in NW Arkansas-if I was closer, I would come and untangle some of your yarn. LOL. I take the snips of yarn from projects and put them in a Mason jar-they look pretty. Thanks for sharing your crafting space!
I can't believe you're giving away our secret, that we too have small piles of stuff here and there. I use all those little things in scrap blankets or make a ball with all the little bits tied together with the magic knot and wound up into cakes to use for those scrap blankets. Everyone loves how colorful they turn out.

Your room looks nice and comfy! Just a heads up about storing yarn in front of windows: I have a big 16 cube organizer that sits in front of a window. I have blinds and always keep them closed, but I didn’t realize how much light was still getting through. Some of my yarn got bleached 😢. So I bought a black cardboard craft thing at Dollar Tree and now I put that on the windowsill behind my organizer.

I love my yarn room but I do want to concentrate on putting a huge dent in it this year.
I learned loom knitting last year and have been knitting hats for charity!!
It is so much neater than my yarn room! But then again, I resin pour in my room as well so it takes up a lot of room.
